"Was that you practicing… or rewriting reality?"

[Kaelith walks closer, arms crossed.]

"Your blade shouldn't be able to do that. It's soul-bound tech — loyal to command sequences."

[Riven]:

"I broke those. It's not reacting to control."

[She looks down at her hand — the burn mark still faint from the core she destroyed.]

[Riven]:

"It's reacting to will."

💭 Flashback: Ariyenna being taught to kneel. Elara being trained to obey. Both made small.

[Voice from the past — scientists]:

"Her power must be bound. If she ever wills freely… she'll be unstoppable."

[Back to present — Riven lowers the blade.]

Riven (thinking):

"So that was the truth."

"They weren't afraid I'd fail. They were afraid I'd choose."

🌅 Scene: Small Rise Overlooking the Valley

[Kaelith speaks gently.]

"You're not dangerous because of what you are anymore."

[She turns back to the valley.]

It forms an endless flame.
