_______________
William read his new status and let out a sigh. It took him five years to reach this point where he was sure his strength was extraordinary. Well not completely OP as there were many people in this world that could kill him but in his age range, not a chance.
He didn't show such level of strength to anyone, anyone he didn't have trust in that is. There were way too few he trusted… especially with matters of himself.
But now, he at least had the power to defend himself and actually act like a true master.
The door to the room he was in, abruptly opened up, revealing his real grandfather, Wilfred Halbeck. Willfred took in the sight of his strangest grandson who was adorned in a ceremonial white suit and pants. His undershirt a deep color of gold. Finally, to end his figure, a pin to the chest which resembled a large red 'T'.
In a short term, he was dressed ceremonially.
"They are ready for you."
William ignored his grandfather's rudeness and nodded, "I'll be there in a sec."
Willfred turned and went to close the door but stopped at the end and looked back at his grandson, "… You sure you want to do this?" There was a deep sense of regret in his voice.
William turned around and gave him a confident look. "This is what I wanted for the past eight years."
Willfred nodded and closed the door, leaving William to himself. William on the other hand, understood his grandfather's concerns but dispelled the thought as he looked at his figure in the mirror.
He now stood at 6.4, a great figure for someone like him. He was still smaller than Willfred but that guy was a maniac… now that he thought about it, he was a bigger maniac than him. Always trying to become stronger than the yesterday him.
His face looked more mature now, his hawk like golden eyes reflecting his strength. Then as he looked down, he saw his hands, which were now replaced by gold prosthetical hands. But they weren't actually prosthetics but a gift from the goddess after he had reached level SIX.
Feeling that it was time, William stopped admiring himself and went outside of the room. Then as he guided himself through the large ornamental hallway, a large door greeted him. There at the door, stood two guards who nodded at him.
"Please wait until you are called, sir."
He did as such and waited there. No sound escaped from the large door in front of him but he still waited until the guards got the signal and opened the door for him.
"You are called."
The large door which didn't seem like it could be opened by anyone, was slowly opened by the guards. Then as it completely opened, a red carpet was there as his road.
The door actually led to the outside where a ceremony was being held. Seats were arranged from the door leading up to a makeshift platform made of pure white marbles.
On the platform stood one man at the front with two guards standing behind him. The man on the front, had an intimidating figure coupled with an aura that commanded respect from everyone.
He was wearing a red suit with a white undershirt and black pants. On his suit were numerous medals that spoke of his many achievements. But the most impactful had got to be the silver crown on his head.
This man was the current king of the Wiseburn Kingdom, King Angolic Brave Wiseburn. Not only was he the king but he was also an individual who was named one of the strongest in all kingdoms, having reached the great Level EIGHT and the man was only 68.
As the king's eyes fell on William, he didn't waver one bit and stood tall. Stay updated via My Virtual Library Empire
"Come forth, William Trust."
The king's kind voice came booming over him and he as commanded walked steadily towards him. Then right before the small stairs leading up the stage, William stopped and stood straight.
"Today is a great day. One that has only been seen sixteen times in the past five thousand years since the start of the great calendar. The last one being over two thousand years ago." The king said, his words meant for everyone.
"Today is the day that, we the 19th king of Wiseburn, Angolic Brave Wiseburn commence in the right of awarding William Trust for his great service to this kingdom and the others which he had helped immensely."
The king's kind yet dominating eyes glanced over the people that were present in the event as he asked, "Does any of you have anything to say before we start this process?"
"If you have then speak but speak only the truth."
He asked the people who were the most important people in all of the kingdoms. They were not only great businessman and politician but even the sixteen noble families were gathered here.
All of them took flickering glance at the tall figure of William and had many thoughts going through their heads. Some were good, hoping for future collaboration and good relationship with him. Some were bad, asking for misery and making plans for ruining him.
Still none of them said anything. This was not just any kind of event but one of the most important one. One that would shake and rewrite the foundation of the four kingdoms.
Today was a day that would be marked in the history books.
The king seeing no complications went forward, bringing a sheathed knife in hand.
"Now kneel before your king." The king commanded once more as William willingly bent his knee and looked down at his feet.
"Do you, Willliam Trust, accept the grave responsibilities and promise to help the kingdom and protect its citizens?" The king asked his question and thoroughly looked at William's figure, tone and intent. Seemingly searching for any falsehood.
"I do." William nodded, without hesitation.
The king found no fault in his word as he continued the process.
"Do you, William Trust, will promise uphold the law and strength its core?"
"I will."
"Do you, William Trust, promise to serve your king even if it meant dying with the cruelest fate?"
"I do."
The king unsheathes his knife and slightly cut the middle point of William's forehead. He let the blood slowly seep down his face until it slowly gathered at his chin and fell over the red carpet.
"Now rise and be known as William Trust, The Seventeenth Noble."
