Kardashian Jenner's Bodyguard

Chapter 10: Chapter 28-29-30

Chapter 28: "Sergeant Silva" Revealed

It was a quiet morning in Los Angeles, and Gabriel was enjoying a rare moment of rest when he began to notice an increase in notifications on his social media. Although he avoided these platforms as much as possible, the buzz around his name did not go unnoticed. He had left his phone on silent mode, but the number of messages and calls kept growing.

On the other side of the world, in Brazil, the reason for the commotion was a simple post by an old friend of Gabriel's, Henrique Monteiro, a former teammate from the Amphibious Commandos days.

Henrique, now retired and living in Rio de Janeiro, decided to honor Gabriel's birthday by posting an old photo of the two of them in their Navy dress uniforms.

The photo showed Henrique and Gabriel, both wearing the impeccable white uniform of the Marines, Gabriel with the medals on his chest and the firm posture that has always characterized him. The caption, although written in a light-hearted manner, quickly caught people's attention:

"Congratulations to 01! Sergeant Silva, the best I've ever met. Those who know him know what he represents. Health and success, brother!"

The post, initially aimed at a small circle of friends, quickly went viral thanks to Gabriel's growing audience. Soon, fans of the Kardashians, curious onlookers and even journalists began sharing the image, speculating about the past of the "mysterious Brazilian security guard".

At Kylie Jenner's house, Gabriel received a call from his boss.

— "Gabriel, have you seen what's going on online?" Kylie asked, her voice sounding curious and a little amused.

— "Not yet. Anything I need to know?" Gabriel replied calmly.

— "Apparently, a friend of yours posted a picture of you in a Brazilian military uniform. It's everywhere now. People are freaking out because they know you were… what are they calling you? Oh yeah, 'Sergeant Silva'."

Gabriel sighed, running his hand over his face.

— "I'll talk to him. It wasn't intentional, but I don't like that kind of attention."

Kylie laughed on the other end of the line. — "You should take advantage of this. People are obsessed. Besides, it's your birthday, right? Congratulations!" —

"Thanks," Gabriel replied, a little awkwardly.

Meanwhile, gossip sites and social media were exploding. "Was the Kardashians' bodyguard an elite Brazilian soldier?" "Who is the mysterious Sergeant Silva?" "New photo reveals more about the past of the internet's favorite bodyguard."

Several editors began looking for information about the Brazilian Marines and the Amphibious Commandos. Articles highlighting the tough training and the exclusivity of the troops began to circulate.

Some even compared Gabriel to characters from action movies. On TikTok, edits with photos of Gabriel in dress uniform began to appear, with dramatic soundtracks such as "Fortunate Son" and "Danger Zone."

In Brazil, Henrique soon realized the impact of his post. He called Gabriel.

— "Man, you won't believe what's happening. My post went viral!"

— "I noticed," Gabriel replied in a slightly serious tone.

— "I just wanted to pay tribute to you, bro. I didn't know people would go crazy like this."

— "I understand, Henrique, but I have to be discreet because of my work here. All this attention isn't good for me."

Henrique laughed.

— "You've always been like this, right? Quiet, in your own world. But, hey, no one can erase the fact that you're a legend, Silva. Enjoy the moment, at least today."

Gabriel sighed, but thanked him.

— "Thanks, Henrique. And thanks for the congratulations."

Later that day, at Kris Jenner's house, the Kardashians were gathered for brunch, and the topic inevitably turned to Gabriel.

— "Did you see the picture of him in uniform?" Kim asked, showing the post on her cell phone.

— "I saw it, and the comments are hilarious. Everyone wants to know more about him," Khloe replied, laughing.

— "I knew he was mysterious, but an ex-military elite? That's action movie level," Kendall said, impressed.

Kris smiled, always thinking strategically.

— "Well, that just increases our security. Who better to protect us than someone with that background?"

Kylie chimed in.

— "I spoke to him earlier. He seemed a little uncomfortable with all this attention, but I think deep down he appreciates the recognition."

— "Well, he deserves it," Kim concluded.

Gabriel, for his part, decided to ignore social media for the rest of the day and focused on an exercise routine to clear his head. However, while he was jogging around the neighborhood, he was approached by a group of young people who recognized him.

— "You're the Kardashians' security guard, right? Sergeant Silva?" one of them asked, with a nervous smile.

Gabriel paused, quickly assessing the situation, before nodding in response.

— "I'm Gabriel, yes."

— "Can we take a picture with you? We promise we won't bother you."

He hesitated for a moment, but he finally agreed.

— "Quickly, please."

The young people took the photo and thanked him profusely. Gabriel continued his run, reflecting on how his life had changed drastically since arriving in Los Angeles.

That evening, when he returned home, Gabriel received a text from Kylie:

— "We're thinking of doing something to celebrate your birthday. Everyone here thinks you deserve a moment of celebration."

He replied briefly but gratefully:

— "Thanks, Kylie, but no need. I prefer to keep things simple."

She insisted:

— "Simple or not, you're part of our family now. So get ready."

Gabriel smiled, shaking his head. He might not be used to so much attention, but he knew that, somehow, the Kardashians were becoming more than just employers they were a new extension of his life, as complicated as they were enriching.

Chapter 29: Protecting Kylie, Stormi, and Aire

The morning sun lit up the wide driveway of Kylie Jenner's Hidden Hills home as Gabriel adjusted the safety gear on the black SUV they would be using for their outing. Kylie had asked him to accompany her and their children, Stormi and Aire, on an outing that would include a trip to a playground and later lunch at a family-friendly restaurant.

Gabriel always prepared meticulously for any trip, but accompanying small children presented unique challenges. He reviewed the route, safety points, and escape routes before confirming everything with the support team.

"Ready for a full day, Gabriel?" Kylie asked, appearing in the driveway with Stormi holding her hand and Aire in her arms.

Gabriel gave a slight smile.

"Always, Mrs. Jenner. Everything is ready."

Stormi, curious as ever, waved at him.

"Hi, Gabriel! Are you going to play with us today?"

"I'll be around to make sure you and your brother are safe. But if you need help on the slide, maybe I can help," he replied with a warm smile.

Kylie laughed as she packed her diaper bag and joked, "You might have to babysit today, too."

The SUV rolled smoothly along the tree-lined streets, Gabriel driving while Kylie watched the kids in the backseat. Stormi chattered excitedly about the park, while Aire giggled, engrossed in a toy.

"You're always so calm, Gabriel," Kylie commented, watching him in the rearview mirror.

"It's part of the job," he replied. "And it also helps when the customers are nice."

Kylie smiled, appreciating the backhanded compliment. "Have you ever dealt with more... complicated situations before?"

Gabriel gave her a brief but meaningful look before turning his attention back to the road. "I've been in situations that required absolute calm. But I confess that protecting children like Stormi and Aire is a different responsibility. They are the future."

The simple and sincere answer touched Kylie, who remained silent for a few moments, reflecting on Gabriel's dedication.

When they arrived at the park, Gabriel quickly assessed the environment. He observed the entrance and exit areas, identified potential risk points and discreetly signaled to one of the security guards who had been positioned previously.

Stormi ran excitedly towards the playground, and Kylie stayed close, encouraging her. Gabriel remained a few meters away, his posture attentive but not intrusive. He knew how to balance the need for safety with the desire for normality of his clients.

At one point, a fan recognized Kylie and approached, asking for a photo. Gabriel politely intervened.

"Please keep a safe distance," he said firmly but kindly.

Kylie smiled at the fan.

"Sorry, I'm with my children today. I hope you understand."

The fan apologized and walked away, while Gabriel went back to monitoring the environment.

During lunch, in a private and discreet restaurant, Stormi showed her natural curiosity.

"Gabriel, have you ever seen a real lion?"

He laughed lightly and replied:

"Yes, but it was in a zoo, like you. They are very impressive."

Stormi's eyes widened.

"I want to see a lion up close someday!"

Kylie shook her head, smiling.

"Maybe we'll take a trip to Africa someday. Gabriel, have you ever been there?"

"Yes, during my military career. It's an incredible place, with landscapes and cultures worth getting to know," he replied.

The conversation continued relaxed, and Kylie was impressed by Gabriel's ability to connect with Stormi without losing his professional demeanor. Aire, still too small to understand the conversation, watched everything with his big curious eyes, occasionally giggling as Gabriel made subtle faces to entertain him.

At the end of the day, as they drove home, Stormi, exhausted, dozed in the backseat next to Aire, who was already fast asleep. Kylie, sitting between them, looked at Gabriel, who was driving with the same attention as always.

"Thanks for today, Gabriel. I know this isn't exactly the kind of work you were used to before you came here."

He replied without taking his eyes off the road:

"Protection is protection, whether in high-risk situations or on a playground. The principle is the same: keeping the people who matter safe."

Kylie was silent for a moment before saying:

"You're more than just a security guard to us, you know? I feel like everyone in the family sees you as part of it now."

Gabriel gave a brief, grateful glance in the rearview mirror.

"I appreciate that. It's nice to feel like I'm contributing in some way."

When they got home, Gabriel helped Kylie get the kids inside. Stormi, still sleepy, held his hand as he walked up the stairs, murmuring,

"You're the best, Gabriel."

He smiles, leaving Kylie to put the children to bed while he returned to his usual position, ever watchful.

That night, as he monitored the security cameras and reviewed his plans for the coming days, Gabriel reflected on the day. Despite the complexities of his job, there was something deeply satisfying about protecting not just a client, but a mother and her children.

And as much as he avoided getting emotionally involved, he knew that moments like these were starting to have an impact on his worldview.

Chapter 30: A Night of Movies and Reflections

The night was quiet at Kris Jenner's house. Gabriel was at his usual post, keeping an eye on security, but the atmosphere inside the house was relaxed.

All of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters were gathered: Kendall, Kylie, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and, of course, Kris. They decided that this would be a rare opportunity for them all to be together, enjoying a family movie night.

"What are we going to watch?" Kendall asked, looking at the large TV as she fiddled with the remote.

"How about something exciting?" Kylie suggested, settling herself on one of the couches.

Kris, ever practical, suggested: "I heard about this movie called 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. They say it's based on true events. Has anyone seen it?"

"I haven't, but it sounds interesting," Kim replied. "And we have Gabriel here, who can tell us how much of it is real."

Everyone looked at Gabriel, who was standing discreetly near the front door, monitoring the room.

"If this is the movie, I'll be around if you have any questions," he said with a slight smile.

"Perfect," Kourtney said, as she picked up a glass of wine. "Let's get started."

The movie started, and the room soon fell silent, except for the sounds of the screen. The opening scenes showed the chaos in Libya after the fall of Muammar Gaddafi.

The tension was palpable as Jack Silva (played by John Krasinski) arrived in the country and met with Ron "Rone" Woods and the rest of the GRS team, hired to protect the CIA station in Benghazi.

Kendall, curious, asked as the scene showed the tension between Jack and the rebels in the first standoff:

"Gabriel, does this really happen? Do these CIA guys hire soldiers like this?"

Gabriel, in a firm voice, replied: "Yes, they are known as GRS, or Global Response Staff. They are ex-military personnel, usually with special forces experience, hired by the CIA to protect their bases and operations in high-risk regions. Most of these operators have already been through similar situations in their military careers, so they have the profile to deal with this."

Kylie frowned, worried: "But they don't have much protection, do they? It seems like they are alone."

"That's true," Gabriel nodded. "These contracts usually put the operators in very dangerous situations, often with limited resources. They rely heavily on their own skills and the trust among the team members."

As the narrative moved on to the attack on the American embassy, the tension in the room increased. The sisters watched in silence the chaotic scenes of explosions and gunfire as Ambassador Chris Stevens and others tried to protect themselves.

Kim, visibly shaken, asked: "Did it really happen like that?"

"Yes," Gabriel replied. "In 2012, the US consulate in Benghazi was attacked by militants. The GRS team you see responded to the attack, despite the orders of the CIA station chief who thought it was risky to send reinforcements."

Khloe shook her head in indignation. "So they saved lives, but they were risking their own because someone else didn't think it was worth it?"

"Exactly," Gabriel said. "These men knew they were disobeying orders, but they prioritized the mission of protecting lives. It's a tough decision, but they trusted the training and morale of the team."

The scenes of the attack on the CIA annex were even more intense, with Ron leading the team's defense as enemy forces surrounded the facility. The determination and courage of the operators impressed all of the sisters.

Kourtney commented: "It seems impossible to hold off so many people with so few men."

Gabriel agreed: "When you're under attack, the mindset is to focus on one objective at a time: holding the perimeter, protecting the team, and surviving. And to do that, you have to completely trust the people around you."

Kris, who had been watching closely, asked, "Have you ever been in a situation like this, Gabriel?"

He hesitated for a moment before answering, "I've been in conflict zones where the threat is constant, but each operation is unique. These situations are always extreme and test your mental and physical capabilities to the limit."

The film climaxed with Ron's death during the final attack. The room fell silent as Jack, wounded and exhausted, watched the sunrise and spoke to his wife on the phone, revealing that Ron would not be coming home.

Kylie discreetly wiped away a tear and commented, "It's so unfair. They did everything right, but they didn't get the recognition or support they deserved."

Gabriel took a deep breath before answering, "That's the reality for many who work in operations like this. Sometimes the greatest victories are surviving and ensuring that the sacrifices of others are not in vain."

With the film over, the group sat in silence for a few moments, absorbing the emotional impact of the story. Kendall was the first to break the silence.

"Gabriel, you never thought of doing something like this ? Work as a contract operator?"

He smiled, but his expression was serious.

"I've received many offers," he admitted. "Including from companies that work directly with the GRS. But the risk is too high, and the rewards, in my opinion, are not always worth it. These men live constantly in the line of fire, without the same support they would have in official military service."

Khloe asked curiously: "So why did you choose not to accept?"

"Because life is not only about facing danger," Gabriel replied. "There comes a time when you realize that there are other ways to use your skills to protect people and make a difference, without having to put your life on the line all the time. Private security is one way to do that."

Kris smiled and looked at her daughters.

"I knew there was something special about you, Gabriel. It's not just about what you do, but how you do it."

Kim nodded. "And I think we're all grateful to have someone like you looking out for us. After seeing what these men went through, it makes you appreciate even more who is here to protect you."

Gabriel nodded his thanks, maintaining his professional demeanor but feeling genuinely appreciated.

That night, as the group dispersed, Gabriel returned to his post, reflecting on the impact of the film and the sisters' questions. He knew his journey had taken him on different paths, but he felt that somehow he was exactly where he was supposed to be.
