Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage

Chapter 152: 152: Trigger! Trigger for me!

Forty explosive Fire Meteorites slammed into the ground like a torrential wave, sending countless Cracked-Mouth Lizard Dragons flying in all directions. The battlefield shook violently, and the ground cracked open as the flames ravaged everything in their path.

The sheer number of monsters was overwhelming. Thousands of Cracked-Mouth Lizard Dragons were heavily damaged.

Critical Hit -70,000!

Critical Hit -70,000!

...

Each Fire Meteorite hit the beasts directly, dealing double damage (9000x2), with critical hits reaching 36,000 damage. The War Roar further amplified the damage, delivering a terrifying 70,000-point critical hit to the Cracked-Mouth Lizard Dragons.

Even those not directly hit by the meteors were still caught by the shockwaves, receiving heavy damage.

Life Steal +3500

Life Steal +800

...

The enormous life-steal effect kicked in, with 5% life steal per hit, though the benefit per monster was small, the sheer number of enemies made it substantial.

The Crimson Lizard King, battered and nearly destroyed, began healing. In a matter of seconds, its health was restored by over a million points.

The war drums beat again, and the Crimson Lizard King took flight once more.

"Come on! Keep fighting! This battlefield is my blood bank!"

Orson laughed harshly, and with a flick of his hand, he cast Ice Prison Ring across the entire Dragon Nest area. A massive number of Cracked-Mouth Lizard Dragons were frozen, while Chaos Fire continued to burn them.

The Crimson Lizard King unleashed its Destructive Breath, continuously mowing down the Cracked-Mouth Lizard Dragons, whose bodies split apart, only to get back up and suffer the same fate of being frozen and burned again.

In the blink of an eye, nearly two thousand Cracked-Mouth Lizard Dragons had fallen. The Cracked-Mouth Lizard Dragons' splitting ability meant more and more monsters kept appearing.

Heavenly Spirit's Right Eye Skill III: Kill count 1957. Critical damage proficiency reached 39%.

"You blasphemer, you're dead!"

Barenkas was completely enraged. He finally activated his Body of the Overlord, charging toward Orson in a mad rush.

"You think you're some divine being? Who the hell cares about you? I'm having a blast farming proficiency right now." Orson coldly sneered.

He jumped on the Crimson Lizard King and activated Ice Prison Ring, rampaging through the battlefield. With the ring's nuclear radiation effect, everything in its path froze.

The Crimson Lizard King's massive jaws opened wide, unleashing its Destructive Dragon Breath to wipe out the Cracked-Mouth Lizard Dragons, all while steadily stealing life.

Even though Barenkas continued to attack fiercely from behind, Orson paid him no mind, not even turning his head.

"The monster spawn rate is too slow."

Orson frowned. The Dragon Curse Magic on the Crimson Lizard King had a cooldown of five minutes, making it hard to consistently deal large-scale destruction.

Then, Orson glanced toward the rumbling Flame Demon Volcano, which was erupting irregularly. The boiling lava would take a long time to reach the Dragon Nest.

"If I can blow up part of the volcano's mouth, wouldn't I be able to take out tens of thousands of these Lizard Dragons all at once?" Orson narrowed his eyes, scheming.

However, it was easier said than done. The Flame Demon Volcano was too vast. Even if he used an A-rank Earth Magic like Celestial Descent, combined with multiple effects, he still doubted it would be enough to open up a gap in the volcano's mouth and redirect the lava onto the plains.

As he glanced at the relentlessly pursuing Barenkas, Orson focused on the cooldown of the Emperor's Earring.

"Got it." Orson's eyes lit up, a sinister smile forming on his face.

"Shit! This boss is too strong! I hate this!" Orson began to fake his acting.

Hearing this, Barenkas's rage flared. His pursuit speed increased as he charged harder toward Orson.

Orson raised his voice, continuing to talk to himself. "A boss this powerful is out of my league. Looks like my time is up!"

Then, Orson suddenly withdrew the Crimson Lizard King and stood still, no longer resisting.

"If you can recognize the truth, I'll grant you a painless death, blasphemer!" Barenkas laughed maniacally.

Orson barely held in his laughter.

As expected, the boss was a boss. No matter how high the battle intelligence, the AI's mental level was still primitive.

"Please, give me a quick death," Orson closed his eyes dramatically, preparing to face his end.

Barenkas was overjoyed. He had been so irritated by this insect for a while now, and now it was offering itself up for slaughter.

"No wonder you're a High-level Dragon. To die under your breath, I can die in peace!"

Orson fully embodied the role of a drama queen, spreading his arms wide as he prepared to welcome the so-called oblivion.

Hearing this flattery, Barenkas grinned broadly. No dragon could resist the flattery of a sycophant.

Dark Flame Dragon Breath!

Barenkas released a mighty roar as a dark blue dragon's breath shot toward Orson. The space around it trembled, giant boulders disintegrated, and everything was consumed by nothingness.

However, just as Orson was about to be melted by the flame, a smirk appeared on his face. He whispered, "Undying Spirit Body."

This was the protection granted by the Fairy Queen!

For the next three seconds, all attacks were ignored!

"Magic Eye!"

"Mirror of Folding!"

Orson's voice rang with confidence as the Emperor's Earring burst with light, opening a spatial net behind him. The Mirror of Folding locked onto the Flame Demon Volcano.

Boom!

A deafening explosion rocked the battlefield, and the high-level dragon's breath collided with the volcano.

"Thanks for the big laser, old buddy!" Orson's voice rang out as he slowly rose from the world-destroying firestorm.

"You..."

Barenkas's face twisted in disbelief. The insignificant insect was completely unharmed!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Deafening explosions erupted again as Barenkas turned in shock. The dragon's breath continued to erode the volcanic rock, and a three-hundred-meter gap appeared around the volcano's mouth.

Then came a series of violent explosions. The world-ending power spread throughout the Flame Dragon Nest, and even the Flame Dragon couldn't withstand the torrent of molten lava pouring down.

Wherever the lava flowed, all the small monsters were dissolved, and even the Flame Dragon Nest itself couldn't resist the destructive force.

This was a natural disaster! An unstoppable flood!

"Now this is much easier. Thanks!"

Orson laughed at Barenkas, clearly enjoying the chaos.

Barenkas, furious and desperate, charged forward toward Orson.

The Chaos Fireballs slammed into Barenkas, but the output and slow-down effects were mediocre at best.

Breakthrough!

Critical Hit -3700!

Burn -8000!

Slowdown!

...

While Orson continued to fire from a distance, he backed away slowly. His Magic Eye was still behind him, but he didn't immediately enter the space net.

The entry for the Magic Eye took 2-3 seconds to close, and he couldn't risk Barenkas charging in with him.

"The Flame Dragon!"

The Chaos Hexagram floated in the air as Orson predicted Barenkas's next move. He aimed the attack just as Barenkas briefly paused, only to have the Flame Dragon shattered once more by the furious dragon.

At that moment, Orson spent all his 20 talent points on Chaos Chain.

Chaos Chain was now level 6, with a 3% trigger rate.

"Trigger! Damn it, trigger!"

Orson was on edge. Chaos Chain had an unbeatable control effect, but the trigger rate was so low it drove him crazy.

He had been twiddling with his staff for ages, and it took forever for it to trigger.

Whoosh!

The sound of chains dragging echoed as Orson exhaled in relief.

"Finally!" he whispered to himself, seeing the improved 3% trigger rate in action.

Barenkas, whose Body of the Overlord was in cooldown, was once again bound.

Barenkas still had a whopping 60 million health points left, but Orson didn't risk pushing his luck with more damage. He turned and entered the space net.

Orson moved quickly through the space net, arriving at a grassy area on the outskirts of the battlefield.

"Reinforcements from the Purple Thunder Fortress will soon meet up with you!"

A voice echoed, and Orson checked his mini-map. A massive group of green dots, including a particularly large one, were approaching.

"That big turtle's here too?" Orson lay back in the lush grass, chewing on a blade of grass as he put away his Magic Eye and quietly awaited his reinforcements.

"Run? What's the point!"

With the **Fl

ame Demon Volcano** destroyed, he was ready to collect the spoils. So many treasure chests—he definitely needed more keys!

"Adventurer Orson and others have helped the Purple Thunder Fortress. Please protect the riders and all lords as they eliminate the Flame Dragon Nest!"

At that moment, a cold, dignified voice rang out.

A gray magical warship hovered in the sky, with a red-robed witch standing tall, her presence overwhelming.

Suddenly, the ground trembled, and Orson's eyes widened. He turned to see a massive Crocodile Dragon Grand charging forward, smashing entire mountains with ease.

Orson took a sharp breath. "This thing is only a Domain Lord, but its size and health are on par with an average Saint Lord."

What shocked Orson even more was the figure standing atop the Crocodile Dragon.

"Albert's teacher?"

It was a muscular man with brown hair, his torso bare, showing off his rippling muscles. His terrifying arms gripped the reins with one hand and held a black-gold war spear over ten meters long with the other.

This was the Riding Earth Guild's leader, Sky Wolf, and the Crocodile Dragon was his mount!
