Chapter 3: A Deal Between Two
"Mm~"
At that moment, Luo Bingyan let out a soft murmur—a sound so delicate and intoxicating that it sent a shiver down Lin Han's spine.
Damn, this woman is a damn fairy.
Cursing under his breath, Lin Han quickly got up from the bed and moved to the tea table, trying to compose himself.
Luo Bingyan groggily opened her eyes, her head still spinning.
As her vision cleared and she saw the unfamiliar room and the man sitting not far away, she snapped awake instantly.
Panicked, she immediately checked her clothes.
Still intact.
She let out a small sigh of relief, but her expression quickly turned cold.
Fury surged in her eyes as she glared at Lin Han. "So it really was you, Lin! Where did you get the… guts to pull this?!"
She had originally wanted to say "Where did you get the dog-guts?"—a harsher insult.
But for some reason, as soon as she saw Lin Han, the words got stuck in her throat.
Luo Bingyan felt something was off.
Why did he feel… different?
He looked… handsome? His aura had changed too, and strangely, her disgust toward him wasn't as strong anymore.
Meanwhile, Lin Han calmly poured himself a cup of tea.
This [Spring Breeze Aura] talent was godly! If this had been before, Luo Bingyan would've wanted to skin him alive right now.
"Care for some tea?" Lin Han smiled, lifting his cup. "Freshly picked premium Longjing before the rain."
"Who knows if you poisoned it?!" Luo Bingyan snapped, her expression still ice-cold. "What the hell do you want?"
Even though Lin Han looked different, her deep-rooted bad impression of him didn't just vanish overnight.
More importantly, this new Lin Han…
Felt unreadable.
And that unnerved her.
Lin Han took a casual sip of his tea and suddenly said:
"You look pretty good in a swimsuit."
His tone was as natural as a friendly greeting.
But the words hit Luo Bingyan like a nuclear bomb.
Her mind went completely blank.
She jumped up, eyes red with rage, and glared daggers at him.
"You! You shameless lowlife! You peeked at my phone?!"
Lin Han looked up with an innocent expression.
"Hm? What are you talking about? Who looked at your phone? Did I say anything?"
As he spoke, he pointed at his head, as if saying:
"Are you okay up there?"
"YOU! BASTARD!"
Luo Bingyan clenched her teeth so hard they might shatter, looking like an angry little wildcat with its fur bristling.
Her phone's hidden folder had always been her secret!
But from what Lin Han just said, it was obvious—he had seen it.
And worse… he might have made a copy.
If he decided to leak those photos, she'd have no privacy left! She wouldn't even be able to show her face in public!
"Don't get so worked up," Lin Han chuckled, pouring another cup of tea. "Stress is bad for your skin. Let's just sit down and talk."
Luo Bingyan stood her ground, still glaring at him murderously.
She had zero intention of sitting down.
"Black lace."
Lin Han casually glanced out the window and spoke two simple words.
Luo Bingyan's body visibly stiffened.
Then, with extreme reluctance, she walked over and sat down, her eyes like daggers stabbing into Lin Han's soul.
If looks could kill, he'd be chopped into mincemeat by now.
Lin Han didn't mind at all. He grinned and pushed a teacup toward her.
"Don't look at me like that. You're making it seem like I did something to you. I'm a man of integrity, you know?"
"Scumbag."
Luo Bingyan felt suffocated.
She had never been humiliated like this in her entire life.
And worst of all—she had no way to fight back!
Who could have guessed that the once-pathetic bootlicker had suddenly learned the art of psychological warfare?!
In the end, she took a deep breath and said coldly, "Delete the photos. Name your price."
"Now that's what I like—smart people." Lin Han smirked.
She had walked right into his trap.
"Cut the crap. I don't need you to like me. Just tell me what you want! As long as I can give it, I won't hesitate. But if you dare ask me to marry you, forget it! I'd rather die!"
Lin Han raised an eyebrow.
"Who gave you the confidence to think I want to marry you? Liang Jingru?"
Luo Bingyan took a deep breath to suppress her rage. "Good. That's even better. Now hurry up and state your conditions!"
"Alright then."
Lin Han leaned back on the couch, crossed his legs, and grinned devilishly.
"Simple. I've chased you for ten years. Since I can't have your heart, how about one night with your body?"
BOOM.
Luo Bingyan instantly snapped.
"You're DREAMING! I knew you were still a disgusting bastard! You filthy toad—!"
Lin Han cut her off, still speaking in his usual calm, persuasive tone.
"Don't be so quick to refuse. Think about it. Just one night—and come on, I'm handsome as hell. If anything, you're the one getting a good deal."
"GET LOST! NOT A CHANCE! NEVER IN THIS LIFETIME!"
Luo Bingyan was shaking with rage, barely resisting the urge to throw her tea in his face.
Lin Han sighed, rubbing his nose.
"Alright, fine. Plan B—pretend to be my girlfriend for one month."
Luo Bingyan paused, finally looking at him seriously.
Lin Han continued, "To be honest, I'm not interested in you anymore."
"…?"
"But we do have a marriage engagement. And everyone knows I've been chasing you. If I suddenly back out, where does that leave my family's dignity?"
"So, we 'date' for a month. Then, I tell my grandfather that we're not compatible, and he cancels the engagement. That way, the Lin family doesn't lose face, and you get your freedom."
Lin Han gave her a once-over and mocked, "Besides, with your average looks, average body, violent temper, and resting b*tch face, who gave you the confidence to think I actually want you?"
Luo Bingyan laughed coldly.
She didn't believe a single word of his "not interested" act.
If he didn't like her, why had he chased her for ten years?
If he wasn't interested, why was he asking for a one-night stand just now?
What a joke.
Still… his offer was tempting.
One month of pretend dating, and in exchange, she got her photos back and broke off the engagement.
It was too good to refuse.
Finally, she tilted her chin up arrogantly and said, "Fine. I accept. Now hand over the photos."
Lin Han smirked.
The fish had taken the bait.
"Sure." He casually tossed his phone onto the table.
"No password. Just copied. Delete them yourself."
Meanwhile, outside the villa…
In a low-key car that had been parked for a while, Ye Fan checked his watch.
"Time's up. Time to make my grand entrance."
He dialed Old Master Luo, cracked his knuckles, and smirked.
