Legendary Architect of Apocalypse

Chapter 202: Trap

Elias dropped on the snow when the force stopped controlling his body. A Constellation appeared behind him, and grabbed his wrists, pulling his arm behind him.

His arms were tied behind his back, and he was made to stand up.

"I have already lost my Summoned Beast. I am not a threat to you. I was just forced to come here," Elias said, his expressions growing painful.

"I know that you lost your beast. I also know who killed your Beast. As for your threat, that was never our concern," the girl answered, not having the slightest fluctuations in her expressions.

"Then can you let me go?" Elias asked with hopeful expressions. Unfortunately, the situation was getting less optimistic with each passing second. The people here didn't look like they were willing to let him go.

"Should we kill him?" a boy asked. "There is no point in keeping him alive."

Elias was nothing weak in their eyes, but he was still someone from the enemy camp. They didn't know how much information he had gathered about them, but even if he didn't know anything, there was still no point in letting him live.

"Is it finally the opportunity that you were waiting for?" Astralious smirked next to Elias. If they actually tried to kill Elias, then he truly had an opportunity to reveal himself. It was as realistic as the situation could get.

"Huh? What?" A few minutes later, Astralious looked blankly at Elias. They were not killed. Instead, they were brought back to the Destroyer Faction, and imprisoned inside a tent with his hands tied behind his back.

The tent that was chosen to keep him imprisoned wasn't an insignificant camp either. It was the main tent in the camp, which was at the heart of it.

"They didn't try to kill you? Just how useless can they be? Are they really from the Destroyer Class?"

Astralious complained non-stop, as they were trapped instead of being killed.

"They are not kind enough to let me live for no reason. They must be planning something." Elias was as calm as ever, sitting inside the camp.

He was certain that he was being used by them. But he didn't know exactly how. Just what were they planning?

....

Meanwhile, on another side of the camp, there was another spy from the Destroyer Class who was captured. But he was also not killed.

He was also captured, but the restraints around his hands were much weaker than the ones used for Elias. They were such that anyone with slightly higher strength could easily break them.

"The bastards from the Creator Faction keep sending these useless spies. Did they really think that we can't catch them?"

Outside the tent where the second spy was kept, a few guards were assigned that talked amongst themselves.

"If only Lord Elias wasn't injured, and needed time to heal, we would've already destroyed their camp."

"How long will it take for Lord Elias to heal?"

"I heard that he should be healed in a day. Once that happens, we will flatten their camp."

"Ah, no wonder the other rankers are so relaxed. With Lord Elias working with us, we will definitely win."

"But if Lord Elias is injured, shouldn't we strengthen the security around the tent? He's staying in the central tent, but there is no one guarding him. Is it really fine?"

"What are you worried about?"

"Isn't it still dangerous? After all, the other rankers are going to be away from camp tomorrow. They are going to search for things that could help fasten Lord Elias's recovery. We would be at our weakest then. I still can't help but worry."

"Do you think that the enemies would barge right inside our camp? How can they know about it? We have already captured all the spies."

The conversation of the guards was heard by the second spy, who was also in shock. The Destruction Faction had such a weakness? They truly had Elias, but the reason they didn't attack was because he was injured?

The more explosive news was that the top rankers of the camp weren't going to be here tomorrow. Isn't that the perfect opportunity for the Creator Camp to flatten this place and capture Elias?

If he could return with this information, then he was going to be hailed as a hero. He could already look forward to the rewards he was going to receive from the rankers of his camp.

The Guards kept talking, and giving various information without realizing. After a few minutes, they even left the sight, saying that they were bored and going for a walk.

The second spy didn't find anything wrong with their words. He just thought that they were very lazy.

He quickly applied some force on the ropes that were tying him. He easily broke the rope, and freed himself.

He sneakily left the camp, moving as cautiously as possible. Fortunately, the security within the camp was much lax. He was easily able to run away from the camp with the information that he had gathered, without being detected.

He didn't know that all the top rankers of the Destroyer Faction were watching him run away, without even trying to stop him.

"To think that a spy could be so foolish. We were able to feed him lies with such ease. These people are really idiots."

"The more foolish they are, the more beneficial it is for us. For now, the trap has been laid. All that's left is for the fish to take the bait. Once that happens, it will all end in our favor."

The top ranker of the Creator Faction said, her expressions growing more amused with each passing second.

Even without Elias, she was able to win this entire thing because of this simple trap. This way, she could prove to everyone that she was truly the best of the Destroyer Class.

"These foolish children. Can't they even see that they have been trapped?" High in the sky, Helen clicked her tongue at the foolishness of the child from Creator Faction.
