For several tense seconds, Aoni's eyes followed the notifications' manifestation and disappearance until he was left staring off into nothing with a blank expression.

'1 Point…for an Energia Crystal that would cost me 2500 Credits to buy in a store…'

'Never do that again, Aoni, NOPE, NOPPPPE! HOW BOUT NO!' Shaking his head violently, the lad tossed aside all the ideas he had generated over the afternoon and dumped all the remaining Energia Crystals on the top of the bookshelf.

'It's better to use them to increase mine or Glacia's Energia Density or even sell them at a sketchy pawn shop because, at the very least, I would grow stronger or fill my belly.' Still shaking his head, Aoni picked up his chair and placed it down in front of the Flume while mentally grumbling his complaints.

'Stingy, so stingy, if it were 10 points, I wouldn't have even complained; after all, 10 points can go a long way, but one, why not cut off my arms and legs with a chainsaw and call me torso boy while you're at it.' With a huff, Aoni opened up his TD so that he could start working on his next plot, but he was dumbfounded by the numbers he was seeing.

'two…twoo…TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-EIGHT POINTS!!!' Practically screaming in his head with an accelerated heart rate, Aoni resisted the urge to jump to his feet and dance around happily.

Honestly, if Glacia hadn't already passed out for the night, he probably would have. Still, since he was a respectable lord who would never interrupt his beloved summon's rest after a hard day's work, the lad calmed himself down just as quickly as he had gotten excited.

'Carry the 1 move the decimal, that's 238.61 points earned plus the one I just got….fooooo. I really went at it today.' Wearing a greedy smile, Aoni truly felt it was his time to shine; however, while he may be rich in points, the number of things he could upgrade that would benefit him in the short term was lacking greatly.

However, his purpose for positioning himself in front of the Flume wasn't unwarranted.

Aoni didn't doubt that he had gained some points; number aside, his plans didn't change a whole lot; if anything, the ones he had made for a week or so from now were expedited significantly.

The first objective on his docket was to Increase the number of summons his Flume could store. Common knowledge dictated that a Flume's grade was indicative of not only the rarity of summons it could provide but also the number of "Stacks" you could acquire, for example, That Emerald Flume Aoni had seen random young master number one with, could stack a maximum of 20 unused Summons at a time.

Now, I know you may be asking, "Why is that important?" Well, it's simple: More Summons equal better chances at Better Summons. Just like in gacha games, where there are rate increases for multi-summons, the same concept could be applied to Flumes.

Still, that didn't mean it was a decision to be taken lightly; after all, there was a timer of sorts on summons, so while it may be easy to get a multi-summon as a New Traveler, after the two-week Grace period unless you had Nodes which gave Summon Charges to a flume, it would take almost a year to get 10 summons saved up, something the no sane Traveler could afford.

However, given that Aoni wasn't in the best position for bringing more summons into his family quite yet, he figured now was as good of a chance as ever to begin stacking up charges…but the only issue was….

Presently, Aoni only had a single slot open in his Flume for summons, along with a single LoS available. Originally, due to having no idea how expensive it would be, he had only hoped to open up one or two slots; that way, he could buy himself some time before he needed to use up the charges.

Otherwise, the only option was to burn the summon and hope for the best.

'Having almost 300 points is quite the benefit; here goes nothing… increase my number of available summons.'

| Designation Required: would you Like to Increase the Maximum number of Available summons or the Current number of Available Summons? |

'I can do that?' With eyes wide open and mouth dropped, Aoni had to close his mouth physically with his hand before taking a steadying breath.'

'Increase the Current Number of Available Summons.'

Not wasting time, Aoni shifted to his TD and noticed he had lost 20 points. And he felt his heartache because he knew what he had to do...

'Minus 60…sigh, the return was only a quarter of the amount spent…that's rough. I feel like I just wasted my points for no reason at all. It's a shame that One-Star Grade Flumes Cap out at five summons.' Smacking his lips, Aoni couldn't help but think about that Emerald Flume stone he saw back in the gym again.

'To make matters worse, since my Flume wasn't maxed out, to begin with, apart from adding points, the only way I could even form half a multi-summon was by replacing it or finding a Flume Upgrade Node.' Massaging his temples, Aoni could feel his trigger finger itching as he noticed there was still an arrow next to his available summons.

'It's a bad idea; the fact that I earn one summons a day is good enough for now. I should take advantage of that while I can because, in two weeks, I won't have that luxury.' Scanning through his Summon's Display, the lad's eyes stopped on his Links of Subordination, and with a nod, he upgraded it to the maximum, which, unlike with Available Summons, had a higher limit, 20 to be exact.
