Chapter 103: Leave None Alive
[So, do you better understand the 4th Idle Benefit now? Contrary to the subtle 3rd Idle Benefit of Skill Fusion, it is definitely more extravagant, no?]
"...Yes," replied Cassius, his voice failing to fully conceal his awe. "This Idle Benefit will certainly change a lot of things, but the question still persists: how do I go about unlocking this Idle Benefit?"
Answering his question, the Idle Evolution System said, [You just need to complete Main Quest #5, which will appear soon after Main Quest #4 is completed. One of the rewards for completing Main Quest #5 is the 4th Idle Benefit.]
"I see…"
Cassius speculated just what sort of Quest would follow up something at the A+ Rank, eventually leading him to only one conclusion. "This Main Quest 5… It will be of the S-Rank, won't it…?"
[That is highly possible!]
"Hmm…"
He wondered if he would be appropriately powerful enough to take on a threat at that level so soon. With his current strength, it was all but impossible. However, it was hard to say for certain if that would still be the case after completing Main Quest #4 and a couple more Side Quests. Add on a number of Yellow and Red-Rank Gates, and he might just be able to touch upon the S-Rank.
Yet, with little to nothing known about the S-Rank, Cassius had no idea how high his stats needed to be to pass into the rank. Not a single thing online was reliable in that regard, with most just rough guesses.
In other words, he was in the dark from here on out.
"Past the 1000 stat mark for A-Rank, I have no clue where everything scales," commented Cassius.
He was honestly not all that bothered by this information.
Even if he was unable to compare their strength to his through sheer stats, he could still approximate their power from their colored danger ratings.
Nevertheless, for now, acquiring more stats and seeing how far he could go was all he could do.
*Mhphh!* *Mhphh!*
Hearing a funny sound from in front of him, Cassius turned to look at the Evomon. They appeared to be agitated about something, with even Nyxvoldar and Lilith acting up a little.
Curious, he swiveled his head around to his backside, only to see where the problem lay.
For dozens of miles, Demons, large and small, trampled through the deserted dystopian cityscape. They barbarically roared to the top of their lungs while destroying everything in their paths, not even sparing the weaker among their own kind.
To Cassius, they were savage beasts.
"Well, considering the environment we're in right now, their behavior is to be expected," he muttered, his striking blue eyes analyzing their forces at a deeper level. "Around… 30,000 Lesser Demons, 400 Intermediate Demons, and 5 Greater Demons. Yet, even with such immense numbers, I feel like this isn't even a small portion of the total Demon forces in this Trial Gate area of the 1st Floor."
Cassius really had no idea how deep the waters of HELL actually were, but he knew that more Demons meant more strength to be gained. And for him, that was what mattered most.
Shifting his emotionless gaze back to the Evomons, he spoke up in a cold, husky voice. "Go. Go and kill them all."
"Do not worry about getting hurt. Do not worry about dying. Do not worry about anything other than the deaths of all who breathe—of all who bleed red."
"Leave none alive."
OOOM!!!
The Evomons erupted forth with massive amounts of shadowy power!

Altogether, their auras nearly matched that of an A- Rank Awakener, yet they still fell short of the 5 Greater Demons, all of whom stood at the very pinnacle of the B++ Rank. In terms of stats, all of them had Attributes in the 980-990 range.
Pointing at their massive nightmarish figures in the distance, Cassius ordered, "Those ones are mine."
With that, he vanished from his spot.
While in the speed stream, Lilith glowed a crimson glow and unwrapped herself from the right side of her body. Then she took her form as a person-sized Eastern-style katana.
Lobbing her over his shoulder, Cassius asked, "Do you want to end this quickly?"
Lilith gave no concrete vibration in response, as she seemed to be torn between the two options she had here. Which, in the end, led to her Master deciding for her.
"Quick it is," he declared as he called for Nyxvoldar, who quickly flew toward him and fused with his body, resulting in a complete makeover.
From mysterious hooded man to half-beast half-monster, his transformation was a drastic one. And surprisingly enough, the Newbie 5 Equipment Set adjusted with his transformation, same with Newbie 5 Training Sword, which became a bit bigger to match his form.
Feeling the weight covering his body briefly shift places gave Cassius a good idea for how to get this shit show started.
While high up in the smoke-filled skies of HELL, a crackling shadowy figure holding a massive katana soared through the clouds formed from blood. He crossed insane distances while making use of his insane physical prowess to defy gravity, almost like a certain Muscle Mage.
In mere moments, Cassius gapped the entire high-level Demon Horde. The 5 colossal Demons were now within range, and it was time to really get the party started.
"Kowabunga, anyone?" asked Cassius, his lips curved up into a conniving smirk. "No? Well, I guess I will have to go first."
With that, he suddenly changed trajectory and bounced off a piece of the sky like there was something physical there. Then, with an ear-deafening explosion that rang out in the dug-in ear holes of all demons in the vicinity, his figure blasted downward.
A howling whistle followed immediately after the explosion. Wind rings rolled out in all directions, with glass windows shattering in rapid succession.
It was almost as if a Nuclear Bomb had just touched base with the surface…
And when Cassius did finally make contact with the land below, it might as well have been the same as the collision of an Atomic Bomb.
He wasn't currently regulating the weight of his Newbie 5 Equipment Set… And just this alone caused him to descend like the Grand Javelin of Heaven!
