Tanned skin. Vertical pupils. Purple hair. A blood-stained bone whip in hand.

Her scant clothing covered only the bare essentials.

A cold, chilling aura enveloped her—undeniably a succubus ghost.

"It's actually a living man!"

Miss Succubus, seeing Amamiya Natsuki, lit up with delight and kicked the unlucky girl nearby away, then snarled at the unlucky guy, "Come quickly and replenish my mana."

Amamiya Natsuki raised an eyebrow, curious:

"You really mean replenish mana? Is it serious?"

The succubus bared two sharp canines, licked her crimson lips, and smiled dangerously:

"Of course not seriousl"

Very good.

She just liked her unconventional way of replenishing magic.

"As a man, your blood must taste delicious, right?" Her eyes flashed red. "I can't hold back any longer."

Drink blood to replenish mana?

Who would agree to that?

"I'm sorry." Amamiya Natsuki refused with a serious expression, "I'm a serious person."

"Think you can just walk out after coming in?"

The succubus whipped her bone whip, wrapping it tightly around Amamiya's arm: "Kneel and lick my feet."

Caught off guard, Amamiya couldn't resist the vengeful spirit's power and was pulled close.

The gap between humans and vengeful spirits was immense; ordinary people stood no chance.

Just then, Secretary Fujiwara rushed in, finger raised sternly:

"Outlaw Zhang-san, I summon you! Do you dare answer?"

Miss Succubus tilted her head in confusion, but suddenly found her mouth moving uncontrollably:

"...Zhang-san is here!"

Amamiya felt strength return instantly.

He grabbed the petite succubus—looking barely older than a schoolgirl—and smiled, "What did you just say?"

"Human, what have you done to me?"

The succubus's eyes widened; she struggled but found herself completely immobilized.

Unlike the cow ghost, this succubus was wiser and surrendered quickly:

"Master, you can let me lick you."

As expected of a succubus—unyielding and utterly shameless!

"Fujiwara." Amamiya turned, "Come perform a body search."

"On it."

Fujiwara Chika quickly began.

"What does 'replenish magic' really mean?" Kaguya Shinomiya crossed her arms, brows furrowed.

"To replenish magical energy," Rikka Takanashi answered seriously, adjusting her eyepatch. "Humans breathe air; vengeful spirits need magic. Without it, they weaken."

Kaguya was skeptical. "Sounds like salt."

"Yes. Salt is the source of human magic."

Only Asuka Kujo hesitated.

The succubus's magic replenishment was clearly not serious—hadn't she seen King Saber's magic recharge scenes in Fate?

"You two are so natural!"

"Found it."

Fujiwara finished the search and produced a floating fragment from the succubus's tail.

Amamiya released the defeated succubus and prepared to leave. They could only capture Zhang-san, not destroy him. Though Kaguya had an exorcist weapon to try sealing, time was short, and many more evil spirits awaited cleansing.

"Let's go." Amamiya started to leave.

"Wait." Fujiwara grabbed his sleeve earnestly. "We can't just leave it like this."

"What?"

"What we did to Miss Succubus was harsh. She'll take revenge."

"I can't leave the ward." The succubus hurriedly protested, "I can't get back at you."

Fujiwara pulled the unlucky girl from the corner: "If she wanders off, she'll be in danger."

Amamiya looked at the player sharing the ward with the succubus. Her eyes were tearful, and whip marks covered her body. Having just been kicked aside, she'd be left alone with a vengeful ghost—dangerous indeed.

"She can come rest in our ward." Kaguya said calmly.

Where people gather, the world exists.

Even in a horror game, connections were valuable.

Building networks and reputation was vital. No reason to isolate herself now.

Amamiya nodded and asked the unlucky girl, "Want to come with us?"

"I do."

She nodded quickly and rose.

Anyone who could sell food in the Ghost game was a big shot. With the chance to curry favor, she wouldn't pass it up!

"Sorry for troubling you." Fujiwara handed her a handkerchief gently. "Wipe your eyes."

"Thank you..."

The girl's gratitude warmed Fujiwara's heart despite the dark, gloomy ward.

Fujiwara Chika—the light of humanity!

The succubus clenched her teeth but dared not resist. She could only watch Amamiya and his group leave.

"Damn man, I'll remember you. Next time I see you, I'll squeeze you dry!"

At the next ward's door, Amamiya pushed open and entered without hesitation:

"Someone reported you for illegal transactions. Keep your heads down and don't move!"

Fujiwara followed, innocent-looking but commanding:

"Outlaw Zhang-san, I summon you! Do you dare answer?"

Inside, a woman held scissors, poised to cut Amamiya's mouth corners—until her mouth moved on its own:

"Zhang-san is here!"

Pop.

Amamiya grabbed her shoulder. "Zhang-san, you're under arrest."

The body search followed swiftly. The girls found another mysterious fragment and rescued an unlucky player in the process.

Fujiwara's motherly light shone brightly again.

After sweeping through, they returned to room 404, where Amamiya was.

Miss Sadako sneaked out unnoticed, standing in a corner with her black hair hiding her pale face and chilling aura. New players who followed her screamed and trembled in fear.

"Ms. Sadako, I'm back." Amamiya greeted.

Her hair trembled at the sound. Without a word, she tried to slip into the TV again—getting stuck as always.

Amamiya walked over slowly, wrapping his arms around her slender waist from behind.

"Ms. Sadako, hand over the fragments," he said sincerely, "or you know the consequences."

The players following him were stunned.

He bullied the cow ghost and now Sadako? Terrible!

Seeing the comb in Amamiya's hand, Sadako quickly surrendered and silently handed over the fragments.

Before darkness fell, Amamiya and his companions pressed on to Shinomiya Kaguya's nightmare house—to face the mirror ghost once again.
