Infinite Evolution: My Idle Evolution System

Chapter 144: The Seven Dimensions of the Ascension Tower

Interrupting Cassius's thoughts was the…System.

[Dear Host! Why did you leave your beloved System hanging back there?? How could you leave such a cutie patootie like myself all by my lonesome, you evil Host!? (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ]

An illusory blue and golden screen circled around the man trying his best to look anywhere but where it was. Eventually, however, it backed him into a corner and pushed him against a high stacked pile of snow.

Cassius assumed he was about to be taken advantage of, but then the System did something unexpected.

It blushed.

"???" 'This isn't like the sh*tty System—'

[Ahh, you dirty, dirty Host~ Even if you seduce my non-carbon components with your big naughty hands, you won't receive any lenience. But if you…do a good job with your strong muscles and really get it in there good, I'll make an exception and send you to the System-Host Exclusive Torture Chamber~]

'Now this is the System I know and hate…'

Cassius promptly ignored the mentally impaired System and thought more on the subject of other Dimensions and the Ascension Tower of Humanity. But it was in that same moment that the Idle Evolution System spoke up again:

[I was going to tell you either way, you obtuse of a Host, limp d*ck, noodle arm, virgin boy on the path to Supreme Sagehood! Why must you be so impatient!? Patience is a virtue! To instill that virtue into your very soul, do you wish to take a friendly visit to the Torture Chamber? First visit's free—]

"Leave me alone," Cassius said before vanishing into the speed stream.

FWIP!

When he reappeared a second later, he was on the other side of the world, somewhere in Greece. And as he walked through the marbled uphill streets of a scenic area overlooking the sea, he realized that he wouldn't get away so easily.

*Ding!*

[The System is only here to help you, Dear Host! Let me guess… Ahh, is that what this is about? If you wanted to have makeup sex, then you should've just said so! All you have to do is stick your wee little willy into say~ a fire hydrant and I, the System, will take care of the rest!]

[Though, I doubt I'll feel anything… "૮₍ ˶•⤙•˶ ₎ა]

"..."

Cassius was speechless.

When it came to the Idle Evolution System, he really didn't know what sort of handicapped-in-the-brain sort of person decided to bestow upon him such sh*t. Could he not receive a refund?? A newer model? Literally anything else!?

A great big sigh echoed through the bustling streets of a large city in Greece. It was early morning here, so the blazing sun rays beat down on a wide array of foreign faces. One face in particular felt the headaches affecting his expression. And with what felt like a stab to the gut, the owner of that face let the System explain to him the general rundown of the Dimensions and the Ascension Tower. It also made sure to mention that, although this information wasn't privy to someone like him a month ago, he had now gained basic access to such secrets.

According to the Idle Evolution System, there were a total of Seven Parallel Dimensions in a magical existence called the 'Ascension Tower.'

The Ascension Tower had a few other names, all more complicated than the last, but the main point was that this Ascension Tower housed several nearly identical Dimensions. Or, at least, they were identical at the beginning of the Ascension Tower's creation. However, over time, all 7 of the Dimensions changed, becoming indistinguishable from how they were before.

The 1st Dimension—the Mortal Dimension— was part of the Ascension Tower of Humanity. And from the astounding words of the System, Earth was nothing but the Trial Area for the True Ascension Tower of Humanity, similar in design to the Trial Area of HELL.

This information altered Cassius's entire worldview, shattering everything he once believed. Though, there was one big question he couldn't seem to wrap his head around.

"Where does the Universe, or the Observable Universe of our Earth, have a part to play in all this?"

[Warning!] [Warning!] [Warning!]

[The Host is ten leagues too weak to be made privy to such high-level information!]

"...Not high enough…?"

With all of his various Skills, Techniques, and raw stats thrown into the mix, Cassius was sure that his Battle Power far exceeded the S+ Rank Yimin. Yet, even with that in mind, he was essentially told by the System that gaining access to this information might as well have been a pipe dream.

This made him wonder just how powerful he had to become to learn the truth of it all.

But regardless of the mystery regarding the stars and the observable universe encompassing planet Earth, Cassius attentively listened to the rest of what the System had to say.

With Earth being the Trial Area of the Ascension Tower of Humanity, there were naturally Floors above it, just like with the Ascension Tower of HELL. However, when Cassius asked about how to get up to the higher Floors of the Ascension Tower of Humanity—his Ascension Tower— it said nothing more than forceful elevation would arrive whenever he achieved the SS-Rank in terms of pure stats. In other words, he could still stay on Earth even if his Combat Power exceeded the S-Rank.

The System didn't go into great detail about the higher Floors of the Ascension Tower of Humanity, but it did speak of there being Seven Floors. Similarly, the Ascension Tower of HELL also had Seven Floors. In fact, every single one of the 7 Ascension Tower Dimensions had Seven Floors. They all also had their own Trial Areas, which acted as the tutorial grounds for most races in the Ascension Tower Spectrum.

Humans were the only race of people to not develop a way to become stronger or extend their lifespans. Unlike some races, such as the Succubus race of the Realm of Pleasure, who passed on special techniques to their descendants that allowed them to suck yang to become stronger, Humanity had nothing.

They had no racial advantages and specialized in jack diddly squat.
