Konoha, Just Like Kizaru

Chapter 106: 106 Is The Tailed Beast A Good Summoning Beast?

"Then sign the Summoning contract," Simu said, patting Two-tails on the head casually.

He wasn't worried about loyalty. For Simu, strength was the key. As long as he was strong enough, Two-tails would stay loyal.

"Understood. I'll transform back now," Two-tails replied.

The blue flames surrounding it quickly vanished, and its size shrank. The flames retracted back into the body of Yugito Nii.

The tailed beast's Chakra had taken a toll on Yugito Nii. She lay on the ground, severely burned and on the verge of death.

She tried to stand and continue fighting, but the only thing she could control was her mouth.

With all her strength, Yugito Nii whispered, "Hanyu Simu... you must die..."

Simu frowned. "As expected from the genius ninja of Kumo Shinobi. So fierce, even in death," he said casually.

"However, if I recall correctly, it was Kumo Shinobi who attacked us first, right?"

Simu extended his hand, flames-like Chakra swirling above each fingertip. He pressed the seal on Yugito Nii's abdomen.

Fortunately, he had prepared for a potential crisis. He had specifically asked Jiraiya about sealing techniques. With Yugito Nii's weakened body and the cooperation of Two-tails, it was possible to undo the seal.

"Seal · Unlock."

"Ahh!" Yugito Nii cried out in pain.

A huge surge of dark red Chakra burst from the seal, instantly filling the air with an overwhelming malice. This was the power of the Tailed Beast.

For ninjas with insufficient strength, the pressure could make them faint on the spot. But for Simu, it felt like a breeze—harmless.

With Two-tails' withdrawal, Yugito Nii's vital signs rapidly faded. This was one of the drawbacks of being a Jinchūriki.

Once the Tailed Beast left the body, the Jinchūriki's life force would drain quickly.

In the original story, Gaara survived thanks to Chiyo's Forbidden Technique, the [Kisho Tensei: Self-Destruct Technique].

This was one of the main reasons Simu didn't want to become a Jinchūriki.

The last remnants of Two-tails' Chakra finally released. The dark red energy twisted in the air before converging into a ferocious cat-shaped shadow.

The blue and black flames quickly flared up from the dark red Chakra, restoring Two-tails, Matatabi, to its original form—though smaller in size due to the intense battle.

It had fought Simu for a full day and night, a rare feat in the ninja world. Most battles are much quicker, as no one has an endless supply of Chakra. Extended fights like this are uncommon. Simu recalled that only two exceptional individuals, Hashirama and Madara, fought for three days and nights, and the Third Raikage, known as the human-tailed beast, battled against thousands of ninja for the same length of time. Simu had only fought for a day, yet others had endured much longer.

"It seems you still need to push yourself further," Simu mused with a sigh.

Terrified, Matatabi quickly meowed, but Simu reassured it.

"Don't worry, I'm not a bad person," he said, gently patting Matatabi's head.

Simu knew that he needed to touch Matatabi with his hands covered in Armament Haki. To his surprise, it felt warm and comfortable.

"Well, Master Simu, would you like me to lower the heat?" Matatabi asked cautiously.

"It's fine," Simu replied casually.

Next, it was time to sign the contract. The last time Simu had signed a contract, he used the scroll left by the Senju clan.

But how to create a contract on his own... he looked at Two-tails.

Two-tails lay on the ground, meeting Simu's gaze and shaking its head. "I don't know how to make a contract either. I've never been contracted as a Summoning beast,"

Two-tails confessed, its voice tinged with a hint of shame. "Being a Tailed Beast, it's not something we're accustomed to. Back then, Hashirama just took us all and redistributed us. No contracts were made."

"Got it,"

Simu said, scratching his nose. He decided to ask someone with experience.

He picked up the phone bug and connected to Kushina through Katsuyu. "What's up?" Kushina replied groggily, clearly in the middle of a shower.

"Kushina, can you help me find the Third Hokage and ask him about the seals for contracting a Summoning beast?"

"Contracting a Summoning Beast?" Kushina asked, confused. There was a rustling sound as she quickly dressed.

"Didn't you already sign a contract with Master Katsuyu?"

"Yeah, but I just met a really good Summoning beast and I want to contract another one."

"Got it, hold on." Kushina quickly finished getting dressed and headed to the Hokage office.

Two-tails groaned when he heard the phrase "not bad," as if protesting.

A dignified Tailed Beast like him serving as a Summoning beast? Was Simu dissatisfied? Were there Summoning beasts in this world that were better than him?

But then, Two-tails noticed something in Simu's hand—a familiar feeling. Katsuyu's clone nodded at Two-tails.

"Is this... Katsuyu Sage?" Two-tails asked in surprise.

"Yes, nice to meet you, Matatabi," Katsuyu responded, always polite to everyone... except for Orochimaru and Manda.

Simu was a bit surprised. "You know each other?"

Katsuyu Sage nodded. "I met Six Paths-sama along with Gamamaru back then."

"If I remember correctly, Matatabi was one of the nine little ones who were with Six Paths-sama at the time."

Matatabi had no issue with being called "one of the little ones." While the Tailed Beasts were ancient to others, they were nothing compared to Katsuyu Sage.

Katsuyu was a creature from the same era as the Sage of Six Paths, and along with Gamamaru, had existed even since Kaguya's arrival in the world.

They were separated from the sacred tree during the later years of the Sage of Six Paths. So, it wasn't strange for Katsuyu to refer to them as juniors.

Matatabi looked at Simu and muttered,

"I always felt that the Sage Mode on you was a bit familiar... So it's from the Wet Bone Forest, like Senju Hashirama-sama."

"However, Mr. Simu's techniques are very different from ordinary Sage arts," Matatabi added.

Simu smiled.

Kushina listened to this conversation, feeling a bit confused. It was already nine o'clock in the evening, yet the Hokage building was still brightly lit.

After being briefed, she successfully reached the Third Hokage's office.

"Hokage-sama, Simu said he needs to speak with you." She handed the Den-Den Mushito the Third Hokage.

Third Hokage raised an eyebrow. He was no stranger to the Shikkotsu Forest because of Tsunade, and it was clear that this was a clone of Katsuyu Sage. He wondered if it was being used as a tool for long-distance communication.

Suppressing his inner doubts, he looked at the den-den mushi on his desk. "I am Sarutobi Hiruzen."

Simu's troublemaking nature piqued the Third Hokage's curiosity about what he was up to now.

Simu scratched his head and said, "Uncle Third Hokage, I need to ask how to contract a Summoning beast—preferably one that can strongly restrain another Summoning beast."

Two-tails lay on the ground, not daring to speak.

The Third Hokage furrowed his brow. "Summoning Beast?"

He wondered if Simu had already made a contract with the Shikkotsu Forest.

"Yes, Two-tails wants to sign a Summoning contract with me," Simu clarified.

The Third Hokage let out a sigh of relief. It seemed that Simu was just asking about a Summoning contract. But then, he froze, his thoughts pausing for a moment.

He asked tentatively, "Wait, did you say Two-tails?"

Simu sat cross-legged, thinking, The old man really knows how to drag things out.

"Two-tails? That Summoning beast is called Two-tails?" The Third Hokage still found it hard to believe.

Simu glanced at the well-behaved Matatabi. "Yes, blue, fiery, with two tails."

The Third Hokage blinked, clearly impressed. "Well, does it have another name, like 'Tailed Beast'?"

Simu nodded. "Yes."

The Third Hokage thought for a moment. "Isn't there a Nine-Tails inside Kushina? It shouldn't be a problem for you to contract with Nine-Tails."

Simu casually replied, "Yes, I've killed all the demon cats lurking in the Land of Fire."

The Third Hokage took a sip from his teacup, then, after a brief pause, asked, "Did you kill Kumo Shinobi's second-tail Jinchūriki?"

Simu shrugged. "Yes."

"Good job," the Third Hokage said calmly, as if it was no big deal.

But Kushina could clearly see that the palm of his hand that put down the teacup trembled a little.

There are many types of Summoning beast contracts. The three great summoning clans usually use contract scrolls, which create an equal relationship.

For example, with Simu and Katsuyu Sage, both can summon each other, and both have the right to accept or refuse a summon.

However, Simu's situation was different. He wanted an unequal contract to control the tailed beast.

The Third Hokage thought for a moment before saying, "Remember, the seal for the Summoning beast contract is..."

Simu quickly responded, "Okay, I'll hang up now."

After exchanging a few words with Kushina, he ended the call and immediately began sealing according to the method the Third Hokage had taught him.

A large Summoning circle appeared between Simu and Two-tails, made up of densely packed mantras. Two circular blank spaces were visible on both sides.

"Now, just place your palm here," Simu instructed, glancing at Two-tails. The tailed beast hurriedly placed its palm, surrounded by blue flames, gently onto the vacant part of the circle.

Simu then squatted down and placed his palms onto the circle as well. In an instant, their two strands of Chakra connected through the magic circle, establishing a special bond.

This connection was controlled by Simu, meaning he could summon Two-tails whenever he wished.

However, for Two-tails to reverse the summoning, it would require Simu's consent.
