Even though both of us were done, we still had to stick around, and the mage's sword training was in full swing as I could see them from afar.

"Are you tired?" Laura asked both of us.

Of course, we were tired, we just dueled against her and then had to swing 1,000 times, but I wasn't going to say it.

"I'm tired," Mia spoke before looking away, causing Laura to let out a chuckle.

"So Xavier, tell me about yourself; I wasn't told a male was joining this year; I didn't think they would be," Laura said.

"Oh, well I'm Xavier Quinn..."

As I expected, she cut me off after only hearing my surname. Sure, coming from a good family is alright, but when your dad is the strongest magic knight in the city, as his child, you'll be expected to live up to him.

"Your father is Quinn, the head commander?" Laura asked.

"Yes," I answered.

"Hmm, must be hard, does he force you to train?" Laura asked.

"No, I wanted to become a magic knight on my own, that's the only way I could possibly achieve my goal"

"Your goal, what is your goal?"

Well, shit, I blabbed too much; my goal is to kill a demon queen that I haven't even heard anything about, apart from beasts, I haven't heard of two nations going to war.

"Just something I have in my head; it isn't something grand like being a commander; I just want to explore the world," I replied.

"A modest goal; what about you, Mia?"

"I'm Mia from a small farming village to the west"

"The west, how far west?" Laura asked and Mia couldn't speak as she faced downward.

"Tomorrow, both of you are going to duel; I'm going to use both of you to teach," Laura continued without talking to Mia.

Then I understood why Mia couldn't speak; a while back, maybe some months ago, I heard there was an attack on a small farming village to the west, and out of 30 farmers, only 3 survived, a swarm of beasts suddenly attacked the village killing even the magic knight sent for protection.

If Mia was from that village, then there was a chance one or both of her parents were dead; of course, I couldn't ask her directly because that would bring up old memories.

"So there's nothing else today, can we go?" I asked.

"I usually don't have this many students to teach, but you can go, only because both of you are going to do double the work tomorrow," Laura said as she walked towards the rest of the students, still swinging their swords.

"Are you tired? Why do you want to go back, it's not like there's something there to do?" Mia spoke.

"So both of us alone in the room and nothing to do," I muttered. I think she understood where I was heading as a smile formed on her face, but she quickly looked away.

Mia was so cute. I had already copied a skill from her, so I wasn't going to get a new skill, but I wanted a second taste.

"There's nothing to do" Mia muttered in a low tone.

"Really, alright, I'm going to rest and take off my clothes, bye," I spoke as I returned the wooden sword to its rack and walked away.

I saw Mia returning her sword, but I couldn't hear her footsteps behind me. I thought she was going to follow me, but apparently not; maybe she went to the dining hall. I was looking forward to raising her legs in the air.

I passed the mages who were still on footwork and grip, the lesson seemed more intense than the morning lesson, and I could understand.

There really was nothing to do in the academy apart from training, but I hadn't yet explored the academy; there was a big library, a research center, and a crystal tower.

The crystal tower was a tower in the academy that housed the crystal orb, which supplied Mana to the barrier surrounding the city to protect it from Ariel's attacks from magic beasts.

Maybe I should visit the library since I have nothing to do...or maybe not; after entering the dorm, I turned around, and Mia was at my back.

I still had no idea how she managed to do that every time, but now I didn't care about anything else; it was time to get to work, but I was first going to tease her.

We finally got to the room, and I walked in and immediately lay on my bed; I began stretching my body and closed my eyes.

"Sleep" I spoke and saw Mia standing there looking at me.

"What's wrong? Aren't you sleepy after all that work? I thought we came to sleep," I spoke again, but this time, I got down from the bed and took off my top.

"You meant sleep, oh...I thought you meant something else" Mia quickly faced away and wanted to move towards her bed.

"I'm just joking" I whispered in her eyes before kissing her ear lobes.

Mia turned around immediately and crashed her lips against mine, she was kissing me so intensely I couldn't believe it was the same person.

Our tongues intertwined and fought for dominance while my hand went to the back of her clothes, which was where the buttons were, and I began to unbutton her clothes.

Once all of the buttons were off, without taking off the clothes, I began to loosen her undergarment, and once I was done, both of us broke the kiss at the same time as we had the same idea.

Mia took a step back, giving me space to take off her top, and I just did that along with her undergarment, exposing her peaks.

"Room 19, right?" Mary walked through the hallway till she got to room 19, and without knocking, she opened the door and froze.
