Invincible: Prisoner Mark

Chapter 18: Chapter 18: The end of the Viltrum Empire 5

[Underground...]

Green portals opened in the air, and hundreds of Viltrumites exited the portals. Leading those Viltrumites were all Thraggs. Angstrom smirked as he looked at this.

"Alright, just like we agreed. You all help us eradicate Mark, and in return, I help you find an Earth before Humans fully evolve so you can breed with them," Angstrom said as he opened a portal to show Earth.

An Earth with fully evolved Humans from the second century was shown to Thragg. They were less developed, but with Viltrumite technology, they could terraform Earth.

"You better follow your words, or it will not be good for you," Thragg said as he stepped forward. Angstrom started sweating before Rudy took over the conversation.

"We won't, as long as you follow your words," Rudy said, and Thragg snorted before walking back to his group of Viltrumites.

[Anissa.]

Anissa took a deep breath as she wiped her bleeding nose and mouth. Her entire body hurt as she fixed her broken nose with a snap. Her right arm was broken.

"Damn bug. You got what you deserve for standing in the way of a Viltrumite!" Anissa said with anger and annoyance in her tone as she faced Allen.

Allen was gutted, his organs flying all over space with his arms broken, bones piercing out from his skin. A massive rip in his stomach was seen with a still heart.

Anissa managed to slash Allen in the stomach during their struggle, ending his life. Anissa turned around with a snort before flying towards Nolan and Kregg.

Boom!

Her remaining fist smashed into Nolan's face while he was in a struggle with Kregg. His face snapped to the side, with blood shooting from his mouth.

Boom!

Kregg and Anissa took the opportunity to start beating down Nolan. Their fists and legs were like raindrops on Nolan. Nolan groaned in pain as his bones were rattled.

Nolan felt his life slipping away as he fought back against the two. His fist found Kregg, who suffered a blow to his remaining eye, blinding him in a spurt of blood.

Anissa was distracted as Nolan splashed the blood into her eyes. Taking the chance, Nolan smashed his face into Anissa's and broke her healed nose again.

"You damn traitor!" Anissa hissed as she flew towards Nolan, who dodged her attack calmly while hitting her in the stomach. His punch sent Anissa back from the force.

Kregg took the chance to fly behind Nolan, and he roared in the vacuum of space as he delivered a fatal strike to the back of Nolan's neck. Nolan felt his consciousness slip from the blow.

Anissa glared at Nolan as she took the chance to fly and smash her head into his nose, breaking it. She then started raining punches on his face, along with Kregg.

Nolan felt his vision turn red as blood seeped into his eyes, blinding him. The feeling of death never felt closer to Nolan as he faced his two fellow Viltrumites.

'Mark... Debby... I'm sorry.' Nolan thought as Annisa and Kregg punched him at the same time, Annisa in the face, while Kregg in the back of his head.

Boom!

Space warped around as they crushed Nolan's head into a mashed-up shape. Nolan was still alive, but barely. Anissa and Kregg looked at Nolan and finished him off.

Spurt*

Nolan's neck separated as Anissa's sharp nails cut into his neck and severed his head. Kregg wiped the blood from his face, and his injured eye was slowly regenerating from Nolan's attack.

"Looks like it's over..." Kregg said as he looked at Nolan's body with regret. He was one of Viltrum's best Viltrumites. He conquered Planets like no other.

"It's a shame you had to go this way, Nolan..." Kregg said, and Anissa clicked her tongue at his words.

Pitying a traitor? He deserved whatever happened to him." Anissa retorted with a snort. She does not feel pity or regret for a traitor like Nolan.

[Earth...]

Boom!

Mark crashed into the Ice continent right before Thragg and Battle Beast could collide again. Mark smiled with remembrance as he looked at Battle Beast and Thragg.

These two were the most formidable opponents that he could have ever gotten. Both of these surpassed him in experience and fighting skills. They gave him his most challenging fight.

"Well, a kitty and a barbarian. This is going to be fun~" Mark turned to the fighters, and he cracked his knuckles as he lowered his strength to the level where he was above both of them by a bit.

Thragg and Battle Beast are a massive experience pack to learn fighting skills and how to adapt to fights. Mark wants to use this as a way to hone his fighting skills.

You dare interfere in my battle!" Battle Beast lunged at Mark with anger as he let out a growl. Thragg recognised Mark, and he snorted as he flew at him.

Boom!

Mark caught their fist in one hand each and groaned at the force. His eyes captured how they both used their momentum and speed to increase the power of their punch.

Boom!

The fight began with a flurry of punches and claw attacks that Mark barely avoided and blocked. Thragg and Battle Beast rained attacks on him.

As the fight intensified, Mark adapted to their blows. His body moved more smoothly; his hands punched and blocked more effectively. He dissipated the force of their attacks instead of absorbing it.

His skills increased rapidly due to his adaptation during the battle. Mark started learning how to attack, punch, dodge, and predict his opponents' moves.

[2 minutes later...]

Mark blocked thragg and Battle Beast with a smile, and his struggle stopped as he used his real strength. He had collided thousands and thousands of times with the two beasts.

He absorbed every attack pattern and attempt. He reacted and dismantled their attacks. There is nothing left to be learned from them anymore.

He learned all they could teach him.

Boom!

Battle Beast and Thragg were thrown back with a push, their arms breaking and turning into a mush of meat and bones. The Ice under them did not help as it battered their bodies with its hardness.

"Impossible!... How could you be this powerful?" Thragg asked in pain as he got up from the Ice. Battle Beast growled, his eyes holding anger. He already figured out what happened.

The brat used him and his opponent to learn how to fight better, and they followed his wants like a bunch of clowns.

"Well... I am bored. Time to say goodbye." Mark said as he turned to the two. Battle Beast and Thragg's instincts screamed for them to run, but it was too late.

Boom!

The two had both their upper bodies blown out of existence as Mark's punch landed on their chest. Mark yawned as he turned and walked away from them.

As Mark turned to fly away, he sensed the space behind him shake. Mark turned around, and his eyes widened a little from surprise.

"What the hell?"
