"I will handle it all, Grace," Cassius said with a small smile as he turned around and began to walk away. "Just hold on until I return with the Tear of Yggdrasil. It shouldn't take very long."

"W-Wait, Cassius, you can't! It's too dangerous!" Grace, still trying to comprehend the insanities he was spouting, sped up toward his receding figure.

When she just about caught up, she sputtered, "I… I have already come to terms with my destiny… But you can't go to the World Tree's Sanctuary! You have no idea just how unbelievably powerful the participants are going to be! As long as you aren't the oldest ancestors of a Dimension, you can participate, which means there are virtually no age or power restrictions! Even SSS-Rank Hegemonies will be—"

Cassius disappeared, then reappeared behind the frantically chasing Grace. He tugged at both sides of her thin waist and pulled her into his arms.

Whispering into her reddened ears, he said, "Who told you I was doing this just for you? I have personal reasons for wanting to go to the World Tree's Sanctuary. Your matter is simply speeding up what I planned to do to begin with."

"B-But—"

"There's no more buts, my dear," Cassius whispered as he lightly tickled her sides, causing her to burst out laughing.

"???" "???" "???"

Those dining at fancy diner tables nearby turned to look at Grace, prompting a crimson blush to form on her exquisite face. It was also then that she realized she had been bamboozled; Cassius was already gone.

Her cheeks puffed up as she scampered back to their table in shame.

'That man… He's so insufferable…' she 'angrily' thought, an imperceptible grin adorning her beautiful features.

For the remainder of the night, Grace huffed and crossed her arms every time Cassius looked her way, yet still managed to spend her time quite enjoyably. Excluding the occasional sickly coughs, she seemed just as happy as the other girls.

Then the night eventually came to a close…

—The very next morning, in the Steele Mansion—

Cassius struggled to get up, quickly realizing that it was not his Newbie 8 Equipment Set weighing him down so heavily. Neither was it his lovely Lilith tattoo nor the Newbie 8 Training Sword.

'Some things just never change,' he thought with a sigh.

Looking around himself, he saw several bountiful womanly figures sprawled out on top of him. All of the beautiful bodies were scarcely covered by risque nightwear, with none of their owners feeling the least bit shameful about partially revealing themselves to a singular man. A man who, even now, was being mentally abused by the Entity calling itself the Idle Evolution System.

Cassius naturally ignored the System's nonsense, treating it as if it were less than thin air.

However, at this point, the System's emoticon twisted a bit in anger as it threw something completely unexpected his way.

After a brief period of hush, Cassius shook his head in defeat and worked toward slipping out of the girls piled on top of him. After successfully accomplishing this, he regulated his Newbie 8 Equipment Set before walking over to a stylishly decorated wooden katana in a corner of the room. It was standing on top of a special A-Rank item that he bought a few days ago.

The item had the sole effect of voiding all weight that came into contact with it, and the upper weight limit was said to be around that of a planet's mass.

The A-Rank item was called the 'Physical Negator,' and it was typically used by powerful Tanks who were accustomed to taking heavy hits. Of course, the thing wasn't invincible, as the force of the strikes against it would still be felt by the one holding its shield-like structure.

However, this rule did not apply if no living organism was actually holding the shield…

And just like that, an A-Rank item worth tens of millions was bought by Cassius on the black market, only to be used as a plate to hold a wooden sword that weighed more than entire cities.

*Clack…*

When Cassius went to grab and lift up the Newbie 8 Training Sword, it nearly felt like the force rippling through the Physical Negator would demolish all of Hoshito. But luckily for any Real Estate Agencies in the area, that did not happen. And when the wielder of this sword strapped it to his muscular back, all seemed to return to normal.

'It surely won't be long before I'm no longer able to contain the weight of this heavy thing without the assistance of some divine item…'

Cassius sighed before sauntering away from the girls snuggled up on his bed, all of whom seemed to be attempting to absorb his lingering warmth. He counted the heads and realized that almost everyone, even Sasha, was there. The only ones not sleeping there were the Egyptian beauty casually waiting for him downstairs and the silver-haired dragon who was presently who the f*ck knows where.

After silently leaving his room and descending a flight of marble stairs, Cassius caught a glimpse of a fancy alarm clock hanging on a wall. The alarm clock read [04:48].
