Chapter Title: South Blue Afternoon Tea – Six: Hey! Impudent Marines, Who Allowed You to Come Onboard!

Bonney stormed up the stairs, trailing behind Garp, her voice laced with anger. "Garp!" she shouted. Garp remained unfazed, his gaze fixed on the woman sipping tea on the balcony.

As the Battleship offshore unleashed a barrage of cannonballs toward the Kuja Pirates ship docked on the shore, the Baterilla Island Marines, observing from the coast, watched in disbelief.

"Fool, are you trying to use arrows against cannonballs?" One Marine sneered.

But his derision was cut short. His eyes widened in horror as he witnessed the impossible.

Bang!

An arrow, imbued with Armament Haki, collided with a cannonball mid-air, erupting in a brilliant flash of light.

"Impossible..."

The Marines, both onshore and aboard the Battleship, were stunned.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The cannonballs fired from the Battleship were intercepted by a volley of Haki-infused arrows from the Kuja Pirates.

"Fire?" One of the women on the Kuja Pirates ship, wielding a serpent-shaped bow, laughed confidently. "Those things are useless against us!"

"Continue firing!" The Marine officer aboard the Battleship commanded, signaling for another barrage. The Marines, eager to prove their mettle, aimed their long guns at the red Kuja Pirates ship.

"Not good! The ship is surrounded!" A young female warrior on the deck cried out.

"Coordinate with the Battleship fire! Attack together!" The Marines on shore shouted, unleashing a volley of cannonballs.

Bang!

Another wave of cannonballs hurtled towards the pirate ship.

"What do we do?" A young warrior asked anxiously. If they countered the Battleship's fire, the ship would be vulnerable to attack from the shore.

"We're not alone on this ship!" An experienced warrior smiled, patting the young woman on the shoulder. She turned to her comrades, raising her bow. "Sisters! Take care of the Marines on shore! Leave the Battleship to that person's ghost!"

The younger warriors, unfamiliar with Observation Haki, finally realized that Giorno's ghost remained on board.

"You should have said so earlier!"

"If it's that person's ghost, then there's no problem!"

"Let's leave the back to it..."

The Amazon Lily warriors unleashed a barrage of Haki-charged arrows, striking the artillery cannons on shore with pinpoint accuracy. Bang! The cannons exploded, sending Marines scrambling.

Behind them, the sounds of battle intensified as B.I.B., Giorno's ghost, made its move.

Whoosh...

It moved like a phantom, a blur of motion, dodging cannonballs with effortless grace as it raced toward the Battleship.

"Strange..."

The Marine officer aboard the Battleship, peering through his telescope, observed no discernible changes on the Kuja Pirates ship. Then, suddenly, he noticed something.

Pā Dā Pā Dā,

A row of cannonballs flew towards the ship but they vanished as if sliced in two by an invisible blade. They disintegrated into fragments, raining harmlessly down on the deck.

"The cannonballs hit the ship... but there's no effect?" The officer was bewildered. Before he could comprehend the situation, a dark figure materialized beside him, crouching on the railing. The officer's heart leaped into his throat as he turned to face the figure. The glowing eyes of B.I.B. met his own.

Before he could react, the ghost seized him by the neck and hurled him overboard.

"Ah!" The officer screamed as he plunged into the sea, utterly disoriented, convinced it was a prank by one of his own men.

But as he sank beneath the waves, he heard the screams of his fellow Marines, realizing something far more sinister was unfolding.

'Who is it? Who is doing this?!'

The Marines aboard the Battleship were thrown into chaos. They hesitated, unsure of where to aim their weapons. One by one, they collapsed, eyes rolling back, falling into a heap on the deck.

"Look up!" One Marine yelled, pointing towards the sky. A massive crescent-shaped wave of energy was hurtling towards the Battleship.

With a deafening roar, the Battleship was split in two, sinking beneath the waves, creating a maelstrom of chaos.

The Marines in the water could only cry out in disbelief. "What kind of monster are we dealing with?"

But the most terrifying aspect of the attack was that they never even saw their attacker.

In the sky, B.I.B., cloaked in black armor, surveyed the wreckage of the Battleship before turning and flying back towards the Kuja Pirates ship.

City Town:

"It seems to be over," Liam remarked, gazing out at the sea.

B.I.B., being an automatic Stand, lacked real-time communication capabilities without the "headset." Liam rarely wore it, primarily because each missing piece weakened B.I.B.'s overall power.

It could only function at its peak when fully intact, a limitation that became more pronounced as Liam's own strength increased. While a minor loss was negligible at lower power levels, it became increasingly significant as his strength grew.

Still, he could sense B.I.B.'s general location. Since it had likely ventured out to sea, Liam could infer what had transpired.

Robin mused, "The longer we stay in South Blue, the more likely we'll attract the attention of the Marines."

Hancock snorted. "Not necessarily! We just need to make sure they stop chasing us like dogs..."

She glanced at the Marines sprawled across the street, particularly the Marine Rear Admiral lying at Giorno's feet, his face contorted in frustration.

Liam noticed the civilians cautiously emerging from their homes, peering at the scene with a mixture of fear and disbelief.

A few minutes later, as Liam and the Kuja group prepared to depart, the stunned townspeople emerged, gasping as they witnessed the spectacle before them. The Marine officers lay sprawled on the ground, stripped of their clothes, bruised and battered, with pirate graffiti scrawled across their bodies. Phrases like "I am ashamed to be a Marine..." were etched into their skin.

"Ah!" one resident exclaimed, pointing at the Rear Admiral, fear gripping his voice. The others recoiled, retreating back into their homes.

"Rear Admiral...?"

Even the Marines who had been tied up with him were terrified, their faces pale as they saw the writing on his chest.

The Rear Admiral looked down at the words and nearly fainted.

"Celestial Dragons are evil!"

"S-9 Branch declares independence! Overthrow the World Government!"

These pirates had crossed a line. How dare they write such things?

Baterilla island, a certain cemetery:

Bonney arrived hurriedly, glancing over her shoulder to ensure she wasn't being followed.

"I finally escaped..." She sighed, catching her breath.

After regaining her composure, she scanned the cemetery and approached one of the gravestones. She stared at the photo of the woman depicted there.

The woman in the photo had a lovely face, adorned with a few freckles that added a touch of charm. Beneath the photo, the name Portgas D. Rouge was inscribed, along with her birth and death dates.

"Geez..."

Bonney sighed softly, sitting down against the stone. "I wonder where that guy sent Ace... Rouge, do you think he'll remember you?"
