In the end, I never caught Aki. Red ran in a way that probably broke all the world records. Had to stop and wave goodbye to my revenge. At least for now. It's okay, I'll get better, with the help of Iredzumi, and I'll show Aki the motherfucker. But for now, it was worth it to see what had changed.

- "System!"

First and last name: Kyle Smith.

Age: 15.

Race: Human?

Titles: Oddity II, Shadow Rising I, E.G.O. User I.

Physical Condition: Healthy.

Psychological Condition: Healthy.

Energy: 100%.

Chosen World: Project Moon.

Knowledge acquired: Singularity J Corp, Singularity M Corp, Singularity K Corp, Singularity L Corp, several packets of information.

Special Abilities: Merging with the Infinite Eternal, controlling the power of desires and feelings, E.G.O. A Star Called Sun, ????

Whoa, new title. Why wasn't there a notification?

- At this moment, there was a technical glitch that caused the System to malfunction," Yoha's voice rang out in her head. At the same time, she spoke in a polite and unplayful manner, which made me even tense up.

- "What are you doing all of a sudden? Are you up to no good?" - I asked her suspiciously.

- Why was I so snarky and mean?! It's all because my bicycle... Because my Master wasn't cool! - Yohi said excitedly.

- "Easy on the bends, dearie."

- And now my Master has set himself a Great Goal and has become worthy of such an honest, intelligent, good, beautiful, generous, wonderful....

- "Have you decided to remember generally all the positive epithets?" - Yohi asked ironically.

- ...Attentive and, of course, a humble helper," finished EIshka.

- "Pfft, especially humble. Okay, I'm certainly immensely proud to have such an assistant, but you'd better tell me what changes have taken place."

- The title E.G.O. User I strengthens the mind, making it harder to influence it with psionics, magic, technology, and other sources, making it easier to influence reality with feelings and will. Since this is the first rank of the title, the bonuses are not very high. You should master your E.G.O. better to enhance the effect.

- "I see. What other changes?"

- Your energy reserve has increased. The light has affected your body, mind, and soul, strengthening and enhancing them. Resistance to harm has also increased. In some ways, you are now stronger than just a well-trained human. But it's still a long way from superhuman level," Yohi said clearly and to the point.

- "Okay, since there's plenty of energy, it's worth deciding what to get next..."

At the moment, I was thinking about which Singularity to choose. I had a choice between time control, gravity, the ability to adopt other people's experiences, space travel, or the conceptual ability to unlock anything from physical things to conceptual things. The ability to lock anything is already there, now it would be nice to get the opposite technology. And I probably would have chosen the latter if I hadn't remembered a more interesting option.

- "Yohi, can I get someone else's E.G.O.?" - The AI asked with interest.

- Yes. In case you forgot, let me remind you. In addition to knowledge, you are able to gain abilities specific to that world of your choice. For example, Chakra, AT field, all sorts of demonic energies, the powers of the Sages of Light, and much, much more. But I must warn you that using someone else's E.G.O. can be dangerous, because it is a manifestation of someone else's mind, with its own prejudices, worldview, fears and more. If your will is weakened, the E.G.O. will start to affect your mind and body. So I don't recommend you use them Master," the AI said disapprovingly.

- "What if I need one of the abilities of a specific E.G.O.? To be precise, creating books from defeated enemies. Or even more specifically, obtaining books from the Library of Ruins."

- ...It's possible," Yohi replied after a brief silence. - Since you only need part of the ability, by my calculations, it is possible to bring it into the System as one of the functions and use energy or Light to create the books you need.

- "Then act on it. How long will it take?"

- 7 days, 3 hours, 6 minutes.

- "That's okay, we'll wait. Just in time to work with Iredzumi."

Everything was already ready for the nano tattoo, from which I decided to start today. I didn't want to get into a new mess without certain trump cards up my sleeve. Why didn't those fucking ninjas attack a little later? I'd have seen how they did it.

After warning everyone not to distract me, I laid down in a special sarcophagus I had made for the future. This mechanism was capable of performing operations, modifications, and just about anything else related to the body. This would be the first time I would use it.

The application took two hours, during which time I slept. When the tattoo covered my entire body, I was woken up by the inbuilt alarm clock. After getting up and moving around a bit, I felt my body feel lighter. The tattoos themselves looked like black clouds or gusts of wind, as they are depicted in cartoons. Almost my whole body was painted that way. I think if I went to Japan, I'd be recognised as a yakuza. But it's not bad.

But I didn't get tattoos for beauty. Iredzumi gives you a good defence and increases your body's capabilities. I just have to test the limits. I had a sharp knife in my cosy lab. Taking it, I tried to start by stabbing my finger. I could feel the touch of metal, but nothing else, so I pressed harder. It would have been enough to tear off a normal person's finger. But nothing happened. So I pressed until the knife broke. There was still not a scratch on my skin. That's not bad. You could stab a man through and through like that. If you don't hit bone. I suppose I could try shooting myself, but that seems a bit excessive.

Then I'll try beating something hard with my fists while my sarcophagus reconfigures itself to test Iredzumi's durability. Finding suitable stones and bricks used to test various tools, I began pounding them. I was pleased with the result, as not a single one of them could withstand my strength. Once again, I did not suffer any serious damage. Not serious, though.

After waiting for the sarcophagus to fully adjust, I lay down in it again. According to the tests conducted by the device, I could survive even a detonation of explosives under my feet without getting hurt. A shot from a large-calibre rifle to the head will not damage my brain or break my neck, due to the nano-machines inside and the armour outside that dampens the energy. An automatic rifle round at point-blank range would feel like a faint tapping sound. There were many more tests that showed a serious increase in my survivability. Maybe I should use the cry: iron inside, iron outside.

Strength, by the way, was also quite great. Breaking rocks with my fists was just a flower. In terms of strength and defence, I was probably close to a fellow like Senator Armstrong, except that I didn't control metal. For this effect, I not only tattooed myself with nano-tattoos, but also pumped nano-machines into my body. I could now be considered a nano-enhanced human being. Hmm, seems like too much of a nano word.

But I digress. The tattoos combined with the nano-machines would allow me to get out of even the most dangerous situations. Most of the modern weaponry isn't much of a threat to me anymore. The tattoos protected me from the outside and the nano-machines from the inside. Besides, all sorts of poisons, gases and other stuff were also not scary. These little guys could patch up wounds, too, albeit much worse than chilopnesis*. But they might not have it on hand, so it was a good idea to be on the safe side.

And of course I took care of the defences, against EMP and a lady like Magneto. There's no way to destroy or rip the nano-machines out of me. They weren't made of metal and they didn't work like normal electronics. At the same time, I added the ability to change the colour of tattoos with my mind to match my skin tone and stop working, so as not to get burned. I don't want to draw attention to myself that way. In general, I tried to make a straw from all sides, to which I thought up. Now I could fight on equal terms with many superhumans and, if not win, then to draw the fight.

Well, now I should give my mum the same treatment and I could breathe easy. She was at work now, so I set up the parameters and prepared everything I needed.

I didn't feel like doing anything, so I decided to just hang around and watch what was on the zombie TV. And it was the usual. Politics, supers, cataclysms, fertility and marriage problems. Pretty much standard Marvel universe fare.

- ...at least 34 people were killed when the tsunami struck. 15 of them men and children. Twenty-seven more are being sought at this time...

I don't like this news. I was about to get back to the important business of doing nothing, but at that moment Nora, the maid, came into my room to clean. She was a young girl of 23, with a shoulder-length blonde bob, a mischievous face and green eyes like Bambi's. All in all, a real doll. As far as I knew she was married, being the third wife. I thought I'd have a chat with her while I was cleaning.

How careless of me.

Nora told me all about her husband and sisters, omitting only the most intimate details, for which I was grateful. In the end, I was not glad I had got involved. I was saved by the fact that the girl had other rooms to clean. Saddened that she hadn't told me a quarter of what she wanted to tell me (causing me a nervous tic), she ran off to another room. I exhaled with relief. After that incident, I tried not to run into Nora for fear of getting morally injured.

So I finally waited for my mum and immediately offered to get Iredzumi tattooed.

- And where this tattoo will be located? - She asked thoughtfully.

- All over my body. And do not worry, there is an opportunity to make it invisible. Or, for example, take the method of the Japanese, who made a special tattoo that appears when the blood rushes to the skin when washing with hot water, - I said and decided at the end to fool around. - Or during sex.

- Ahem. Okay," the woman said slightly embarrassed, apparently imagining the description. - Let's just start now. I have a business meeting coming up. I can't be late.

- Don't worry. I've calibrated the sarcophagus and I'll have it up and running in an hour.

Once I'd adjusted the settings and put Mum to bed, I started waiting for the operation to finish. But I got bored of just waiting, so I decided to do something more interesting. Namely to practice controlling the Light. Just as I started, I saw Mama Lin appear. She was looking around when she emerged from the sarcophagus. Having noticed me, the woman flew closer and asked what I was doing. I tried to show various tricks while telling her. It was not so good, but naturally I was not upset. It's a start. I still have everything ahead of me.

An hour passed imperceptibly, and the sarcophagus performed all the necessary manipulations. I turned away and waited for Mum to get dressed and examined the result. She had chosen a floral motif that now covered her entire body. Concentrating, Mum made the tattoo invisible with an effort of thought. I quickly explained all the possibilities of this jewellery. Having learnt that she was now protected from most threats of the Earth, the woman thanked me warmly and, looking at the time, ran to get ready for a business meeting.

I must say that she was not so surprised at the possibilities of the things I had made, because she knew that they were all supertechnologies from another world. During the story about my past life I explained about it. The woman only confirmed her words that it didn't matter to her whether I was a genius or not. The main thing is to be a good person.

I decided to start getting used to my new abilities. Both physical and "magical". After spending a few hours on it, I was satisfied with the results. It was now safe to say that I could handle an overwhelming number of different threats. Only problem was that the remaining ones were extremely strong. But now with the receipt of the Light, gaining more power was only a matter of time.

The next thing I planned was to finish school, uni and get my Emancipation Proclamation. By telling my plan to the guys, I was able to infect them with similar ideas. Since everyone among my friends, including Aki, was a headstrong guy (although at first glance red doesn't seem so), it wasn't such a problem. So we were all studying together, eager to get off the needle of school and onto the face of freedom, as one lady put it.

Anyway, life was boiling and everything was fine until Aki and Gerda got into a fight. And it went like this. We sat at recess and discussed who has what favourite pastime, and after the statements of the male half of our company came Gerda's turn.

- I like listening to classical music and drinking black tea, - said the girl with a slight smile. - It is also desirable at this beautiful moment to see the action, which will ignite the flame of interest in my soul.

- What a bore! - Aki said dismissively, leaning back in her chair and putting her hands behind her head. - Only some pale moth would be interested in such a thing!

Apparently Aki was referring to Gerda, for she was the palest of the bunch, though not of a sickly hue, but rather aristocratic. The girls had a certain conflict in their understanding of how a real woman should behave. Gerda was not a noblewoman, but rather an aristo, while Aki, an heiress of an ancient clan, didn't bother with norms and traditions, behaving like a girl. I found it ironic.

- Then tell us how you like to spend your time, so that we can reach a verdict," Gerda said in a cold tone.

- That's easy! I like active holidays. I like the wind in my face, my rivals behind me, and I like it to happen far away from the city in nature! Or it would also be great to spar with a strong opponent and in the end use all your strength. To feel like you've put your best foot forward. That's what I like! - Aki said proudly, her nose held high.

- Heh, that's the kind of fun only monkeys can have. Nothing sublime," Gerda said arrogantly. - For those who have no beautiful beginnings, it's probably good enough.

- Hoo! Is that how it is? - Aki asked excitedly.

- Exactly like that. And to think that barbarian fights are beautiful can only be a limited person.

- Who's a limited person? - The red one asked in an ingratiating tone.

- It's very likely not me," said Gerda, smiling.

- Come on, girls! Let's live together! - Dan tried to interfere, but it was no use.

- Don't interfere! - synchronously told him the girls. They gave him a look that made me worry for a second about the guy's life.

- Heh, you Daniel, be careful, or it may come from both of them, - I decided to share with my friend a sacred secret. - Better pretend nothing's going on, like Ben. You'll be safer.

- I guess you're right, Kyle. That's what my dad always tells me," the still pale boy said.

While we were talking, the girls had already come to an agreement.

- I'm not interested in winning or losing. But even so, I won't give in to anyone.

- Well, we'll decide who's right next break," Aki said, looking at her.

- Prepare to fall. You don't seem to have chosen the right opponent this time.

I think I missed something important. I didn't realise what they were up to, so I decided to put it out of my mind. And then, with the end of class and the start of the next break while I was distracted, the girls left the classroom. After waiting a few minutes, I decided to go look for them before they made a mess of things.

- Guys, I'm gonna go out for a bit, or I'm gonna get in trouble.

- You said you shouldn't get involved in girl stuff," Daniel said.

- Not to a certain extent. Sometimes it's worth it.

- Don't die in there," Dan said with a smile.

- Thank you," he said cheerfully.

I'm afraid it's going to be difficult if these fools go full blast. Eh, problematic.

Retreat.

- What did you expect when you agreed to a duel? - Akiko asked her opponent with one eyebrow raised. - It's obvious that I'm stronger. And didn't you say that fighting was for barbarians?

The two girls were in the middle of the school park, in a secluded place where neither cameras nor people could see them.

- I was talking about getting pleasure from fighting. And I meant that for girls, it's vulgar. Fighting is for men. It's normal for them to enjoy fighting. As for strength, the bigger the cupboard, the louder it falls," Gerda said, folding her arms across her chest.

- Heh, we'll see! - replied the girl, ironically remembering that not so long ago she herself had uttered similar words. - Don't complain later!

- And don't get your hopes up.

Akiko rushed at her opponent, already anticipating how she would knock the arrogant girl off her feet. But a gut feeling was signalling to her, as if to say that it wouldn't be that easy. And no sooner had she travelled half the distance than her body stopped moving. Trying to do something about it, Akiko looked at her opponent and saw her smirking with the left side of her mouth.

- Is something wrong, oh mighty warrior? - she asked with a sneer, still standing calmly.

- Wh-what is it?! Are you a m-mutant?! - Akiko asked with difficulty.

- That's right.

- And what's the honour of using superpowers against a normal human? - The Japanese woman was able to ask normally.

- You are not an ordinary person. Your body is full of energy that bursts out like a geyser. I saw it during our first meeting. So I don't need to be told tales of the Vienna Woods.

- Then I don't have to hold back! - Akiko growled contentedly, saturating Ki's body and gradually washing away her opponent's influence.

- Exactly. To strike you in the prime of your power, what could be more desirable than this? - Gerda asked, squeezing her opponent's body tighter.

- Only to punch you in the face, bitch! - Akiko shouted and freed herself from the enemy's telekinesis and rushed towards Gerda again.

The Japanese almost struck a blow on the face of the opponent, as her body was again twisted by invisible hands or rather tentacles. Only this time the impact was much stronger.

- Wow. It was quite dangerous," said Gerda, surprised. - I'm willing to admit that you are strong. But if that's all, you should give up, because the fight is already lost.

- To hell with it, kono-yaro! - angrily replied the Japanese woman, trying to move. But this time her opponent was more alert and promptly applied more force to hold back. - We'll see who's who!

Not wanting to give up, Akiko decided to use E.G.O.. Naturally only the first three modes, she wasn't going to kill that black thing. Even though she had considered the tempting prospect. She didn't like her from the first time she met her. All that high-bred arrogance and stupid talk made the Japanese girl mad, but since the black-and-yellow thing was Kyle's friend, she had to restrain herself. How could he stand her? And even though the situation got better after receiving the E.G.O., because the girl's mind became calmer, but the relationship with the little otter did not stop. In the end, it all culminated in today's fight. Nothing, she would teach her a good lesson and everything would be fine.

At the same second, E.G.O. appeared on her arms and legs at the girl's request. It conducted Ki perfectly and could be fuelled by that energy, making it seriously easy to use. After manifesting the power of her mind, Akiko instantly felt her body become lighter and Gerda's telekinesis binds begin to weaken, due to the passive resistance that had appeared. With a predatory smile, the Japanese woman put more strength into her swing and struck her opponent.

Gerda grabbed Akiko with her power at the very beginning of the fight and began to carefully observe the processes taking place in her energy body. At the same time, not forgetting to scan the neighbourhood with both her gaze and telekinesis, because the girl did not want to reveal her abilities in front of the whole school. And it must be said that the Japanese girl had a lot to look at.

Not so long ago, she had a strange formation in her aura that exuded an incomprehensible energy that looked like light. At the same time, Kyle had something similar. Whereas before, the energy in the guy's aura was unstructured. And from the looks of it, something had happened to the couple that gave them some kind of power. And that it was a power, Gerda had no doubt. Though it was difficult to understand what exactly this light was, but the girl's eyes were able to catch something, albeit indistinctly.

Naturally, Gerda wondered what it was. It was not like anything she had seen before. Kyle himself had not said a word about the incident, which was the reason for the girl's irritation. As a result, the conflict between Gerda and Akiko gradually grew. The fight only became the natural outcome.

When the red monkey offered to settle matters once and for all, Gerda did not hesitate to agree. Thus, she could kill two birds with one stone. Click on the nose of this barbarian and at the same time to see what she can do. The girl was not afraid of losing, knowing the limit of her strength, which was very high. Gerda almost laughed when she saw how happy this uncouth dummy was after her consent. Nothing, the Japanese woman would soon be in for a big surprise.

But it turned out that she herself was in for a surprise. Akiko was slightly stronger than she had calculated. Gerda had been wrong about her strength. It was due to the energies infusing her opponent's body. She had never encountered such energies before, so she was unable to accurately assess the Japanese woman's limits. But even so, Akiko was in no danger. Even with those strange armour on her arms and legs that could change colours.

And when the girl struck with E.G.O., Gerda, instantly realising her inability to stop her opponent with telekinesis at the moment, intercepted the Asian girl's blow and threw her over herself.

- Khaa!

Akiko hit the ground and tried to jump to her feet, but the telekinetic pressure prevented her from getting up.

- That's it? To be honest, I was disappointed. Even those gaudy armour pieces didn't help. Perhaps you lack grace and style? - towering over her adversary, Gerda asked.

- 'Fuck you in the arse! - Akiko wheezed trying to overcome the invisible press.

As soon as she had to lift up a little, the pressure became stronger. But the girl wasn't going to lose. Certainly not to Gerda. Akiko still had the strength to use Void. Concentrating, she used the fourth mode and falling to the ground, she swung her arms around, turning the bindings that enveloped her body into nothing, despite their intangible nature.

Gerda, who hadn't expected this, recoiled, feeling her telekinetic probes evaporate and tried to use a telekinetic push, while Akiko jumped up, trying for the third time to charge her opponent in the face.At the very last moment, Kyle appeared and grabbed both girls' fists, pulling them apart so that no one would get hurt. And if Akiko wanted to hit harder, Gerda was going to throw her rival away with her telekinesis, and her forceful thrust made the trees shake.

- What are you doing?! Are you out of your mind?!

End of retreat.

- What are you doing?! What the hell are you doing?!

- Stay out of our way! - Aki said angrily.

- That's right! This is our business! - Gerda echoed her.

Well, they're in solidarity for once. It seems they can only unite to fight off guys.

- What the hell are you doing?! - I asked them indignantly. - You almost killed each other and now you're pissing each other off! Yelling at me! Who would think that?!

- She offered to fight," Gerda said nonchalantly, pointing her finger at her rival.

- And you agreed! - Aki looked at her indignantly.

Kindergarten, trousers with straps.

- Well, you guys," I said, not at all what I wanted to say. As if what I had heard would not shake the delicate mental organisation of these juvenile d... Dummies. - Anyway, we'll talk later. Gotta get to class.

Synchronously snorting, the girls, looking in opposite directions, went into the building. I was behind them, just in case. Gerda and Aki seemed to have calmed down, but who knows what they might think. Destroying the school in a full force collision would be avoided. Not because of any great love for the institution, but to avoid problems.

Once we got into the classroom, we didn't have much time to talk, as the lesson started in a minute. As a result, we had to wait until the end of the school day and call Gerda for a frank conversation.

- Why do you keep picking on Aki? Aren't you sick of it yet?

- I'll never get sick of it. That girl is really annoying," the girl replied with a frown. - I don't like her behaviour, which is more typical of boys, her manner of speech and other details.

- Then you were born in the wrong world. Because of the shortage of men, many women take over their functions.

- You don't have to become a guy. A woman must remain a woman, just as a man must remain a man," Gerda said uncompromisingly.

I must say that there were indeed supporters of this thesis, at least the first part of it. I didn't know how many of them there were in percentage ratio, but just now, when technology made it possible to move away from heavy manual labour, this current was gaining momentum. Could such ideas be called the opposite of what had been gaining momentum in the last few years of my life in the other world? I suppose so. If there women wanted equality, objectively or not, and sometimes even something more than equality, here nobody had to prove anything for several thousand years. True, even here there were frictions with ladies who spoke out against any preferences for men. But the state didn't give air to these guys, unlike in the past world. Not because of any higher ideals, but because of logic. Equalise everyone, and many men will go where conditions are better. A fish seeks the deeper, a man seeks the better. That's a great saying, works in at least two worlds.

- What a bother with you," he said tiredly, looking at the sky. - I hope you won't kill each other in the future.

- You don't have to be afraid of that outcome. For the beauty is in remembering the shame of defeat. And it's neither cold nor hot for the dead.

- Well, I don't know whether to be happy or not.

- Now I want to ask you a question.

- Go ahead.

- What is this power you and the barbarian have recently developed? And why haven't I, your friend, been told a word? Am I not worthy of this knowledge? - Gerda asked calmly, her face unchanged.

Only I had got to know her quite well in the meantime. In such a situation, the girl should at least wrinkle her face and say something caustic. But here she's so calm. I think Gerda was really offended that I didn't say anything. It may look a bit childish, but for all her intelligence, she's still a teenager, and with certain mental problems. I had tried several times to find out details about her past, but when it came to her life before she was adopted, the girl would immediately lock up and shut down the conversation. Obviously, there were some unfortunate events that happened at the time that she didn't want to talk about. And kids don't just become homeless. Especially in this world. And apparently it affected Gerda's character, making her toxic and intimidating to most people around her. Even I was the only reason she wanted to hang out with me. But eventually the girl became quite serious about our friendship. It's hard to say how much, but definitely not as a dialogue with one of the classmates, which you can forget about after graduation from school.

Of course, I could say something about Gerda's reluctance to talk about the past, as if to suggest that I shouldn't be asked to be honest, but that would be too cruel.

- It's not you, it's me... Stop, that's a phrase for another situation. Gerda, I didn't tell you because it's dangerous information. I have no wish to involve anyone else in this problem.

- And how is your information so dangerous? - The girl asked sceptically. - Do you doubt my power? Then you should know that what I used today against this bully was only a fraction of my innate power. And let's not forget my mother's influence.

- I don't doubt you or your mum. It's just that even for you, what happened to us could be very dangerous. I don't want you to get hurt.

- So it's not mistrust, but just a precaution? - The girl asked, looking at me carefully.

- Exactly.

- Then I'll trust you. I hope it's not a trick. Then there is one more question.

- Go ahead.

- What happened that you don't want to tell me about happened because of the red club?

- End it," I said tiredly. - It was her fault, I suppose, but not intentional.

- And you saved her?

- More like we saved each other.

- It is becoming more and more interesting to me to learn about this case. But I have a question for you again," said Gerda, after a moment's thought.

- Go on.

- And if I were in a similar situation, would you help me in this hour of need? - asked the girl, tense, waiting for an answer.

- Hm, interesting question, - said to her with a smile. - You know, I'll answer yes. I can't leave you to be torn to pieces by all sorts of bastards, can I?

And taking advantage of the fact that Gerda was at arm's length, he put his palm on her head and stroked the girl.

- Ha-ha-ha! What a face you have now!

And indeed Gerda now looked quite amused. From surprise she opened her eyes wide and opened her mouth, which made her very cute. But after a few moments she tried to give herself a stern look. It didn't work very well, which made me laugh again. Gerda on such disrespect poked her fist in my side and turned away offended. But it did not last long, and after thinking something over, she turned to me again with the face of a man who had found enlightenment:

- Remember, you said about your readiness to give the last cup of your favourite tea and to save your friend, even if you yourself are in danger? Well, know that if you need help, you can always count on me. And I'll give you the tea, too.

- I'll keep that in mind," I told her seriously. To hear such words from this echidna was worth a lot. And the feelings that Gerda was now experiencing, and that I could feel, spoke of her sincerity.

- And now that we have dealt with these serious matters, tell me, O Kyle, what was the armour of the uncouth maiden? - The girl asked, returning to her usual style of conversation.

- I'll tell you, but only if you don't tell anyone.

- I'll do it.

- What you saw is called E.G.O.. It's--

I spent a few minutes telling Gerda what was going on. She snorted, snorted and expressed her emotions in many other ways. Since she was quite interested in this power, she asked me to pump her with Light. Even the danger of the Distortion I told her about did not diminish her determination to extract the E.G.O.. Thinking that I would be able to help her in case of an emergency, I fulfilled the girl's request. I carried out the procedure in my mansion and at the same time made Gerda a ring of Moonstone, so that any curious Barbarians would not see what they should not. When she found out what it was for, she was surprised and thanked me profusely.

Of course, it would have been possible not to tell, nothing, but balda-Aki demonstrated everything perfectly. There was no point in denying it. Besides, it is quite possible that Gerda in the future will become one of my supporters in the implementation of the Plan. Strengthening her would be a good investment.

Having finished with one girl, I decided to talk to another. When I caught Aki the next day, I asked her why she was fighting with Gerda. And the funny thing is, I heard almost all the same things I'd heard the day before. The only difference was that instead of the red barbarian, they used expressions like black arrogance, meanness and so on. Catching Aki in my grip, I started rubbing her head with my fist. The girl tried to break free, but realised that she didn't have the strength to do so, and was surprised, but didn't stop resisting until the end of the punishment. Having explained that it was a punishment for using E.G.O. against a left-handed person, I achieved some repentance on the part of the girl. Eventually the girls sort of made up, though it was more like armed neutrality. Well, that's bread.

And a few days later, I was finally able to install the System extension, if you could call it that. Now I could create books from defeated enemies or get the ones from the Library of Ruins game.

Warning. Received the title Librarian I. Enemy books give an increased bonus to the user's stats. The speed of mastering abilities granted by a book increases. The cost of creating books decreases.

Not bad! You can't go without something like this.

- "Yohi, it's about time we created our first book!" - Mentally addressed the AI.- What kind of book do you wish to receive?

- 'The Book of Pluto, Yesterday's Promise,' I said aloud, smiling broadly.

- Copy that.
