Seeing his expression, even if Zhang Ge was slow to catch on, he understood that the other person had misunderstood something because of the Titan following behind.

How should I clarify now? All words pale in the face of a Warlord Titan; anything said would be twisted and misunderstood.

Zhang Ge simply couldn't be bothered to clarify to him anymore. He'd deal with it later. After all, this person didn't seem like someone who held much influence, so it probably didn't matter if he misunderstood.

"Lead the way."

Upon hearing this, the commander once again snapped to attention and jogged back to the command tank at the rear. Zhang Ge, who hadn't strayed far from his own vehicle, also returned to the driver's seat.

As soon as he sat down, Dominica's voice came from the back seat:

"He seems quite polite. With so many tanks, he still saluted you first. If only all the hive-worlders were like that."

Zhang Ge didn't respond. Instead, with a complicated expression, he asked Amilia:

"Do they not give brains to novice Sisters?"

"Ah, well, they're meant to be free of distractions, and there's so much to learn. It's normal for them to lack some common sense."

Dominica herself was clueless:

"Huh? What?"

The vehicles started moving again, falling back into position behind the Titan.

The armored vehicles naturally took the lead, with the Leman Russ tanks forming an arrowhead formation. The lighter armored vehicles were scattered along the flanks, including Zhang Ge's convoy.

After a short period of travel, the group left the ruins area. Ahead of them lay a vast expanse of open land surrounding the hive city, resembling the isolation zone of the previous church but on a much larger scale, almost forming a distinct plain-like terrain.

The reason for the existence of this area was not due to the need for isolation, but rather because both the lower hive gangs and the upper spire nobles had no qualms about conducting recycling, excavation, and collection activities in the ruins. Even setting aside the possibility of high-value items like technological relics, directly recycling the architectural ceramite from the ruins and re-smelting it was still cheaper than producing a new batch from scratch.

With the numerous factions within the hive city, every last bit of value from the ruins could be thoroughly extracted. Over countless years of exploitation, a vast open area had been forcibly carved out.

In this exposed and open location, although there were established outposts and political and military extensions from various factions, when they saw the armored column that had just departed returning with an unprecedented colossal entity, they wisely chose not to disturb the convoy.

However, just as everyone unanimously turned a blind eye, one faction that had originally been oblivious to external affairs was left bewildered.

It was a Mechanicus outpost built near the ruins, serving as a forward base for exploring the ruins. Initially, they had received reports of sightings of the volcano cannon, but the situation unfolded as follows:

While the resident Tech-Priest was deeply engrossed in meticulous research, a reconnaissance servitor carrying the highest priority information bypassed automated recognition systems and the Skitarii, barging into his laboratory. The disturbance caused his hand to deviate from the planned procedure by a mere 0.0001%, rendering the entire process invalid.

However, messages of the highest priority are undoubtedly far more significant than a mere round of experiments.

Yet, when the Tech-Priest heard the servitor relay the information about a "suspected sighting of a Volcano Cannon projectile," even his age and composure couldn't hold up.

A Volcano Cannon? Why not say you witnessed a holy relic stripped from the Omnissiah itself?

The largest land vehicle ever to appear on this planet was a Reaver-class Titan, deployed in the Deadwood District to protect the wealthiest region of the planet from Ork incursions.

But even this Reaver-class Titan barely met the threshold to carry a Volcano Cannon. Is the servitor suggesting that, without any prior notice, the planet's only Reaver Titan traveled all the way here and fired a Volcano Cannon?

Or did the mutants in the ruins dig up a Volcano Cannon, learn how to use it, assembled an energy array sufficient to power it, and managed to fire it?

He had heard rumors of Warhound-class Titan wreckage being excavated in those ruins, but such an absurd rumor... even if it were true, how would the Titan wreckage be repaired? Would someone poke it, and it would just stand up on its own?

Thinking of this joke, even the Tech-Priest, whose emotions had long remained unshaken, couldn't help but burst into laughter, his mood fluctuating by a full 0.5%. He simultaneously ordered the execution of the malfunctioning servitor.

That being said, out of meticulous consideration, the Tech-Priest decided to dispatch a small squad of Skitarii to confirm what had caused the servitor's malfunction, just in case they might uncover some relic.

However, upon returning to the base, the squad immediately escalated their report to a sighting of a Warlord-class Titan.

The second, third, and fourth squads sent for verification... all reported the same situation without exception.

If only one or two squads had reported this, the Tech-Priest might have convinced himself that it was a case of mass data corruption caused by a normal technological relic. But when subsequent squads, equipped with full anti-interference gear, still reported the same, he could no longer remain seated.

Although he still couldn't believe there was a Warlord Titan, a technological relic capable of causing such intense interference was enough to warrant his personal investigation.

With this thought, he finally stepped out of the laboratory door.

Then, the moment he stepped outside, he felt the unmistakable tremor.

Looking up, the image transmitted to his brain by his electronic eye showed a green outline helpfully framing a distant figure, labeled as a moving Warlord-class Titan with no electronic identification code but an image recognition error rate of less than 0.0001‰.

"By the Omnissiah..."

He blurted out instinctively, even rubbing his electronic bionic eye.

But the next moment, the Tech-Priest realized it was not the time for exclamations or prayers. He turned and shoved aside the Skitarii guard beside him, disregarding the wear and tear on his expensive mechanical legs, which had been modified for precision work, as he strode forward with large steps.

With unprecedented agility, he leaped and climbed onto a Steelstrider walker that was idling on a running generator. Directly piloting the scout bipedal walker, the Tech-Priest sprinted across the outpost's outer wall, desperately heading toward the hive city's headquarters.

The arrival of a Warlord-class Titan to the Hive City of Acoran was information that had to be delivered to the higher-ranking Tech-Priests of the hive as soon as possible. Just the thought of what those filthy hive nobles might do to this supreme divine machine of glory made the Tech-Priest feel as though he was about to faint.
