Kakashi Masters All Elements, Rewrites the Ninja World for Rin!

Chapter 67: Chapter 67: Clash with the Seven Swordsmen!

"Minato-sensei, then we're not going to save Obito?"Rin asked anxiously after Minato recounted what had just happened.

"We won't look for him just yet," Minato replied solemnly."When the war is over, I'll bring him back with my own hands."

As their sensei, not being able to rescue his student immediately—It was truly humiliating.

"But..."

"Alright, Rin. Didn't Minato-sensei just say that?""Only by ending this war can we really start searching for Obito."

Kakashi, who had been silent until now, stopped Rin gently but firmly.

He knew the reality too well. In times of war, even someone like Uchiha Fugaku, head of the Uchiha Clan, going missing wouldn't prompt an immediate search.

Konoha was stretched thin. And let's not pretend the higher-ups didn't have their own ideas about the Uchiha.

If they didn't, would they really assign the Uchiha—masters of Fire Style—to the coast to battle Kirigakure's Water Style shinobi?Yeah, sure. Totally logical.

Kakashi didn't believe for a second that this was just the advisors' doing.

Both the Third Hokage and Danzo were cunning enough to play several games of shogi at once.

"Then let's hurry and support the battle against the Mist!"

Rin, though still worried, refocused on the mission. The faster the war ended, the faster they could look for Obito.

"Alright, Kakashi, Rin. We're out of time. Let's split up here."Minato said, his voice calm but heavy.

"Yes!"

Five Days Later

"Kakashi, are we even on the right path?"

Rin looked exhausted. After days of walking along the Fire Country's coastline, her patience was wearing thin.

"I mean... define 'right,'" Kakashi muttered, scratching his nose."I'm following the map. Sort of. More or less."

The coastline stretched forever, and the map might as well have been drawn by a drunk cartographer. What was supposed to take three days had become five. But hey—who needs sleep when you have vague directions and teenage angst?

"Kakashi!"

A familiar voice cut through the salt-tinged wind.

Kakashi looked up.Charging toward them in a green blur of enthusiasm was none other than...

"Might Guy?"

Guy ran up, practically crushing Kakashi in a hug."Kakashi! You're here to help too!"

"In that case, let's have a youthful handstand duel along the coastline!"

"Ack—Guy—less youth, more oxygen!" Kakashi wheezed, prying his teammate's arms off his neck."And maybe greet your other teammates?"

"I don't mind."

Genma Shiranui, cool in his black jacket and toothpick-in-mouth swagger, shrugged.Ebisu, shades and all, didn't look up—already nose-deep in his little picture book.

Kakashi's eye twitched.Yep. They were definitely used to Guy's... Guy-ness.

"Ebisu-san must really love studying," Rin whispered beside Kakashi, noticing the carefully wrapped book.

"Oh, he's definitely learning something," Kakashi said, dryly. Then curiosity got the better of him. He walked over to peek—

Mosaic. Everywhere.

One sentence was enough to get the book sealed by the ethics committee.

Ebisu, feeling a shadow over his treasured text, looked up.He adjusted his sunglasses slowly, giving Kakashi a sly smile. The kind that screamed, "you know what I mean."

Just as Rin peeked over too, Kakashi sprang into action and blocked her view."Ahem—by the way, you guys wouldn't happen to know where the Uchiha base is, right? Been wandering forever."

"Yes! We've been searching for ages and still have no idea if we're lost!" Rin added.

"So you're headed to the front lines? Leave it to us!"Guy pounded his chest proudly.

They had been assigned to patrol near the front lines anyway.

"Awesome! Thanks, Guy!" Rin beamed.

Finally, some progress. The sooner the mission was complete, the sooner they could search for Obito.

"Oh, so you know where the Konoha encampment is?"

A sinister voice suddenly echoed from the sea.

Kakashi snapped to attention. From the waves, a man emerged—Mist headband, jagged scar, and a smile far too wide for comfort.

And a massive blade in hand.

"The Seven Ninja Swordsmen?!"Kakashi's tone sharpened."You're... Biwa Jūzō!"

"Oh? We're that famous now, huh?""Even kids from Konoha can name us? I'm flattered!"

Another voice chimed in.A large man surfaced next—Samehada across his back, orange hair tied in two knots.

The infamous Kuriarare Kushimaru and Jinpachi Munashi followed.Along with Ameyuri Ringo, Fuguki Suikazan, Jinin Akebino, and Mangetsu Hōzuki.

Every single one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist was here.

Yep. Kakashi's luck was impeccable.

"Of course. I just love beach parties where everyone's armed to the teeth," Kakashi quipped."Let me guess—you're not here to exchange vacation plans?"

The Mist Swordsmen grinned.

Kakashi's stance shifted. His voice didn't lose its edge, though.

"Alright then, gentlemen. Let's skip introductions—your swords say enough. Just try not to ruin my hair too much. Took me five minutes this morning."

Behind him, Rin prepared medical tools. Guy tightened his stance.Genma spat out his toothpick. Ebisu finally put his educational material away.

It was on.

The sea crashed behind them.Tension thickened. The showdown had begun.
