I’M ALL YOURS

Chapter 32: Chapter 32: “To Name the Fire”

[Scene: Frostline Cliffs – One Mile from the Ruins]

FX: Wind carries ash over snow. The lab has collapsed into a crater behind them. Only black smoke rises. 🏔️🔥

[Visual: Elara and Kaelith sit near a cliffside. A tiny campfire burns — weak, but real. They've said nothing for a long time.]

Elara (thinking):

"There's nothing left behind me now. No lab. No vault. No name that belongs to them."

"But I don't know what to call what's left."

[Kaelith sets down a flask. Offers it without words.]

[Elara]:

"Thanks."

She drinks. Winces.

[Kaelith]:

"Burns. But keeps the ghosts out."

[Elara watches the fire.]

[Elara]:

"Do you know what Elara means?"

[Kaelith]:

"I assumed it meant 'brave' or 'beautiful' or something poetic."

[Elara (smiles faintly)]:

"It means 'light for a master's path.'"

[Kaelith (quietly)]:

"Of course it does."

[Elara looks at her hands.]

[Elara]:

"Ariyenna was a lie. Elara was a leash. I've worn two names… and neither were mine."

She tosses a twig into the flame.

Elara (thinking):

"What do I name a soul that was forged, cracked, burned, and walked away still breathing?"

[Kaelith speaks carefully.]

[Kaelith]:

"You could wait. You don't have to choose now."

[Elara]:

"No. If I wait… someone else might name me again."

[She stands slowly. Pulls out the broken feather that once bound Mordain's scroll.]

[Elara (softly)]:

"I was made to be all someone else's. That was the name behind the chain."

She tosses the feather into the fire.

It burns blue.

[Visual: She closes her eyes. Her hand hovers over her chest — where the core once pulsed.]

Elara (thinking):

"I want a name that means nothing to a master."

"Only to me."

[She opens her eyes. Looks at Kaelith. Speaks clearly.]

[Elara]:

"My name is… Riven."

[Kaelith blinks. Then nods — like it fits.]

[Kaelith]:

"Split and reforged."

[Riven (smiling slightly)]:

"Exactly."

[They sit in silence again. But this time, it feels full — not empty.]

[Kaelith]:

"Do you want me to stop calling you Elara?"

[Riven]:

"No. I want you to be the last one who ever did."

Riven (thinking):

"It's mine now. The fire. The cracks. The soul."

"They named me to serve. I name myself to live."

[Final Visual: Riven carves a mark into her vambrace — a new sigil. Not Ariyenna's. Not Elara's. A flame, split in two, but rising.]
