In Naruto Trying to become a Saiyan from Kumogakure

Chapter 68: Ch 68. Life Return x Cells

As Ron walked toward his home, he appeared to be hopping along the path like an excited child. However, he was not merely hopping, he was attempting to stand on air with each step. Some might assume he was trying to replicate the Moon-Step from the world of One Piece, but that was not the case.

In reality, Ron was training his chakra. While organizing ninjutsu for the village, he frequently met with Elite Jonin and trained alongside his father and brother. These interactions naturally led to discussions about various aspects of shinobi training, including ninjutsu, taijutsu, and different chakra control training methods.

During one such discussion, Ron inquired about advanced chakra control techniques. While his chakra control was already exceptional, thanks to his extraordinarily strong soul, this also meant his chakra was highly malleable and easily manipulated. His immense intellect, seemingly without the drawbacks often associated with high IQ individuals, granted him unparalleled control and adaptation over his body and coordination. This mastery became even more apparent as he delved into Yang Release and developed a technique known as Life Return.

Life Return was a skill that allowed control over the body's functions. Mastering it required expertise in taijutsu, profound knowledge of the human body, and a high-level understanding of Yang Release. It was similar to the practice of tempering the body with lightning, except it focused on refining the body through Yang-natured chakra. While this description outlined the core principles of the technique, in reality, mastering it was a complex process demanding rigorous training and deep comprehension of the body's inner workings.

By training in Life Return, one could progressively enhance their control over specific body functions. This technique allowed a practitioner to exceed the body's natural limitations and regulate internal processes with remarkable precision. Some of its practical applications included enhancing digestion to absorb more nutrients efficiently, boosting blood circulation for greater strength and endurance, accelerating toxin filtration to neutralize poisons more effectively, improving wound healing by consciously directing nutrients and blood flow to the injured area.

At higher levels of mastery, a user could even manipulate their body to prevent excessive bleeding. For example, if they suffered a deep cut, they could force the wound to remain closed, much like how surgeons use sutures or medical staples. By increasing localized blood flow and directing healing resources, they could recover from minor lacerations/Cuts within hours. In extreme cases, such as losing a limb, they could contract their muscles and skin to seal the wound, preventing fatal blood loss, functionally mimicking an emergency amputation seal.

Mastering Life Return, however, required significant time and effort. Most practitioners would initially focus on specific aspects of their body, such as muscle control, hair manipulation, or limb enhancement. However, for those already adept in Lightning Release Chakra Mode, the process was significantly easier due to their refined bodily control and experience with enhancing physical attributes using chakra.

As of now, Ron had fully mastered Life Return, granting him complete control over his bodily functions and organs. Recognizing its potential, he had classified it as an S-rank auxiliary technique and included it in Kumogakure's Forbidden Technique list, which he added the previous year. This list contained various high-level and specialized jutsu, and Life Return was among the techniques, which the village made accessible to Jonin and above at a reduced cost due to its supportive nature.

Despite being an S-rank technique, only a few had mastered Life Return, not to mention to the level of Ron, which required mastering it to the full extent. The Third Raikage was the only one who had done so, thanks to his immense physical talent and natural affinity for both Yin and Yang Release.

Yang Release represented vitality and physical prowess, a trait dominant in the Raikage lineage, while Yin Release played a crucial role in the defensive properties of the Lightning Chakra Mode's advanced lightning armor. Given these factors, the Third Raikage had an innate advantage in mastering Life Return.

At one point, Ron considered whether Life Return could grant control over individual cells. However, he ultimately dismissed the idea. Even with his extraordinary capabilities, Life Return functioned more as a broad-spectrum control technique rather than one enabling microscopic manipulation. Controlling an individual muscle fiber out of thousands in a single arm was already an immense challenge, attempting to manipulate trillions of cells independently was an impossibility. Not to mention that was for normal Humans, ninjas, especially strong ninjas, and those with bloodline limits had countless times more than the normal amount. In Ron's assessment, controlling every human in the world through genjutsu seemed more feasible than exerting direct control over each of his cells.
