Over the next 2 months our mc continued this routine and to break up the Mountie he continued his studies getting a further understanding of the human body so that he can begin practicing wood clones soon and not have them instantly spotted as clones. He already managed to make a rough clone like the wood clones from Naruto, but the texture is currently not quite right and needs improvement on the details. But they were still competent enough as extra hands in a fight especially with the sub-minds handling the mental load that comes with controlling multiple body's and since the sub-minds don't have complete info just the necessary stuff to function and give a reasonable assumption of who he is. But that is not important because using the wood "clones" he managed to do basic group formations. Mostly large constructs, defensive barriers, or group single target enhancement. In all cases their names are self-explanatory, they use multiple people to either form a construct controlled by the leader of the formation, defensive barrier, or enhancing the power of the person at the head of the formation. 

The reason this works so well with wood clones is because due to their nature they are more self-sustaining because they are still living wood, though they can't last more than a year currently, they are more than capable of storing energy for over 6 months and still be combate ready for the next 2. And with all of them having a similar sub-mind they will act perfectly in sink. And there won't be any situation like twice because each sub-mind has a mental imprint that marks them as a sub-mind. 

Yet all of that doesn't compare to the array's he made in that short span of time. Ranging from simple pushing arrays to inauguration, hidden passages, and multiple arrays that fire different elements at opponents in either arrow barrages, beams, tracking barrages, multipoint beams, and trapping/restricting arrays of his 5 highest affinities. Which include the earth, water, and wood, not luck because it has not detected an offence he could use at this stage. Poison because of the variety he knows and subduing, mostly a substitute until he gets the lesser poisons, he ordered that would arrive next month. Also, because this kind of poison is traceless and disappears after it runs out of mana. And finally metal because it is the next highest one that doesn't involve any high tiered concepts that would attract the wrong kind of attention and not attract batman too early.

Still, this increased his arsenal big time, but he doesn't want to deal with outside influences just yet, he first wants to get to the third circle, so he has some decent protection for himself when Darkside invades earth for the second time. Still, he has made decent progress and has advanced to the middle stage of the second circle, the only reason he isn't at the third circle already is because of his method of refining mana, allowing it to naturally ascend to the next level instead of forcing it to that stage, and finally spreading out his study time.

But now he is going back to expanding the soul spells from the original basic souls' arrow and its heavy, great, and great heavy variants. He is now getting a soul's sphere properly used though it is only 4 orbs per cast. The magic sealing spell because it doesn't work on soul attacks and raw mana, btw dark souls'-souls spells are mostly just refined souls infused mana so they will be affected except the basic one due to its simplicity when used in combat. Therefore, with all of that taken into consideration he is doing the simplest poison body refinement possible for the aura path, with that being eating apples, now you may be wondering 'why apples' dear reader, and that is simple it is because they contain trace amounts of cyanide in their seeds. In small quantities it is an unnoticeable effect, but after certain quantities are ingested, it will have a slight effect given enough time and a steady rise in concentration.

Pov change

A good first tempering so long as I keep it spread out until I can just directly take snake, scorpion, and amazon rainforest natural poisons. It won't be lethal unless I take over 150 apple seeds at once. Which is at the minimal lethal dose of cyanide. Still with this the poison blood, poison body, and poison aura arts will begin to form in the danta and in my flesh. While it would normally slowly create a healing factor based on how poisoned a person is it would instead make up for the decay in cells caused by the healing factor because of my rapid healing from my wood affinity. And will allow me to fully no longer need my brain for my body to live. Once that happens, I can prepare a special technique that requires the jade jade fruit to show its true potential. Otherwise, it will only turn my brain into advanced hardware.

But speaking of jade I managed to find a natural deposit of wood/earth/water aligned spirit jade. Spirit jade is formed along the spiritual currents that carry energy from the environment. But it is harder to find because only people either fated for it or with supernatural/magic/martial arts can find them. Yet when used right is highly conductive to energy, incredibly sturdy and resistant to external drainage, easily enchanted, natural amplification, and even suitable for decorations for divine artifacts.

As a side not I decided to start using the 1 million of the 1 billion stock to start growing my assets and establishing more connections. Nothing major, another property in Gotham, one in central city, and finally renovating both of them to rent out for other business's. I also bought a medical making company. To start making preparation to sell more mystical and hidden flag-based medicines. I will market them as temporary energy manipulation. Giving people a temporary internal array that makes a demonic aura using both the user's vitality and medical properties. While this is normally used as a primer for supernatural powers for those without talent it is just a temporary power up. So I will be able to sell these in the criminal underworld to gain immense wealth. Though It will probably be targeted i won't be making them in large bachessand always through a clone for sales.

After long term usage I will have a veritable flood of yin energy for the Oroborus technique. Along with pebble corpses, if the family is willing to sell them. Yeah, I got to make use of corpse pills. Though not beneficial to my method, using them as nutrients for certain growing methods can produce some neet demonic materials. Another thing for the to do list.

But with all of that I might as well focus on refining my remaining memories from this body's precious me. At least until I get the remaining materials for poison refinement or get a breakthrough in clone conjuring.
