Chapter 171: Eyes of Magic
November 1994
Gringotts Wizarding Bank
Few minutes had passed since Harry Potter had left along with Hermione. But Sharptooth was still standing in the same room while his mind was in daze.
The reason why Sharptooth, an incredibly experienced goblin who had seen a lot of things in his life, found itself in daze was because of what Harry had told him to do before departure.
Harry had asked Shaprtooh to wait in the same room as he would be bringing another person for the inheritance test. And though Harry had not said it explicitly, it was clear that this person would be claiming the Ravenclaw lordship.
And the incredibility of the situation had left Sharptooth in daze. It would be a situation when all the 4 founders would have their magical descendant and that too at the same time.
It was like fate… magic itself was stitching things according to her will.
The last time when Sharptooth had gone through such myriad of thoughts was when Harry Potter had claimed a bunch of lordship for himself.
Sharptooth was still lost in thought when the air in front of him rippled and Harry Potter appeared inside the room. Standing alongside with him was a strange girl.
Blonde hair… wandering eyes… and lost in her own thought. Even so, Sharptooth recognised the girl. She was Luna Lovegood. Daughter of Xenophilius Lovegood, the lord of house Lovegood and Pandora Lovegood. Lovegood was a Most Ancient House and though not very wealthy or influential, their lineage had a certain prestige.
"Miss. Lovegood," Sharptooth came out of his reverie and greeted the heir of Lovegood house.
Luna looked towards Sharptooth and surprise flickered through her eyes, "A goblin."
An expression of frown appeared on Sharptooh's face as he expected that Luna said these words out of disgust and more insults would soon be forthcoming. But nothing such happened.
"How very fascinating," said Luna with a smile. "I have never been to Gringotts previously and never seen a goblin."
"Dad says," she continued. "That goblins are among the most intelligent magical species… probably even more intelligent than humans. They are believed to be more blessed by magic than humans."
"And thus, restricting their use of wands and enclosing them underground in the name of a bank was not a very good choice."
Harry chuckled at this while Sharptooth's expression eased.
"If those fools in Wizengamot heard you say this," Harry said. "They will go mad. Especially after the weight your words will carry on from here on."
"Mr. Sharptooth," said Harry. "I assume you already know her."
Sharptooth nodded.
"Very well," Harry said. "Then, let us proceed with the inheritance."

After another round of the cart round, Luna along with Harry and Sharptooth arrived in the ritual hall of the Gringotts.
The journey on the cartwheel was quite an amusing journey for Harry as Luna would quip few strange remarks about Gringotts.
And Sharptooth's expression for the entire journey was notable- amused, flushed, shocked, intrigued and shocked.
The trio arrived at the same stone altar and Sharptooth was about to hand the silver knife to Luna when Luna raised her hand and moved it like as if gliding on something.
Sharptooth preluded to this another of her strange behaviours.
"What beautiful lines," said Luna as she continued to glide her hand. A flicker of surprise flashed through Harry's eyes but Sharptooth was not so calm.
Instead, he was shocked… shocked to the core and the silver knife slid from his hands.
"Lord Potter," he turned towards Harry. "Miss. Love good…"
He wanted to say something but was unable to form coherent sentences.
Harry said what Sharptooth had in his mind, "Yes, Mr. Sharptooth."
"She can see magical lines… wards… everything. She has the eyes to see the magic itself… the legendary eyes of magic."
"How?" Sharptooth stammered.
Harry shook his head. How could he know?
"It is believed that too as a myth that only Rowena Ravenclaw in the entire magical history had such a capability," Sharptooth murmured. "And now if Miss. Lovegood have it, she can alone change the fate of the wizarding Britain."
"That she can," Harry agreed.
Harry's magic flared at this moment and an enormous pressure descended in the entire hall, "No matter the result of her inheritance, the words cannot be leaked."
"As soon as the process is completed, you will take a goblin oath to keep all this to yourself," Harry declared.
Sharptooth wanted to argue for a moment about informing his king but the pressure increased further and Sharptooth could only nod, "Yes, Lord Potter."
The pressure vanished and meanwhile Luna, unaware of what Harry and Sharptooth were talking looked at them entirely.
"What are you talking about?" She questioned.
Harry shook his head while the goblin handed the knife to Luna.
"Miss. Lovegood, few drops of your blood in the bowl," he said.
Luna inspected the knife for a moment and then made a small slash with it and blood dripped in the bowl.
Two lights emerged from the bowl. One red, the blood connection, which connected with Xenophilius Lovegood and Pandora Lovegood.
And another golden line, which was connected to a single name- Rowena Ravenclaw.
"Finally, the magical heir of the fourth founder," Sharptooth muttered in a low voice.
