Charlotte Pudding and Reiju stood before the manga bookshelf, their eyes filled with curiosity. Pudding, quick to adjust after her earlier hesitation, had already picked out a manga with excitement. She held it up with a bright smile.

"I'll choose this one~~~" she said, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm.

Logan, intrigued, glanced at the manga Pudding had selected. His eyes widened in disbelief.

Logan couldn't help but chuckle to himself. Really, Pudding? Of all the powers in the multiverse, you pick Cyclops? He tried to imagine the three-eyed girl wielding Cyclops' optic blast, and the image was both amusing and concerning.

If she can control it, this might actually be a perfect fit, Logan mused. But if she can't…

He could already see the chaos that might unfold if Pudding couldn't keep her optic blast in check. The thought of her accidentally discharging beams of energy from her third eye at the wrong moment made him chuckle again. I better not stand in her line of sight.

She must have a deeper reason for this choice… Logan thought as he observed her calm, composed demeanor.

The next few days passed in relative peace as the crew continued their training. Logan, preoccupied with other matters, hadn't checked his system notifications for a while. But when he finally opened the logs, he was astonished by the progress his crew had made:

Logan opened the system interface and saw that the icon of the fifth treasure chest was glowing with vibrant, colorful light. This chest was different from the previous ones—something special was inside.

Without hesitation, Logan unlocked the chest. As the chest opened, a colorful glow filled the room, and a special icon appeared—resembling a flashlight beaming upward. The head of the beam was a vague, shadowy figure.

Logan mentally connected with the icon, and the system's voice explained the new skill:

Logan's eyes widened in surprise. A summoning skill… from any dimension? The possibilities were endless, but the randomness could lead to unexpected results. He could summon a powerful ally… or someone completely useless.

Still, Logan was intrigued. This is too good not to try.

Without further delay, Logan activated the summoning circle. White light filled the room as a dark golden magic circle appeared on the floor. The swirling energies of the magic rippled through the room, and a figure slowly began to emerge from the center of the circle.

As the form became clearer, Logan's initial excitement turned to shock—and then mild disappointment.

Logan stood frozen, staring at the towering figure in front of him. Heracles?! His first summon from the newly unlocked [Dimension Summon] skill had turned out to be none other than the mighty hero himself.

Logan's expectations had been for something a little less… massive. A beautiful girl, perhaps? But instead, fate had sent him the burliest of men—a demigod known for his immense strength and legendary labors.

Heracles, with his muscular frame and imposing presence, remained silent, observing his surroundings with a stoic expression. He didn't seem too concerned about why he had been summoned, but his sheer presence alone made the room feel smaller.

Logan sighed inwardly. Of all the random possibilities, why did I get the protagonist from Whitebeard's chosen manga ?

"Hey, big guy," Logan said, trying to lighten the mood, "I didn't really need a boulder-crushing demigod today, but welcome anyway."

Heracles didn't respond. His intense, battle-hardened gaze continued to scan the room, as if he was assessing whether there were any threats. Logan could feel the weight of the silence pressing down. It wasn't that Heracles was intimidating Logan—more like the situation was simply… awkward.

Logan ran a hand through his hair, unsure of what to do next. I can't exactly send him back now. Not yet, anyway. He's supposed to stick around for up to 24 hours, unless I send him away sooner.

He stepped forward and tried again. "You know, Heracles, you don't have to crush anything or anyone. We're good here. How about we just… chill?"

Heracles remained silent, but he didn't appear aggressive. That, at least, was a small comfort.
