Chapter 320: Are You That Eager to Check Out the Girls on the Beach, Lucifer?
Time passed, and soon it was the next morning when the yacht docked at a beautiful tropical island. The weather was warm, sunny, and pleasant, making the place seem like paradise compared to the usual hustle and bustle of the city.
There was a luxurious hotel, which stood in front of a pristine white sand beach with clear blue waters stretching as far as the eye can see. Palm trees swayed gently in the breeze, adding to the idyllic setting.
The group had already left their cabins to get off the ship. They were eager to explore the new surroundings and experience everything that awaited them. However, Lucifer was still inside, taking his time as he prepared himself.
After a few more minutes, the young man finally emerged from below deck, dressed in nothing but his swimming trunks and flip-flops.
Layla, Zoe, Madison, and Eva were standing at the end of the ramp with the guys behind them. When Lucifer joined the group, he saw that everyone was staring at him with awe-filled eyes.
"What?" He raised an eyebrow and glanced down at his body to make sure that nothing was wrong. "Is there something wrong with me?"
"How are you still fine after drinking so much yesterday?!" Jack asked as he stepped closer to Lucifer and examined his body closely, as if expecting to find signs of drunkenness somewhere on him. "I mean, you drank a lot more than we did, but look at you now... There's not a trace of a hangover or anything! Don't tell me you cheated us and weren't even drinking alcohol yesterday!"
Lucifer just shrugged in response to Jack's statement and said in a nonchalant way, "Don't blame me for your weakness, Jack. You guys should work on building up your alcohol tolerance. It's important for men to be able to drink well, don't you agree?"
"Hahaha... Easy for you to say, but not everyone has an iron liver like you, Lucifer." Nathan commented, laughing as he watched Jack glare angrily at Lucifer. He then patted the other young man on his back and added, "Come on, man. Let's go enjoy our vacation and leave the competition for later. After all, it's not every day we get to come to such a wonderful island!"
Ethan and James also chimed in with similar remarks, trying to calm down Jack, who seemed to be on edge. But the young man wasn't willing to back off yet.
"Whatever... Let's settle this later then. I won't lose to you in drinking again!" Jack declared as he walked away, heading down the ramp and joining the girls waiting for them on the pier.
Ethan sighed and shook his head. "I wonder what's wrong with Jack. He has been acting strange since yesterday."
"It's probably just his competitive spirit," James suggested with a shrug. "You know how he hates to lose, and Lucifer beat him many times yesterday. He must be feeling frustrated about it."
"Maybe, but I hope it doesn't get in the way of us having fun... I am not looking for another drama..." Ethan replied before turning his attention to Lucifer and smiling, "I had enough trouble with you already."
Lucifer smiled at the remark and laughed, "You were the one who asked for trouble. But don't worry; I'll behave myself this time."
With those words, Lucifer and the others started to make their way down the ramp and joined the rest of the group.
The girls were also ready for a day of fun in the sun. They were all dressed in revealing bikinis, covered by sheer beach dresses that flowed around them as they moved. The garments were designed to give them an air of mystery while still allowing others to catch a glimpse of what lay beneath.
When the guys arrived at the end of the ramp, the first thing Jack did was walk over to Layla and try to take her bag from her.
"Here, Layla, let me help you with that." He offered in a polite tone, but she refused his help.
"It's fine; I got it," Layla answered, pulling the handle away from him and holding it tightly. Then, she gave Lucifer a quick glance before turning back to Jack with a forced smile. "Thank you, though."
"O-oh... Alright..." Jack muttered in disappointment at being turned down by her. "Let's go, then."
"Yeah," Nathan nodded in agreement, but as he was about to take Zoe's bag, he stopped halfway through, seeing that the girl had already started walking away. He chuckled awkwardly and followed after her. Explore more stories at My Virtual Library Empire
When James turned towards Eva, he found that his girlfriend was looking at him with a frown on her face. She didn't seem happy with him at the moment, and he knew that the reason for that must have been what happened between them yesterday. He sighed and approached her slowly, trying to be as gentle as possible when he offered his help, "Eva, here, let me carry that for you."
However, Eva simply ignored his words. Instead of accepting his assistance, she walked past him and joined Lucifer's side, where she grabbed his arm and pulled him along. "Come on, let's go, Lucifer," she said, her eyes fixed straight ahead as they walked together. "I don't want to spend all day here waiting."
"Sure, whatever you say, Eva," Lucifer grinned, amused at the situation, before calling Layla to join him on his other side. "Come, my dear sister, let's get our bags to our hotel rooms. I want to go to the beach soon."
"Hehe... Are you that eager to check out the girls on the beach, Lucifer?" Layla giggled while she moved to Lucifer's other side. She was wearing a red two-piece bikini with a transparent red dress on top, her hair loose and flowing down to her hips.
"No, no! I don't have any ulterior motives here." He laughed at her playful accusation, "I just really love the feeling of warm sand between my toes and the cool ocean water washing over me."
