Chapter: A Visit to the Devil (i)
Inside a quiet hotel in Incheon, the night had settled into silence.
Jake, Lineman, Jaygeyong Na, and the rest of the Incheon crew were fast asleep, their exhausted bodies sprawled across the beds and couches.
Up on the rooftop, beneath the moonlight, two figures stood alone.
Daniel Park.
Yuujin Jin.
The wind danced lightly between them, brushing through their hair, cold and clean under the night sky.
Yuujin leaned on the railing, his long limbs loose, his sharp eyes watching the endless lights of Incheon stretch to the horizon.
"Daniel," he said quietly, his voice deep but calm.
"You said you know Gun Park… So that means you also know where he is right now."
Daniel hesitated before responding.
"Yeah… I do. He's in Seoul Prison."
Yuujin nodded once, slowly. His gaze didn't shift.
"Are you free tomorrow? Because I want to meet him."
The wind blew stronger now, catching their clothes like banners in a silent war. Yuujin's messy hair swept away from one eye, revealing the calm black void underneath.
Daniel didn't respond at first.
He didn't like the sound of that.
He turned toward Yuujin. That same hollow look. No anger. No smile. No fear. Just a man emptied out.
"So?" Yuujin asked again.
"What's your answer?"
Daniel looked down, fighting his instincts. Every part of him wanted to say no — You're not ready, He's too dangerous, This is a bad idea. But deep inside, he knew…
This wasn't something he could stop.
Daniel looked up, firm now. Determined.
"Alright. Get ready. We leave for Seoul tomorrow."
Yuujin didn't nod. Didn't smile.
Just turned his head slowly, eyes to the stars above, as if he could already hear Gun's voice in the sky.
Daniel walked back down into the room.
He opened his luggage and looked at something inside — his bigger self, sleeping.
He packed quietly, his heart pounding the whole time.

Next Morning
Jaygeyong Na saw them off at the hotel entrance.
"If anything goes wrong, just call me," he said, gripping Yuujin's shoulder.
Yuujin didn't reply. He just offered a faint smile — barely visible.
They boarded Jaygeyong's private bus and began their journey toward Seoul… the land of monsters.
Yuujin leaned back in the seat and shut his eyes.

Seoul — Hours Later
The city skyline cut like a blade through the clouds. Daniel hailed a taxi. The moment was silent, heavy.
They reached the Seoul Penitentiary*.
Cold. Gray. Towering.
Inside, the visiting chamber was as lifeless as a morgue.
Gun was already seated, waiting behind the glass.
His eyes were closed. His posture was calm, like a king on a throne, even in shackles.
Daniel stepped in first.
He took a breath and said,
"Master… there's someone who wants to meet you."
Gun opened his eyes.
Pressure slammed into the room.
He looked at Daniel, unamused.
"When did I become a museum exhibit… that anyone can come look at?"
Daniel froze. His throat dried instantly.
He knew how Gun operated. No one met him. Not unless he allowed it.
"H-he's… he's not just anyone."
Before Daniel could finish, the temperature in the room dropped.
The lights flickered.
The shadows in the hallway bent.
A tall, slender figure stepped through the door, each footstep calm, echoing.
Yuujin Jin.
The pressure shifted again — like a predator entered a cage with another predator.
Yuujin stood in front of Gun, hands in his pockets, body still. His face didn't move, but something in the air changed.
His eyes — black, cold, and bottomless — didn't blink.
He didn't even speak.
But something about him screamed rage.
The kind of rage that doesn't shout — it waits. Coiled. Ready.
Daniel's heart was racing. He didn't understand why, but it felt like something ancient was in the room.
Gun stared.
Then…
He smiled.
A wide, wicked, knowing grin.
"Ohhh…"
"I didn't expect the one you brought… to be you."
The tension tightened like a rope about to snap.
Gun leaned forward, eyes sharp, grin wider.
His voice dropped into a cold purr.
"Mute-boy~."
