Chapter 11: First Status Update
Anakitty guided us to the cafe that she wanted to go to. She said that the cafe is new, so I did not expect much of a crowd, but looking inside the cafe, I can see that it is fully packed. But we managed to get a table supposedly because the cafe staff recognized Ais and told us it would be good publicity for them. The coffee was pretty good, I must say. We spent a little time there. And obviously, I paid the bill.
"Well then, I will get going, Arin, Raul. Ais-san, do you want to go back together?"
"Yeah. Bye, Raul and Arin, let's meet again tomorrow morning for training."
"Yeah, see you soon, Ais, Anakitty."
Raul and I started walking as we parted ways with Ais and Anakitty.
"Well, Raul, can you guide me to the clothes shop then?"
"Yeah, let's go, it's just down the street."

I did not buy anything fancy, just some t-shirts, some shirts, and some pants and trousers. But something I noticed when I was shopping for clothes was that the quality of these clothes was really good. They were like high-quality clothes that in the modern world would have cost a good penny. Maybe they have better technologies in the textile industry, or maybe magic has something to do with it. Whichever the case may be, I was happy with it.
After buying clothes, we made our way back to the Twilight Manor. After reaching the manor, I dropped my belongings in the room and made my way towards the bathing area. I took a quick bath and made my way straight to Loki's office. After all, I can't wait to see my status.
*knock knock*
"Come in," I heard Loki's voice behind the door, and opened it.
"You seem excited to see your status, though I can't say that I am not."
"Anyway, take off your shirt and lie down on the bed."
I did just that. I really wanted to see how much my growth skills help me.
Loki straddled my back and poked her finger with the needle and dragged it across my back. I sensed a warm light appearing behind me.
"Wow! I expected the numbers to be high, but not this much."
Loki's amazed voice made me more curious. "How much is it, Loki?"
"Calm down, Big Boy, I will show you your status."
She put a Paper on my back and a moment later removed it and gave it to me.

The bond can be of any type- familial love, romantic love, etc. The effect will vary depending on the intensity of the emotions. The closer and stronger the bond is, the faster the growth will be.
"Development abilities"
None.
Wow! I was not expecting so much spike in numbers. My magic is still 0 though… I think it's fine, I am going to get some lessons on magic from Riveria starting tonight anyway.
"It's the first time I've seen someone having such an increase in numbers on their first dungeon dive." Loki continued
"But still remember, don't overdo it since Raul and others won't be able to accompany you. As of now, all the level-2 and stronger members of our familia will be busy since they are going on an expenditure soon."
"I see. But is it really ok, you know, since the evilius are still active in the city, won't it be dangerous for our fighting power to be reduced so much."
"Normally, it would be a problem, I agree, but not all our strongest members are going on the expenditure. Riveria will remain here, also the allied familia's help protect each other when the other Familia goes on an expenditure. In this instance, our familia allies are the Asteria Familia, Hermes Familia, Hephaestus Familia, and the Ganesha Familia."
That's a lot of strong Allies we got here.
"In that case, I understand."
I got up to leave. "Ah! Loki, Regarding my growth skill, I am thinking of focusing on developing another skill than just combat."
"Oh, that's interesting, so have you already thought of something?"
"Actually, yeah. I am thinking of learning how to make magic items. So, do you know of someone who can guide me on this?"
"Hmm… I do know someone. In fact they are in one of the allied familia that I just mentioned. Hermes Familia to be exact."
"Hermes Familia?"
"Yeah they have an excellent Item maker. Her name is Asfi Al Andromeda. She is a level-2 adventurer, also not many people know about her being an item creator yet so keep it a secret will ya?"
"But will the Hermes Familia agree to teach me that valuable skill?"
"They won't teach you for free. Pretty sure they will put some conditions. But I am pretty sure they will agree."
"I see. Then can I leave it to you?"
"Oh! Leave it to me. Now go, you have a magic class with Mama Elf, right?"
"Ok then. I will take my leave."

I walked towards the library where Riveria and I decided to meet for the lessons. I was deep in thoughts as I walked.
.
After my excitement of seeing my strength in numbers faded. I was able to analyze my situation better, although it is true that my growth is good. But I don't think it's enough, with the speed I am growing, I won't be able to achieve the strength I am hoping for. I need to try even harder and push myself more. After seeing changes like Ais' age, Lefiya being in the Loki familia this early, and Eina being a part of the Loki familia, I am not sure if this world timeline is following the same pattern. Even though He said that the major events will play out the same way until I change them myself. I am not too sure now. It would be better if I am prepared to face the Unknown.
I came out of my thoughts as I arrived at my destination.
I opened the heavy oak doors to the library and stepped inside. The air was thick with the faint scent of old parchment and polished wood, a comforting stillness wrapping around me like a warm blanket. Towering shelves carved from deep mahogany stretched toward the high, arched ceiling, each one packed with rows of leather-bound Books, handwritten scrolls. Soft, golden light spilled from enchanted chandeliers suspended in midair, casting gentle shadows across the library. A wide circular window at the far end bathed part of the library in moonlight, giving the room its name: The Twilight Library.
And at the far end near the moonlit window, I saw her—Riveria Ljos Alf. She was seated gracefully in an ornate high-backed chair, a thick tome resting open in her lap. Her long emerald hair cascaded over her shoulders like a silken waterfall, catching the silver light that streamed through the circular window behind her. The soft glow illuminated the sharp lines of her refined features—noble, serene, and impossibly focused. Her delicate fingers turned the page with practiced ease, her gaze sharp and unwavering. Dressed in her dignified green and gold robes, and a white Cape over them. She looked like the embodiment of timeless wisdom—an elf untouched by the passage of years.
And at last, what felt like forever, her emerald eyes turned towards me.
"So you are finally here."
