Legendary Battle Pet

"Roar!" Blux responded with a roar.

This sound sent a chill down Azrul's spine, causing him to instinctively take a few steps back. He looked at Blux with a mix of awe and apprehension.

He still clung to the existing perception that Blux was a Riolux, always thinking that Bluxs sound would be "Rio," but who would have thought it suddenly turned into a "roar." This dramatic change startled Azrul.

"Alright, Blux, stop playing around," Ethen said, helplessly stopping Blux's antics.

Upon hearing this, Blux lay down quietly on the ground, no longer making a sound. Seeing the massive Blue Lion so obediently tamed by Ethen only increased Azrul's admiration for him.

"Have you had breakfast? If not, let's eat together," Ethen asked.

"No, I haven't..." Azrul replied, trying to maintain his composure, and smiled.

After a simple breakfast, the two of them left Master Residence together. Still driven by Azrul, this time, their destination was the "Starry Forest," located not far from Blackwater Town.

There were quite a few relatively low level magical beasts there, which were perfect for training the Golden Retriever.

Azrul's battle pet was also a level eight black iron pet. Hearing that Ethen wanted to level up the Golden Retriever, he decided to join him to give his own pet some experience.

Their sudden assault threw the iron armored lizards into a panic. Naturally timid, these lizards were frightened out of their wits at the sight of two unfamiliar battle pets charging at them, and they immediately attempted to flee.

However, golden retriever and the Ironwood Elf were not about to let them escape. With seamless cooperation, the two battle pets quickly and efficiently took down all of the dozen or so iron armored lizards present.

After defeating them, this batch of iron armored lizards dropped an item called "Lizard Scale." After Ethen and Azrul evenly divided the scales of the lizards, they continued on their way. Before long, they encountered a giant wolf with a body entirely in purple and gold.

A Purple Gold Wolf!

Upon seeing a wolf type magical beast, golden retriever became furious. Previously, outside Shuangshui Village, golden retriever had been besieged by a pack of black jackals and had narrowly escaped death, thanks to Ethen's intervention.

Now, encountering the Purple Gold Wolf, the humiliation of that day surged back into golden retriever's heart. With a roar, golden retriever charged at the Purple Gold Wolf.

The Purple Gold Wolf was at Black Iron level seven, and so was golden retriever. The two were evenly matched and immediately engaged in a fierce battle.

Azrul did not command the Ironwood Elf to assist. He understood that this kind of fated battle was best resolved by golden retriever itself.

Both creatures were soon covered in wounds from the intense combat. However, it was evident that golden retriever had a stronger fighting drive. Its life for life fighting style gradually put the Purple Gold Wolf at a disadvantage.

Seizing the opportunity, golden retriever delivered a powerful blow when the Purple Gold Wolf was exhausted, decisively defeating it.

"Well done!" Ethen praised golden retriever's strong performance after it defeated the same level Purple Gold Wolf.

Without hesitation, Ethen took out some pills beneficial for upgrading Black Iron level battle pets and fed them to golden retriever. He also handed a few of the same pills to Azrul.

These pills were crafted by Ethen during his free time over the past few days, perfectly suited for battle pets.

Following Ethen's example, Azrul also fed the pills to the Ironwood Elf. The effects of these pills were indeed remarkable. After consuming them, golden retriever quickly advanced from Black Iron level seven to level eight.

But the progression didn't stop at level eight; golden retriever continued to climb in strength. The same was true for Azrul's battle pet, the Ironwood Elf.

Both golden retriever and the Ironwood Elf experienced rapid improvement. Seeing that the pills he had crafted were highly effective for golden retriever and the Ironwood Elf, both Ethen and Azrul were pleased.
