MAHABHARAT: Reborn as a younger brother of Krishna with a system

Chapter 25: Chapter 25:The impossible challenge

---

Draupadi stood still as the golden bow was unveiled.

It had no string.

It had no name.

But the moment it was rolled into the central hall, the air grew heavy.

"This," Krishna said, "is the weapon of gods who regret war."

King Drupada narrowed his eyes. "You think this will impress suitors?"

"I think it will filter them."

Draupadi stepped forward.

"Can anyone draw it?"

Krishna grinned. "Only four. And none of them wear fool's jewelry."

She blinked.

"Who?"

"Arjuna. Karna. Agasthya. And… me."

Draupadi smirked. "You won't compete."

"No," Krishna agreed. "But the others will."

She stepped closer. "You mean to rig my Swayamvar."

"I mean to write it correctly," he replied. "Your heart belongs to dharma. I'm only helping dharma aim better."

That night, Krishna and Agasthya departed the city silently, following an old trail through northern woods.

They moved like wind.

Fast.

Unseen.

The Lakshagriha fire had scattered many stories—but Krishna knew the truth. The Pandavas weren't dead. Only hiding.

In a dusty village by the Yamuna, they found the house: worn, simple, filled with the scent of barley and soot.

Inside, five men sat under a flickering oil lamp, eating in silence.

Agasthya stepped in first.

All five stood at once.

Yudhishthira's eyes widened.

Bheema reached for a club that wasn't there.

Arjuna stepped forward.

"You found us."

"No," Krishna said, entering behind Agasthya. "We came where fate led us."

---

Over warm food and candlelight, Krishna laid out the plan.

"The Swayamvar is public. The bow is celestial. Only one of you can draw it."

Arjuna shook his head. "We're still in hiding."

"Then arrive in shadow," Agasthya said.

Arjuna looked at him. "What happens if I fail?"

"You won't," Agasthya replied simply.

Arjuna paused.

Then nodded once.

As if he too had been waiting for someone to say it aloud.

---

Outside, under the stars, Krishna leaned toward Agasthya.

"Do you feel it?"

"Yes," he said. "The bow was never the challenge."

Krishna smiled faintly.

"It's the arrow that breaks the future."
