In Fairy Tail, starts with a Super Mega Gengar

Chapter 69: Chapter 69: Fusion Magic, Take Over Magic: Steelix

With the total annihilation of the Burning Flame Guild members, the Gastly and Haunters, who had just fled, swarmed back in.

"Nyahaha!" they laughed, beginning to scour the Guild for valuables.

The advantage of Ghost-types was their ability to phase through walls. One by one, the Gastly dove into the ground and flew out from various places. Their mass plundering left no room for hidden basements; even a mouse hole would be emptied of its grain.

Gengar, wielding a trident, commanded its minions, sorting materials by attribute and piling them in the Guild's main hall.

Useless items were lifted by the Gengars using Psychic Powers and tossed into a Black Hole nearby.

Since the members of the Burning Flame Guild specialized in Fire Magic, many fire-related materials were deemed unnecessary because they had already created the Fire Stone Slab.

These were thrown into the Black Hole, converting them within Gengar's belly into Essence for the System.

The entire Guild's valuable items were amassed into a mountain of treasures under the combined plundering of over a hundred Gastly and Haunters.

Gaal flipped through the Burning Flame Guild's hidden books, amazed at how this seemed more profitable than any heist.

"It's no wonder the Magic Council loves targeting Dark Guilds," he mused.

The entire Dark Guild's wealth was piled into the hall. Regardless of its value, it was pure profit.

Although much of it was ordinary materials, there were still those Gaal hadn't collected before. He sorted through potentially useful items, then sent them all into his space, converting them into Essence to repair the System.

Even though a single repair didn't raise progress by much, the Essence needed to restore the Stone Plate had increased by a percentage of one or two, with some only increasing by 0.1%.

The creation of other plates was still a long journey away.

But there were plenty of Dark Guilds to raid.

Just within the Fiore Kingdom, they had pinpointed seven to eight Dark Guilds yet untouched by the Council. Gaal would need to eliminate them before the Council did to secure his gains.

After a full-force plundering, within half an hour, the entire Burning Flame Guild was stripped to its walls, even the decorative paintings snatched away whether they held value or not.

Gaal instructed Gengar to store the loot in their space while he browsed through the internal bounty notices issued by Grimoire Heart. He curiously handed Gengar a paper: "This is for you."

Gengar accepted it with a puzzled expression, furrowing its brows: "Gaha (What's this?)"

The depiction of Gengar, likely sketched by Zancrow, showed it floating in the air with flaming hands and crimson eyes—a representation of Mega Gengar.

However, the poor artistry made it hard to recognize at first glance. The description, however, was detailed, capturing Gengar's eyes, hair, body, and even its initial form.

This precision allowed the members of the Burning Flame Guild to recognize Gengar immediately. But, since Gengar was illiterate, it couldn't make out the descriptions below and had no idea why Gaal had given it the paper.

Thinking it over, Gengar scratched its head and stuffed the notice into its mouth. Well... it could store it in the space for now.

Gengar then peeked at the notice Gaal held, which it recognized immediately. The notice depicted Gaal, as it was a photograph...

Gaal's notice not only featured his photograph but also listed, in bold red font, the magic he had previously employed:

"Curse Magic."

"Reflector Magic."

"Gravity Magic."

"Space Magic."

"Amplification Magic."

These were all the abilities he had used in battle. However, there was no mention of Time Magic; Hades probably wasn't aware that the time-stopping tools used with Ur came from him.

The descriptions of Gaal's Pokémon were also listed, but since Rustyrose had been taken down by Gaal, Zancrow was the sole survivor, leading to Gengar's separate bounty notice.

Other Pokémon were merely briefly described, lacking in specific details.

After scanning through the bounties, Gaal gathered and stored them. Glancing around, his gaze fell on the ice sculptures in the hall, perhaps the only worthwhile items left for trade.

However, too much hassle.

Gaal raised his right hand, a Magic Staff appearing in his palm. He tapped it on the ground, causing an icy blue Magic Circle to spread, enveloping the entire Guild.

Streams of water appeared from broken rooftops, flowing downward.

The icy blue Magic Circle glowed brightly.

Crack!

Instantaneously, the entire Guild was frozen from the inside out. From afar, it resembled a massive crystal standing upon the earth, with spreading coldness chilling the surrounding air.

If unnoticed, this giant ice crystal, with the aid of residual Magic Power, could persist for about half a year.

Within, the frozen members of the Dark Guild... are disintegrated into fragments by the extreme force of ice.

Six days later.

In the western region of the Fiore Kingdom, within a desolate valley encircled by mountains, a group of mages clad in black robes, their arms bare, arrived with several carts in tow.

The carts bore flags emblazoned with the symbol of the Dark Guild, Crimson Wolf Fang.

Bringing up the rear, a few members of the Crimson Wolf Fang Guild sat atop a cart, complaining:

"Honestly..."

"Is this even necessary?"

"That Gaal Bronths, isn't he just an A-Class Mage?"

"And yet he scared the Guild Master like this."

"Hush—"

"Stop it, speak softly, lest you be overheard."

"I heard it wasn't just because he defeated Master Zancrow."

"Do you know about the Burning Flame Guild?"

"Of course, aren't they our allies?"

"Not anymore."

"The Guild Master got word just two days ago; the Burning Flame Guild has been decimated."

"They say it was Gaal Bronths who did it."

"Hiss—"

"Wiped out?!"

Someone beside them nodded gravely, chiming in:

"That's right, wiped out."

"That guy is a bit suspicious, who knows what devious methods he used."

"He not only defeated Master Zancrow but also took down that Piazzolla."

"We need to be cautious of these Light Guild's sneaky tactics."

Suddenly!

Chaotic commotion erupted at the forefront of the convoy, accompanied by alert wolf howls.

"Enemy attack!!!"

"Enemy attack!!!"

"It's Gaal Brons."

"Damn it! Why us?!"

"Hurry, set up the Demon Summoning Array!"

"Activate the tool to seal the space, watch out for his Space Magic!"

"Deploy the Suppression Magic Circle, now!!!"

In the middle of the dilapidated valley, Gaal stood wearing a black mage robe, watching as the Dark Guild across from him reacted with heightened vigilance.

As the opposite side fortified their defenses, Gaal suddenly felt the surrounding space solidify, his Magic Power compressed somewhat.

However, for Gaal, there was hardly any noticeable impact. After all, his equipment couldn't be so easily stifled by a mere Suppression Magic Circle.

The boon from the Sage's Wrath alone far exceeded the suppression granted by their circle, let alone other equipment.

This revelation came to Gildarts after using the Sage's Wrath and realizing why Gaal was much stronger than other A-Class Mages—primarily due to the enhancements from his gear.

Those several Magic Staffs, each embedded with large Elemental Lacrima, equaled the entire fortune of some small Guilds. How could it not be powerful...

The Guild Master of Crimson Wolf Fang, Barzack, a towering figure nearly two meters tall covered in tattoos, stood by a massive wolf that dwarfed him, standing over two meters high.

From its nearly five-meter height, bright red fur, and crimson fangs, the name of their Guild was apparent.

The Guild members at the rear were each accompanied by red wolves of various sizes.

Even amidst the mounting tension, Gaal, calmly observing their defense mechanism, ignored Barzack's words and instead eyed the towering wolf:

"Quite impressive. You've managed to elevate an average B-Class magical beast, the Red Blood Wolf, to the level of an A-Class beast, even surpassing the typical two-meter height limit. It seems it must have consumed some magical rarity. This giant wolf is sure to fetch plenty of... Essence."

Barzack's expression darkened. Seeing Gaal merrily chat while they hastily triggered various defense mechanisms, he gritted his teeth and whispered to his members: "Prepare for battle. Damn these Light Wizards."

Gaal, meanwhile, waved his hand, summoning a ghostly purple circle.

Gengar emerged, wielding its trident, and upon seeing the array of giant wolves, especially the towering leader, grew excited, swinging its trident: "Gyaah (Skeletal Dragon Strike)!"

Before Gengar stood a multitude of Black Holes, and receiving its command, Gengars, Haunters, and Gastlys merged with numerous Skeletal Dragons.

They surged from the Black Holes overhead, circling above the Crimson Fang packs, fixating on the red wolves below.

The dark guild members, seeing this, turned pale with fear:

"What the hell is this?!"

"Those are Skeletal Dragons, aren't they?!"

"How are these even real? Aren't they just fables told by bards?!"

"How have they appeared in reality!"

"Guild Master, if things get rough, we should retreat!!!"

Barzack, hearing his subordinates, furiously retorted: "What are you afraid of?! These are all fake! Those things lack any real oppression. Did you not notice your adjacent Red Blood Wolves aren't even scared?! Clearly fabricated magical items! Prepare for battle!"

As a beast-manipulating mage, Barzack had the keenest sense of aura. Initially startled by the appearance of the Skeletal Dragons, he quickly realized the lack of any true draconic aura.

They certainly must be crafted magical tools, all illusions.

Barzack sneered at Gaal, his voice dripping with disdain:"You nearly fooled me. But you messed with the wrong person. As a mage who manipulates magical beasts, my sensitivity to aura is unmatched."

"Your Skeletal Dragons might trick others, but they won't fool me!"

With a confident roar, Barzack shouted:"Fusion Magic: Crimson Blood Giant Wolfman!"

Barzack's body glowed with blood-red light, merging into the colossal Red Blood Giant Wolf.

The wolf itself began to emanate red light, standing upright as it transformed into a towering, ten-meter-tall monstrous werewolf, its red eyes glaring at Gaal, baring its fangs:

"Gaal Bronths!"

"Prepare to die!"

The thunderous voice belonged to Barzack. The upright monstrous werewolf with magic-pulsing hands lunged at Gaal.

Unflinching, Gaal observed the advancing gigantic scarlet werewolf. As the immense paws descended upon him, his expression remained unchanged:

"Take Over Magic: Steelix."

In a flash of light, the ground shook with a thunderous impact. The crimson werewolf reeled back in surprise, sparks flying as pain radiated from where its paw had struck.

Smoke gradually cleared to reveal a steely figure: a nearly thirty-meter-tall Steelix, its cold, emotionless gaze piercing through to the scarlet werewolf across the valley.
