Limitless The Strongest Revenant

Chapter 921: Did you all know? [2/2]

Somehow, I wasn't surprised at the development. Juno has always shown a great thirst for knowledge. And, with the Sirens gaining {Insight}, they would now see the errors in the Graveyard records.

Nodding, I stepped in front of Juno and Zanele.

"Zanele, calm down. I give you my word that we will not kill the Prince. According to what we see, the monster possessing the Prince is called a Tokoloshe. Does that ring any bells?"

"A Tokoloshe? Heavens! Yes, it does. They are mischievous or malevolent spirits in Zulu mythology. They attack people, giving them nightmares and disturbing dreams. I never knew that the Tokoloshe came from Hellsgate!"

Roach, who seemed angry at my words, slammed his lance to the ground. "Grrr… Limitless. I almost died to one of these bastards before; I want to fight it."

"I get that, Roach, and you will get your chance. Mind telling me how you even managed to fight one before?"

"I killed another Lizardkin dragon. The same one that killed my family before. After I killed him. This bastard came out of him. I almost had him. He ran away. This one is not the same but smells the same."

"I see. Juno. Among the Reborn. Is the Dream demon part of the undead, monsters, or the demon kin?"

"He smells like the ones you call Demonkin," the leader of the Awakened answered.

"Okay. Then they should be vulnerable to blessings, right?"

Juno crossed her arms and placed her hand on her chin. Her actions grew more human-like by the day. Given her human face and torso, the line between Reaper and Reborn slowly began to blur, at least for her.

"I would say so. These blessings do not harm us monsters. But they are deadly to undead and, to a lesser extent, demonkin. It could work."

"That would have to do. Exa. Can you have the first squad of Vela's wolves report to Lilly?"

[Understood, I will notify them at once. They are currently brainstorming for the new versions of the Sacreds and have run out of ideas.]

Hearing the predicament of the former Golden Wick, I could only smile wryly.

I reached out to Lilly, Jas, and Liv to tell them that I needed the wolves sent to me. They expressed their annoyance at being used as a delivery service. After placating them a bit and promising individual dates for them, they all agreed.

Meanwhile, the door behind us suddenly opened. And out of it came Amari and Mia.

"LIMITLESS! I AM GETTING MARRIED!"

"Fluffy, there is no need to shout."

"Who cares? I AM GETTING MARRIED! WOOOHOOOOO!!"

Mia, who was in extremely high spirits, was bouncing up and down in joy. Amari smiled sheepishly as if he were embarrassed.

"OHH! Congratulations, Mia! You have a designer yet? I can recommend the one who made our dresses. Darling can vouch for how good they looked since he ripped them all to tiny pieces during our honeymoon!"

"How wonderful! That is good news, Flair-san."

"Bout time. Congrats, you two. Glad it all worked out. You can use the Limitless chapel if you want. I can use Honey's clout to get you in the queue. I can even put in a word and get you a Hellsend wedding."

"Grats, I will ask Lucretia to send you some of the good stuff," Possum said with a large grin.

Mia then began babbling with the Sirens. They exchanged high-fives and hugs. Given how sudden it all happened, the girls must have intentionally tried to do some kind of power play here. Their combined brainpower was truly scary.

Amari gave respect to Zanele and asked for her blessing.

"Mother, I have decided to marry Mia."

"About time, you stupid boy! I am happy for you. Now, if only we could wake up your brother, everything would be perfect."

Anyone who saw our little group would think we were all a bunch of sociopaths. We went from discussing grim shit to happy shit without even needing time to adjust. I guess when your entire race lived on the edge of the knife, it was normal.

Juno sneakily came closer and whispered.

"My lord, I should congratulate them, right? The Awakened do not have a concept of a marriage. So I do not know how the celebrations even work."

"Haha, yes, that is the case. It is a wonderful thing. Please do congratulate them."

"I see. Then should I also give them gifts? I personally find such a practice odd. Why do they not just skip the process and mate? What does being a bride and a groom actually serve?"

"Hmph. This is why Reapers are stupid. Just take the girl and make her yours. Your kind makes everything so complicated," Roach added while crossing his arms.

"Hmm… it's hard to explain. Get Exa to explain the concept of monogamy first. Then ask me again."

"I understand. I will research the topic and report back to you," Juno said with a salute.

Just then, Bella separated from us and raised her hands to the south of the room. A tall orange {Gate} opened. A few seconds later, a squad of beautiful teenagers decked out in combat gear, armed to the teeth, came out.

"Yo, Patron! I was deadass shocked when Exa slid into our DMs. We were lowkey lost on the assignment, so we pulled up here just to not feel like total garbage."

Yvonne waved frantically and ran towards me, spouting crap I could barely understand. Funnily enough, even [American English] was powerless in front of the might of her slang. It should be noted that this {program} allowed me to talk to Reborn.

The rest of the wolves followed suit. Clarie, Aisha, and even the cucumber girl Eva were all present. Seeing them all together hit me with a wave of nostalgia. Aisha, upon catching up to Yvonne, grabbed her head and pushed it down.

"Yvonne! Stop being a whole clown! You're supposed to pull up with a proper greeting!"

The former golden wick formed a neat row with Yvonne at the center. They curtsied before greeting us.

"We greet the lord and the ladies of Hellsend. Hail."

Zanele, who saw the large group of teenagers, covered her mouth as she asked in curiosity.

"Successor, who might these be?"

I faced her and announced with pride.

"These are the most powerful saints of Hellsend. And the ones I trust the most. I sent for them to help us save the prince."

"Oh my, all of them are saints? How is that possible?! Thank you, Successor; some of them are even stronger than the ones in the Royal Harem."

Amari, who was beside me, added with a smug smile.

"Mother, Hellsend has hundreds of Saints among their ranks. All of which actively take part in combat. But among them, there are none more powerful than those that belong to the ranks of Vela's wolves."

Jo, who noticed the new arrivals, also praised her personal squad, "HAHA! They are my little sisters! They kick ass like you wouldn't believe! This demonkin is toast!"

They tried to hide it, but I noticed that they puffed up their chests and stood straighter. It seems like only yesterday when these girls were about to sell themselves out of poverty.

Now, they were not only rich and well reputed. But they were known as one of the powerful squads of Hellsend.

Zanele teared up at the praise for the newcomers. She shook hands with each wolf. The matriarch's gratitude was overwhelming. Anyone could feel it.

The wolves awkwardly received her thanks, unsure how to address her. While I relished seeing them awkward, they were not here for leisure.

"Wolves. Time to work."

To which they replied with a "YES, MY LORD!" x 12
