Two beings are sitting infront of each other, a table inbetween them while their surroundings is completely white. It's so white that if a blind guy got back his vision and the first thing he witnesses is this endless white, he might as well stab his own eyes at the dullness and sheer whiteness of the room.

"Jeez, why is it so dark?" Our protagonist, Aka....aka? Wait, what is my name? Oh god, don't tell me this diddy 2.0 kidnapped me and is now going to.....

"It's not dark, it's just that you have become the victim of darkness as it has consumed your vision."

"Bruh."

"Let me explain your situation to you. You died, yes. How? Well in your past life, you were blind and some kids from middle school decided to play a prank on you. That prank for some reason occured in the place where there was still water nearby and as you might have guessed. You fell into it and got brain eating amoeba eat your brain. It is also the reason why you lost few parts of your memory like your name. Now you are chosen to be 'transferred' in another world"

The woman infront of me spoke with an matter of fact tone like dropping this huge bombshell of a information all of a sudden wouldn't affect me at all and it kind of didn't.

"I see"

I can vaguely remember how I ended up here but it still hurts that because of some stupid teenagers I died. Sigh being blind is tough.

Not being able to see any colours, not being able to see faces of people I love, not being able to see anything except for darkness. I have gotten used to it but it still feels....like shit, i just wanted to see how my family looked like, how my friends looked like but i couldn't.

"Please refrain yourself from crying. Let me explain what will happen next." 'Sigh, another unfortunate soul. I feel so bad for this soul but I can't do anything besides fulfilling my duty.'

"You will be transferred to another world as i said earlier. It's a world with magic and other supernatural element, your race will be decided by your karmic value."

Uh-huh, so a fantasy world? Nice...what else am I supposed to say? Am I supposed to freak out or get excited but i really don't feel like getting excited.

But aren't worlds like those dangerous. God, just don't make it worse than it already is.

I wonder what'll be my race? Will it be human or any other race? If I have to say, I will choose elf. Best race, being close to nature and long lifespan yada yada.

"Let's see..." She picks up an file that magically appeared out of nowhere on the table. "Name...gender, age, good karma, bad karma. Minus...hmm"

She inspects the file closely, her expression remaining one of deep concentration, not like anyone else in that white space could see her expression. "589 good karma and 300 bad karma. If we subtract it then you have around 289 karma left."

Her lips curved up slightly to form an small smile. 'Actually a good number. Atleast the Poor baby can choose a good race with this'

"Can you bother explaining it to me?" I asked impatiently, like dude, she is mumbling to herself and here my nervousness is going through the roof. Just tell me if I'm fortunate or unfortunate.

"You have a good karmic value. If you use it efficiently then you can exchange it for a good race. Also, you will regain your sight in the next world."

Wait.....wait wait wait, I can get my sight back?? "HELLLLL YEAHHHHH!!! LESSSSGOOOO. PRAYING TO EVERY GOD OUT THERE FINALLY PAID OFF! HAHAHAHA"

'Cute' She chuckled at the reaction of the initial unfortunate and now fortunate soul. "Calm down." She spoke softly, already feeling happy for the soul.

"Ah?! Sorry sorry. I got excited cough so what are the options in the races and can you explain the world that I am going to be transferred into?"

"Well~ There exists a total of 5 races in the world where you are going to be transferred. It's a world called 'Khyin' with 5 continents inhabited by 5 races individually, each race have it's own continent with multiple kingdoms ruled by different kings and different ruling systems. Every kingdom has a different ruler and rules, the only thing uniting them is their race. The races are - Humans, Dragons, Demi humans, Demons, Angels. You can choose any one of these races to be reincarnated as and your birthplace or the kingdom you'll be born in depends on your race."

"Wow..." This is so amazing. I wasn't feeling any excitement before but now? I'm so fucking excited. I wonder why the sudden change? Is it because I will finally see and no longer be blind....yeah. That must be it. Hehe.

"So your pick?"

"I pick Elf." I spoke without an slightest hesitation in my tone. I could have chosen angel but they are bound by duty. Elf's are a variation of Demi humans. Demi humans ..."Hey can you explain Demi humans to me?"

"Hmm?~ Demi humans are as exactly what you imagine, humans with some animal traits or animals with some human traits."

Wait, so minotaurs and other beings alike are also considered Demi human?

"Yes."

I'm sure i didn't speak it out aloud, can she read my mind?

"Yes"

Ok so let's start from the scratch. It must have inventory - The one with unlimited space and timeless.

"Denied. Let me give you a advice, there are multiple spatial magic spells in Khyin, you can just learn them and by having a better understanding of magic, you can make them even better."

Good idea but where will I learn the spell from? How and wh-

"That's for you to find out." She pressed her lips in a thin line at the laziness of this soul.

Of course it is, i just wanted some clues. Well cancel the inventory. How about status?

Phew, thank God. Next...hmm, quest section and reward section...yeah, That's the main thing and key to success.

"Well the quest section needs 230 points and you only have 180 points left..."

Ugh.....quest is the main function of system. Without it, system might as well be fucking useless. What should I do?

Succubus? That's suspicious. Why is it so low? Aren't succubus like so powerful and better than a elf? Why is it rated so low?

"The races here aren't ranked by how strong they are, they are ranked by how 'good' they are. Succubus are not that evil if compared to dragons but succubus rely on not so good methods to get stronger and thus, they are ranked the lowest. Even lower than incubus though they do the same thing..."

Oh, so it's like prostituition. Almost no one respects prostitute and female prostitute are more tarnished and hated by society if compared to male one's.

"It is as you think so what is your decision?"

Let's see, being succubus has it's own benefits. Illusion and dream manipulation but ugh....I don't want to fuck everyone and go willy nilly. What should I choose...

Celeste was clearly trembling, the heavy pressure of that being with robotic voice crushing on her but she forced herself to speak. And my dark world suddenly erupted in colours. Blinking my eyes several time to adjust to the light. Infront of me....was sky? Blue colour and white clouds....yeah, it's sky. It's so beautiful..... people saw this everyday and said that they have nothing beautiful in there life....

I-i got my vision back?? My vision....wait where am I! And where is Celeste.
