In Harry Potter World As Madara Uchiha

Chapter 3: Chapter 3

The Forbidden Forest stretched endlessly around him, the thick canopy allowing only slivers of moonlight to pierce through. The air carried a damp, earthy scent, and distant howls echoed in the night. Madara—no, the man who now wore his identity—moved silently, his heightened senses picking up every subtle sound around him. This world was different from the shinobi realm, yet the energy within him remained potent.

His mind raced through the information he had gathered from Avery. He was near Hogwarts, a place of knowledge and power. The wizard had confirmed that Voldemort had already fallen, placing him somewhere in the post-war era. That meant the wizarding world had stabilized, but shadows of the past still lingered. Death Eaters would either be in hiding or attempting to rebuild in secret.

Madara's fingers curled slightly as he walked. That encounter had been illuminating. The wizards of this world relied heavily on their wands, their magic requiring an external focus. It was a weakness, a limitation he could exploit. But if he were to master this world's magic himself, he would need to learn its intricacies. Chakra and magic were not the same, but there were parallels—energies that, if manipulated properly, could merge into something far greater.

[Quest Updated: Discover Your Purpose]

You have learned your location and era. Now, seek a path forward.

Madara narrowed his eyes at the floating text. This 'system' that guided him seemed determined to push him toward action. Power came naturally to him, but to what end? He would need knowledge, resources, and allies—though the last was questionable. Trust was a currency he had spent sparingly in his previous life.

He considered his options. The most obvious was Hogwarts itself. It housed the most skilled wizards and an enormous wealth of magical knowledge. However, barging in without a plan would be reckless. He needed to understand magic—how it worked, how it differed from chakra, and how it could be used to his advantage.

His Sharingan spun lazily as he walked, analyzing the unfamiliar flow of magic in the air. Magic was fluid, almost chaotic, whereas chakra followed an internal discipline. He stretched his hand forward, gathering his chakra and attempting to mold it into something akin to magic. The result was raw energy crackling at his fingertips before fizzling out.

"Not quite the same," he muttered to himself. He would need a wand. Magic here relied on it as a conduit, much like seals and hand signs channeled chakra in his old world.

A movement in the distance drew his attention. His eyes snapped to the source—two robed figures moving cautiously through the forest. Wizards. From their cautious glances and drawn wands, they were on alert, likely searching for someone—perhaps Avery, who had fled in fear after their encounter.

Madara moved with ghostly silence, positioning himself behind a tree as he listened.

"I'm telling you, something unnatural is here," one of them whispered.

"You're paranoid," the other scoffed. "Avery sent a distress signal, but when he didn't respond, the Ministry assumed it was nothing serious. If they really thought it was a major threat, we'd have Aurors swarming this place."

The first wizard sighed. "Fine. Let's just confirm the area and leave."

Madara made his decision. These two would provide what he needed—information and a wand.

Without hesitation, he stepped into the clearing. The moment they saw him, their wands shot up in alarm. "Who goes there?"

Madara moved before they could act. A burst of speed, a flicker of motion—and he was already upon them. His Sharingan flared, trapping one in a genjutsu instantly. The wizard's body froze, eyes glazed over in an illusionary nightmare. The second one managed to get off a spell, but Madara sidestepped it with ease, appearing behind him and gripping his wrist with inhuman strength.

"Drop it," he commanded, and the wizard's wand clattered to the ground. Madara kicked it away before tightening his grip. "Now, you're going to answer my questions."

The wizard struggled, but the effort was futile. "W-Who are you?!"

"Wrong answer." Madara applied pressure, making the wizard groan in pain. "Where do you store magical artifacts? Wands, books—things of power?"

"Hogwarts—Diagon Alley—the Ministry!" the wizard gasped. "P-Please! I'm just a scout!"

Madara pondered the information. The Ministry controlled magical regulation, but Diagon Alley housed magical supplies freely available for purchase. It would be the easiest place to acquire what he needed.

With a swift motion, he released the wizard and struck his neck, knocking him unconscious. He turned to the other, still trapped in his genjutsu, and did the same.

[Quest Updated: Acquire Magical Knowledge]

You have learned of Diagon Alley. Seek it out and claim what you need.

Madara looked at the wand on the ground. He picked it up, feeling the strange warmth radiating from it. It was different from channeling chakra, but he could sense the potential within. With practice, he would master it, just as he had mastered all things before.

The path ahead was becoming clearer. He would enter the wizarding world—not as a wandering shinobi, but as something greater. Hogwarts, the Ministry, the Death Eaters, and the Order—he would learn their ways, their weaknesses, and their strengths.

A smirk played at his lips. The world of magic had no idea what it had just welcomed.

And he intended to make his presence known.
