Martial Arts Worlds

Chapter 531: End of the Championship

Boom!

Door got blown out of its hinges, and Imperius ran inside the stone basement of the modest-looking house.

The blood had barely dried up, and there were still signs of the dark ceremony happening over here.

"Alright…"

Imperius opened the book, walked circles around the ceremony circle, and opened his mouth.

"The Gods of Old and New—the Dead and Alive—take back the one who does not belong here, the death bringer, the darkness that threatens our world, the merchant of not our world!"

A cold wind breezed through the basement and made the book shut down with a bang—a sound that echoed through the empty room.

Imperius pulled out a lighter, ignited a flame, and burned the pages.

A sound of whispering echoed in the Death Merchant's ears, and that whispering turned into a horrendous scream.

"No!"

He pointed his finger at Kiernan, wanting to shoot another bullet, but then the space around him began to warp and twist.

The heavy space crushed him, swallowing his screams as he vanished into nothingness.

"Huff… Huff…"

Amara smiled weakly, breathing heavily, with sweat falling off her beautiful face.

She was lucky, as her potion was about to finish digesting, and without the power of the potion, she would die almost instantaneously!

The purple dome disappeared from the stadium, and the bright light of the sun descended over them.

The dark clouds disappeared as if they were never here, and the aura of oppression disappeared as well.

The citizens noticed the difference—the feeling of death was gone—and they were able to breathe again.

From her pocket, Amara pulled out the blue cards and threw them all to the sky—they multiplied—and thousands of cards started to fall from the sky.

They scattered across the streets, and the citizens picked them up.

"Martial Order? What's that…"

With a smile on her face, Amara looked at the two grandmasters, who looked at her with raised eyebrows, and smiled cheekily.

"Since we've already shown ourselves to the world, we might as well give them our calling cards!"

Pankratios nodded, wiped the blood off his staff, and then used it as a walking cane.

"We should get going, as I don't want to deal with the aftermath that is about to happen, but like Xerxus suggested, we'll be having a meeting with everyone soon.

"A proper meeting, face-to-face."

Amara listened, and her eyes sparkled with excitement—she nodded excitedly—and agreed to it wholeheartedly.

She always thought it was a shame that Martial Order seemed so distant with the nicknames and all the secrecy.

The days went by, and the God Island incident had become the main talking point of the whole world.

The championship, which was supposed to be celebrating the young talent of the world, ended tragically.

About thirty thousand people met their demise.

Thus, with the Navy swarming the island, and the Police Force from fifteen different countries, it was decided that the championship would come to its end.

It didn't take long for the championship organizer to find out that the Blood of the Martial God was stolen, so to keep that a secret, they decided to void the entire championship.

The representatives of the countries slowly departed from the island and headed back to their countries.

However, something else was a very popular topic—Martial Order—as people kept wondering what that actually was about.

Some considered them as heroes, but some feared them—however, since the Fleet Admiral of the Navy was part of it, it gave it some credibility.

However, on the other hand, the Pirate Immortal was also part of it.

It wasn't officially accepted as a legitimate organization, so it was an illegal organization and in this world, it was frowned upon—as there were many dark organizations.

Those dark organizations were basically cults that worship dark gods of the past.

"Hey, how're you doing, boy?"

Kiernan crouched, and Fen jumped into his arms—he snuggled close, happy to see his master—and started licking his face.

"Where did you get him, Kiernan?"

Julian asked as he looked at the beautiful dog—or a wolf—whose dark blue fur looked as if it was tinged with silver.

"I found him during my travels. He only reveals himself to those whom he trusts, which is why none of you have seen him before, but he's been with us for a while."

Kiernan said.

"Why didn't you tell us about him?"

Julian asked.

"I didn't know what I was going to do with him before. Keep it or not, I was conflicted because of the potential danger he could bring to us.

"I've decided to keep him."

Kiernan said and scratched Fen behind his ears, which he clearly liked, as his tail wagged behind him.

"Mmh…"

Julian nodded.

With a side gaze, Kiernan noticed that his father was standing in the kitchen, looking out of the window, and saw the people with cameras just standing outside.

They wanted a scoop of his experience in the God Island.

"They aren't planning to leave me alone, huh?"

Kiernan said with a wry smile.

Karma nodded.

"I need to talk to you about something, father."

Kiernan gave Fen to Julian and walked over to him to stand beside him while they gazed out of the window.

"Yes, what is it?"

Karma looked at his son.

"I've decided to drop out of the school."

Kiernan said.

With a shocked expression, Karma said.

"What on earth are you talking about? You are in your last semester, and there are only eight months left!"

"I know, but… This country is too small. I've been planning this for a while, but I'd like to go visit the tier one countries.

"If I want to really use the Age of Growth to the fullest, I cannot waste any more time in this place. I noticed that as a Martial Master, it's extremely hard to advance.

"It will be extremely slow, and I would waste eight months. I don't want to waste any more time."

Kiernan said with a deep sigh.

"…"

Karma looked at his son silently, then nodded, and sighed.

"I know how you felt. It's one of the reasons why I also left New Rakuya back in my childhood."

Karma said with a sigh and then asked.

"What about Karuza High? There is still another nationals for you left to win."

"Haha, they don't need me. They have Julian, after all."

Kiernan said and looked at Julian, who was playing with the dark blue-furred dog.

"You have my blessings. Please, just avoid the Dark Countries, if you can. They are places where you shouldn't go."

Karma said.

"Sure…"

Kiernan smiled.
