All the other people dressed in black were too distracted by what happened to Corra to realize that someone had saved her before it no longer mattered.

"Let's go," said Cassius, his voice inaudible under the beating of the rain and the thundering of lightning.

All of the silent women nodded their heads before following along behind him. He wasn't moving very fast; in fact, he was trudging forward slowly, so they all caught up and descended the hill together.

Sasha, Aya, Stella, Hellion, Grace, and even Bella had all joined him today. Only Yimin was still lost. And although the girls would normally be in quite the chipper moods, none seemed the least bit happy right now. Hellion was the only one to appear unbothered by everything; she was the same as always, calm and calculative.

For the other girls, however, when Cassius was acting like this, they would as well. Something about him felt different today, and even the usually flirty and sinister mind of Bella was as quiet as a church hill. She simply tagged along beside him, same as the others.

The day ended uneventfully. The next day was no different. Everyone in the Steele household hadn't spoken much these last couple of days. Even with Bella and Grace staying over, the hours went on without event.

It was only on the third day that Cassius finally left his meditation and exited his room on the mansion's third floor. The other residents of the home obviously noticed this occurrence and stopped what they were doing to approach him.

Considering that he had been nonstop meditating and cultivating the Demon Dragon Integration Arts these past 48 hours, it took Cassius a couple of seconds to return to reality and notice the nervous girls standing before him. Confused, he asked, "Bella and Grace? Why are you two here?"

"???" "???"

Both Bella and Grace exchanged glances before bitterly sighing. It was made abundantly clear that Cassius had been completely out of it since learning of the Branch Master's death. Only now did he appear to have a little clarity in his eyes.

After taking the time to explain how they wound up there, Grace cupped one hand and Bella cupped the other. "You can rely on other people, Cassius. You don't need to keep everything to yourself all the time—" they said in sync while brightly smiling, yet swiveled their heads toward each other when they realized someone was talking over them.

"What are you doing?" Bella asked while secretly eyeing the dainty hand holding onto her husband's other hand. 'This fcking b*tch… I'll kill her!' In spite of her dangerous thoughts, she was still smiling.

However, even though Grace sensed something off about this girl she barely knew, she didn't back down. In fact, she even took things a step further and pulled Cassius's right hand to her ample chest, then turned her smug face away from the seething Bella, where her expression then transformed into one that could melt the heart of any man.

"Does this make you feel better…?" she asked as she pressed his right hand further into her squishy breasts. "You must tell me when you are uncomfortable, Cassius. I'll do this every time if you so wish…"

'Hmm?' Cassius looked between the two girls, feeling a tension that created sparks between them. He also noticed more surging emotions pop up from behind Bella and Grace. 'Is everyone ovulating right now or something? I know I've been out of it for a while, but not that much time has passed, has it…?'

He kept track of their cycles so as to avoid potential disasters. And he was positive they were still half a month away from the ovulation cycles for most of them.

As Cassius pondered something unusual with a straight face, Bella's forehead scrunched, with veins appearing everywhere. She bit her lips, trying her best to suppress her immense anger.

If not for Cassius breaking through the silence, she might have flipped her lid and ruined all the plans she had for tomorrow. As for what he said, it went as such:

"I guess we missed my birthday, which was like… yesterday, I think? I don't really care about things like that, but I assume other people like going to special events like this?"

"Are you asking us if we want to go out somewhere today?" Sasha asked with a bit of concealed excitement.

Cassius nodded.

"Well, isn't the answer already obvious then!?" said Aya, her pupils showing visions of sweets and good food.

Even Grace was finding it hard to hide her enthusiasm. She sensually rubbed her supple thighs, yet to no avail. She was still… horny for dessert…

Bella, in all her hate for every single one of the women here, seemed to completely forget about everything when dessert was mentioned. She immediately let go of Cassius's left hand and walked straight up to him, then leaned up on her tippy toes and got her face less than a few inches away from his.

"We. Are. Going."

It wasn't even up for debate in Bella's mind. Cassius received the message loud and clear, and also realized that everyone besides Hellion was anticipating the places he'd bring them as well.

"...Then I guess we're going," Cassius sighed helplessly before walking past the girls jittering in excitement and down a flight of marble stairs.

While the others took a moment to drool over the goodies they would soon devour, Hellion took the chance to walk beside Cassius and discuss something important.

"Master, you'll need to re-enter HELL within the next few months. If you do not, then you'll be stripped of your Demon King Bloodline. You surely understand what I'm referring to, right?"
