Lookism (Fan fic)

They were in. Alexander Hwang was sending them his live location through GPS.

"Now all we need. Is our strong friend to accompany us there since there must be so many executives there." said Daniel as he picked his phone to call someone.

FLASHBACK (EVENTS RIGHT AFTER HUNT FOR BIG DEAL)

After Vin's defeat, he was briefly arrested before being let go after Daniel used his influence through Steve Hong. He was extremely injured and had to have his arm in a sling (due to his shoulder getting dislocated by James Lee's kick). After recovering he had tried to rejoin his sessions in OK Talent Agency only to be told by the director that because he was briefly arrested on the allegations of gang fight and violence, the agency has decided to 'lay him off for a bit'.

"Sir, I wasn't even formally arrested. It was like for a few mins." explained Vin. 

"I am sorry boy. Those things catch heat fast. People talk and fan the flames. We can't take the fire can we? Listen. It's not like we are cancelling your contract or anything. You are still a trainee. It's just that we want you to take a long holiday. At least till you complete your school probably or until this matter dies down and is forgotten." the director at OK replied. 

Vin fell silent. Well, it was expected. The director wasn't wrong. He was lucky to still at least have an official contract and not just tossed aside. Maybe he does need this time off. He looked at his hand, which was still in a sling. Trying not to think too much about it, he left quietly. Besides, Seongji's death anniversary was approaching. Maybe he should go back to Cheonliang to relax and heal.

CURRENT TIME

"Hello?" answered a girl's voice.

"Huh? Vin Jin, I never knew you had such a feminine voice on the phone." said Daniel confused.

"It's me, Mary you dumbass." snapped Mary.

"Oh sorry. Where is Vin?" he asked.

"He went outside. May I take a message?" she said.

"Oh yes. Tell him to come to the warehouse. He knows the place. We need his help." said Daniel.

"No. He won't come." said Mary.

"Why?" he asked confused.

"He has just recovered from his injury. Besides, there are things he needs to attend here in Cheonliang." she replied.

"You guys are in Cheonliang?" he asked.

"Yes. Now here is your answer. He won't come." she said as she hung up. 

Daniel sighed before turning to look at his team mates.

"Guys, I don't think Vin Jin is coming. It's ok though. There are others who will lend us their strength." said Daniel.
