In One Piece, I Am the Ultimate Doflamingo

Chapter 109: Chapter 109: What Was It You Wanted to Feel?

...

A crescent moon rose into the sky. Blue light cascaded down onto the battlefield.

"Now this is getting interesting, kid."

Kaido's dragon-scaled mouth curled into a grin, making his already fearsome expression even more menacing. With his massive oni horns seemingly piercing the heavens and the surrounding ruins adding to the apocalyptic scene, he looked like a demon straight out of hell.

The black and red lightning surging around the Hassaikai condensed further. This wasn't a sign of Kaido's Conqueror's Haki weakening—it was proof of his mastery over it, refining its control to a new level.

With a sudden bend of his knees, the ground beneath him exploded. His massive frame vanished from sight.

Dark clouds moved in, obscuring the moonlight.

"Armament: Infinite Cannon!"

Enel and Katakuri—both wielders of supreme Observation Haki—felt their hearts jolt.

"Whirr!"

A concentrated laser shot from the chest of the String War Titan, aiming straight at Kaido's incoming form.

"Eight Trigrams!"

Ignoring the searing pain in his chest, Kaido brought the Hassaikai down on Doflamingo's head once more.

"BOOM!!!"

The laser exploded against Kaido's chest.

Light!

An explosion of dazzling brilliance burst forth.

It was as if a second sun had risen over Whole Cake Island.

Winds howled wildly, and the deafening roar of the explosion filled the skies.

"W-What the hell is this, Perorin?!" Perospero's voice cracked with disbelief.

Katakuri, rather than answering, stared down at his own Armament-coated hands.

"It's similar to Mama's Roaring Light Cannon... Is it really possible to push Armament Haki to this level of destruction?"

Seeing the confusion on the faces of her sons, Big Mom let out a cackle.

"Mamamama! Foolish children, this is external Armament Haki!"

...

"Oho, what a sight to behold. Moria, what did it feel like?" Enel nudged the dumbstruck Moria beside him.

Receiving no response, he casually sent a jolt of electricity his way.

The battle-obsessed Moria flinched violently, baring his sharp teeth as he turned.

"Damn it! What the hell was that for?!"

Enel feigned innocence. "Just curious about how it felt at the time."

"Are you picking a fight with me?!"

...

At the battlefield's center, the form of the String War Titan dissolved, unraveling into strands of candy and soil.

"Damn, that hurt! My brain feels like it's about to shatter."

A trembling tendril pushed Doflamingo's body upright.

As for why he wasn't standing on his own—his head had temporarily lost control over his body.

"So this is why Rosinante kept collapsing back then... No wonder he always said it felt like his brain short-circuited. Good thing my regeneration is much stronger now."

"Ohohoho, kid, looks like this is your limit."

Kaido's towering frame emerged from the smoke, his gaze locked onto Doflamingo, overflowing with admiration.

Not even his top men—Queen or King, both Ancient Zoans with monstrous durability—could have recovered this quickly after taking his Thunder Bagua head-on.

Yet this brat, a mere Paramecia user, had the sheer resilience to bounce back so swiftly.

"Kukukukuku!"

Rolling his shoulders, feeling his renewed vitality surge through his veins, Doflamingo straightened up.

"Fufufufufu! How could I stop now?"

Armament Haki was the fusion of willpower and physical endurance. Thanks to his natural talent, he had been able to tap into it with minimal training. However, mastering its control required more than just sheer will—it demanded technique.

Conqueror's Haki, on the other hand, was a different beast entirely. It was the power to impose one's will upon reality itself, the embodiment of one's spirit.

And its mastery required an indomitable will.

His past battles had all been one-sided massacres, relying on external factors to secure victory. Only when facing Big Mom's Roaring Light Cannon or Sengoku's Haki-infused palm strike had he truly brushed against the threshold of death.

His will had never been sharpened enough—until now.

But with an immortal body, he was like an unrefined piece of iron, waiting to be forged in battle.

If once wasn't enough, then he'd be hammered a hundred times.

The white earth beneath him trembled.

Figures began emerging all around him.

From the sky, it looked as if countless warriors were rising from the ground, with Doflamingo at the center.

"This cheap trick? It won't work on me! You think you can insult me, brat?!"

Kaido roared in fury as black-red lightning crackled wildly around the Hassaikai.

"You misunderstand, Kaido-san. This is the highest form of respect I can show you! Demon Form: Synchronization!"

Doflamingo's body erupted into strings, merging into his massive war titan construct.

Unlike before, where he merely stood within its core like a pilot in a machine—

This time, his mind and body had fully fused with it.

A true, seamless unity.

The war titan, towering over a hundred meters, loomed over the battlefield.

From the distant Singing Ship on the ocean, its sheer size was visible.

"This is absurd! Even the Ancient Giants aren't that big!"

"It's like something out of mythology!"

...

Sitting on the ship's railing, Smoothie gazed at the colossal war titan, eyes filled with admiration.

That was her future husband.

"Fufufufufu! Kaido-san, can you withstand this level of power?!"

Thunder rumbled across the island as Doflamingo raised a pillar-like leg, wrapped in Haki, and brought it crashing down.

Even Ancient Giants looked like children before his newfound size.

In this world, only freaks like Sanjuan Wolf could compare.

His foot alone was as large as Kaido's entire body.

The devastating force slammed into Kaido's Hassaikai.

"BOOM!!!"

Black-red lightning exploded outward, shaking the heavens.

"BAM!"

For the first time—Kaido was sent flying.

"Impossible! This can't be real!" King rubbed his eyes in disbelief.

"Ooooooh! Young Master is incredible!" Enel cheered, while Moria's face darkened.

Perospero, questioning everything, muttered, "This brat is this strong? Maybe we really don't need to scheme against him, perorin..."

...

Doflamingo's shattered foot quickly regenerated.

Again!

Bending his knees, he launched himself forward. Whole Cake Island trembled under the impact.

Amidst the shower of rubble, he caught up to Kaido.

Clasping his fists together, he swung down.

"BOOM!!!"

Kaido crashed into the ground.

"We're not done yet, Kaido-san! Show me your Conqueror's Haki!"

Enormous fists sprouted spikes as they continued their relentless barrage.

"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!!!"

"BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM!!!"

Blood dripped from Kaido's dragon-scaled body, old wounds reopening.

Yet he was grinning.

"Uororororo! You really underestimate me!"

A dragon soared to the heavens!

"ROOOOAR!!!"

Storm clouds gathered. Thunder roared. The heavens wept in fury.

"Tch! Everyone and their mother can use lightning now?!" Enel scowled, glancing at Big Mom, Virgo, and the dragon commanding the storm above.

High above, Kaido stood upon his flame clouds, shifting back to his hybrid form.

"What was it you wanted to feel again?"

"Conqueror's Haki!" Doflamingo roared.

Kaido grinned savagely.

"Then let me show you what it really feels like!"

Black lightning and divine thunder fused into the Hassaikai.

"Don't die, brat!!!"

Kaido dived, a fiery comet crashing from the heavens.

"LIKE HELL I'D FALL HERE!!!"

Doflamingo lunged upward, the ground shattering beneath him.

His right fist, shrouded in Haki, blurred with raw power.

Conqueror's Haki crackled at its core.

Fists collided.

"Divine Execution!!!"

"Great Vajra Thunder Bagua!!!"
