Although many words were exchanged, these conversations occurred through thoughts, and the time elapsed was minimal.

Behind Kisame, a vague blue phantom appeared, casually drawing a sword.

No, calling it a sword might not be accurate—it resembled more of a stick.

Yet, this seemingly casual action and unimpressive weapon sent chills through Whitebeard's heart.

Danger! That was what his instincts screamed at him.

Whitebeard's expression turned grave.

For the first time, he understood Sasuke's fear of Hoshigaki Kisame.

This sense of peril—this sharpness emanating from the unremarkable weapon—was something Whitebeard had never felt before, even in battles against the likes of Garp or Roger.

It was as if death loomed directly over him.

"Old man! Don't face it head-on! Move!"

Sasuke's shout came from behind, but Whitebeard could only manage a wry smile.

He wasn't like Marco or Sasuke, able to maneuver freely in midair.

Dodging was impossible.

His only choice was to confront the attack directly.

Determination replaced the seriousness in Whitebeard's eyes.

His Conqueror's Haki surged violently, and his supreme blade, Murakumogiri, trembled under the intensity.

Conqueror's Haki, Armament Haki, and the power of the [Tremor-Tremor Fruit] combined, pushing the limits of the supreme blade.

The phantom's sword, raised high, aligned with the sun that had just risen.

It gleamed with unmatched brilliance.

"Go!"

A low voice echoed from the phantom. The sword descended, as though it aimed to split the skies and earth.

BOOM! BOOM!

Thunder roared endlessly. Lightning streaked across the sky, and the sea trembled violently as if the skies themselves protested.

Sensing the incoming devastation, even the sharks attacking the Whitebeard fleet abandoned their targets, diving deep into the ocean in a frantic retreat.

The crew of the Whitebeard Pirates could only watch in stunned silence, their eyes fixed on the figures of their captain and Sasuke.

At the moment of impact, the phantom shone brighter, merging completely with the sword to unleash an earth-shattering strike.

Whitebeard's breath caught as he faced the towering energy.

His scalp tingled with apprehension.

He had encountered countless swordsmen, but this wasn't about the size of the sword's energy.

The sheer power it carried was in a league of its own.

'I have no choice but to fight!'

Gritting his teeth, Whitebeard's muscles bulged as red steam enveloped his body.

"[Cataclysmic Shock!]"

He gathered everything into his weapon and unleashed his strongest attack.

"[Indra's Arrow!]"

Sasuke, appearing just in time, unleashed his most powerful ninjutsu alongside Whitebeard's attack.

When the three forces collided, the world fell silent for a moment, as though space itself had frozen.

Then, a colossal shockwave erupted, tearing through the battlefield.

The sea churned violently, the winds howled, and when the dust settled, both Sasuke and Whitebeard were nowhere to be seen.

Kisame, shielded by the phantom, remained standing, unscathed.

His expression was blank, his mouth slightly agape in disbelief.

The sheer terror of the phantom's sword had left even Kisame stunned.

Amid the aftermath, Sasuke emerged from beneath the water. Blood streamed from his eyes as his skeletal Susanoo form supported a battered and panting Whitebeard.

The supreme blade of Whitebeard had been shattered, its remnants nowhere to be found.

Whitebeard's once-proud appearance was in tatters—his clothes torn, his body drenched in blood, his iconic mustache halved.

Scars covered him from head to toe.

"Colt, that bastard… he's trying to kill me too!"

Sasuke cursed internally, certain that Colt had intentionally intensified the attack upon seeing him intervene.

But without Sasuke's interference, Whitebeard would never have survived that attack.

"Well, you've improved, Sasuke. You managed to survive," Colt's teasing voice echoed in Sasuke's mind.

"Let's end this here. I think Whitebeard has learned his lesson."

Colt's voice grew faint, eventually dissipating altogether.

Behind Kisame, the phantom vanished, its task complete.

"Is it over?" Kisame muttered, shaking his head as if waking from a dream.

A grin crept across his face as he gazed at the defeated duo.

"How about it, Sasuke? Care to continue?" Kisame asked, retrieving another scroll with a grin.

Sasuke's heart sank at the sight, and he turned to glance at Whitebeard.

Whitebeard let out a bitter laugh, regret evident in his eyes for the first time.

"I should've listened. I should've left Kisame alone…"

Whitebeard sighed deeply, his voice laced with defeat.

"Let's retreat, Sasuke. This was my mistake. Hoshigaki Kisame, you win this time."

"From now on, Fish-Man Island is yours."

Though unafraid of death, Whitebeard couldn't bear to leave his sons unprotected.

He had to go forward for them.

"Tch. I warned you not to provoke Kisame," Sasuke grumbled as he helped Whitebeard toward the ship.

Exhausted from overusing his Susanoo, Sasuke could no longer maintain its full form, let alone fly away.

As their figures retreated, Kisame chuckled quietly before sinking into the depths of the ocean, vanishing without a trace.

To him, this outcome was unsurprising.

Compared to his master, Whitebeard was nothing more than a slightly formidable… ant.

From a Marine warship in the distance, Aokiji, Kizaru, and several Vice Admirals lowered their binoculars, their faces pale.

"What… kind of weapon does Kisame wield? Even Whitebeard…"

The question came from Vice Admiral Momonga, his voice trembling in disbelief.

The entire scene had been surreal.

Kisame hadn't even fought directly—he'd used a phantom summoned by a strange scroll to overpower both Whitebeard and Sasuke.

The other Vice Admirals remained silent, though their thoughts mirrored Momonga's.

Even Aokiji and Kizaru were deeply shaken.

Aokiji, recalling his encounter with Colt, had only one thought:

'Thank heavens I wasn't on the receiving end of that sword.'
