KEYOKTHAI: THE WAR FOR THE EARTH

Chapter 40: EPISODE 40:“ The Shiver Before the Storm”

After the Duel: The Eyes That Witnessed Power

The crowd still stood in stunned silence. Neeran, beaten and humbled, sat on the ground, staring at the broken wall as dust settled behind him. Sang walked away without looking back—his footsteps heavy with silence, his presence chilling the air like a fading storm.

Rakhad watched him go with narrowed eyes.

Rakhad (softly): That wasn't just a fight… That was something awakening.

Zoick (worried): Did… Did you see that flash in his eyes?

Among the duel group, whispers rippled like wild fire. Some were in awe, others in fear. The boys who once mocked Sang now stood speechless. Even the girls, once Neeran's fans, stared at Sang with a mix of wonder and unease.

The yoga teacher stepped forward, voice trying to gather the shaken students.

Yoga Teacher: Where were we? Ah, yes… unlocking what lies within. To awaken the nine inner powers, we must meditate… dig deeper than breath, deeper than thought.

Sang's eyes widened. Something clicked. He turned abruptly and ran out.

Sang (to himself): Nine powers…? May be this is the way I could found the light?

In the Throne Hall of Threxius: Echoes of Prophecy

The cold, cavernous chamber of Threxius buzzed with dark energy. Fifteen demon kings sat on their massive thrones, towering over the stone floor. Before them, a lone figure—hooded, old—knelt, his head bowed low.

Threxius leaned forward on his throne, his voice slicing through the dark like a dagger.

Threxius (coldly): I don't ask about them. I ask—how… do you confirm they are reincarnating?

The kneeling figure raised his head slightly.

Spy: My Lord… let me explain.

The room fell into tense silence.

Spy: The KTHAI CLAN—legends shrouded in forgotten blood. They ruled planets, turned tides of war with a gaze, a whisper. Then, one day… the gods warned us. Extinction isn't final. The Kthai… would return. And when they do, signs appear—symbols, dreams, echoes of war in the winds.

Threxius's claws curled around his throne's edge.

Spy: The signs have begun.

Just then, the gates swung open. The emperor's guardian stepped forward, head bowed, scroll in hand.

Guardian: My lord… A message has arrived. Urgent.

 Kaelthor's Empire: Arrogance and Doubt

In the blood-iron fortress of Kaelthor, monsters sat like warlords of chaos. The air buzzed with nervous debate as Kaelthor narrowed his eyes, fists clenched.

Kaelthor: Speak. What do you know of the Kthai?

One beast rose from the side rows—massive, scarred.

Monster King: I have heard, my Lord… of warriors too stubborn to die. But… they are gone. Dust. Myth. Why should we tremble at ghosts?

The air grew colder.

Kaelthor (darkly): Then why do our soldiers fall? Why does fear whisper from planets untouched?

Another guardian burst through the chamber doors.

Guardian: My Lord… there is a message.

Kaelthor's expression hardened. Something was coming.

Sang's Room: A Vision of the Unknown

Sang sat in silence, legs crossed, trying to breathe steadily. The world around him blurred into a quiet fog. But deep within… something stirred.

He tried to reach for light—but found only shadows.

Suddenly, he saw it.

A cave.

Dark… but not dead. Cold… but breathing.

Sang (whispers): I've seen this before…

A drip echoed. A wind stirred inside his mind.

The cave was not memory.

It was a call.
