Martial Emperor of Blue Star, Turned into a Blood Slave Girl by a Vampire Princess

vol. 1 chapter 6 - First Punishment

Isabella stood silently outside the door, her black-and-white maid skirt perfectly still.
From within the bedroom came the sound of slaps—and muffled, trembling sobs.
Smack!

“Ugh… damn you… you old witch!”
Smack!
“I… I swear… I’ll rip that smug mouth off your face!”

The girl's voice shook with pain.
Isabella lowered her gaze, her fingers gently tracing the edge of the silver tray in her hands.
“I did warn you, Miss Degrienne.”

She spoke softly to the air, as if her words were meant for the silver-haired girl currently being disciplined inside.
Suddenly, there was a faint tearing of fabric from within, followed by Catherine’s delighted chuckle: “Oh my, the dress is ruined~”
Isabella lowered her head, her expression still blank. She stood unmoving at the door like a statue.

Until Catherine’s lazy voice called out from inside, “Isabella, bring a new dress.”
Without a sound, the maid stepped into the room—already holding a replacement gown.
She knelt beside the velvet bed, her movements fluid and practiced as she changed the torn clothes on Degrienne, carefully avoiding the reddened marks on her skin.

“How unsightly,” Catherine murmured, resting her chin in her hand as she watched the scene unfold.
Degrienne clenched her teeth, her body stiff, allowing the maid to dress her without resistance.
As Isabella tied the final satin ribbon, Catherine waved a hand. “You may go.”

With the door shutting behind her, silence once again filled the room.
Degrienne lay sprawled on the velvet bed, her silver-white hair a tangled mess across the pillow.
She buried her flushed face into the crook of her arm. Her slender shoulders trembled slightly, and the fiery pain burning across her backside made her eyes sting.
A tear slipped silently from her eye, soaking into the bedsheets.

“Mm…”
She bit her lip hard, swallowing the sob back down.
Live to fight another day… For now, she couldn’t afford to keep mouthing off—

That lunatic’s hand stung worse than a thunder tribulation.
Catherine sat elegantly beside the bed, her fingers gently brushing over the reddened skin.
“Does it hurt?”

Her voice was so gentle, it was almost surreal. “I do feel bad about it, you know.”
Degrienne stiffened but didn’t have the strength to pull away.
That cool touch began to circle the wounded area, carrying with it a strange magic that dulled the pain, allowing her to relax—just a little.

“You see, I never wanted things to go this way.”
Catherine leaned closer, her silver hair cascading across Degrienne’s neck. “But you were just too naughty… breaking my favorite mirror.”
Suddenly, her fingertip pressed harder on the bruise. “Every time I strike you, my heart aches too.”

“Hnng…” Degrienne winced.
Just as she was beginning to feel deceived by the tenderness, Catherine abruptly stood.
Her eyes landed on the bedsheet, torn into strips, and narrowed slightly.

“Oh my my…”
She picked up a piece of the ripped cloth, her lips curving into a manic smile. “My little Degrienne, you even shredded the bedsheet…”
A chill shot through Degrienne’s spine. She instinctively tried to scramble away.

Too late—
“Seems the lesson wasn’t thorough enough.”
Catherine pulled a long thorned whip from god-knows-where, dark red magic coursing through its length.

She tilted her head, voice sickly sweet and utterly terrifying:
“Don’t think it’s over so soon!”
The tip of the whip glided along Degrienne’s trembling back, sending a wave of goosebumps across her skin.

Catherine leaned in close, her sharp fangs grazing the flushed tip of Degrienne’s ear.
“This time… I’ll make sure you never forget what it means to misbehave.”
(Scene Redacted)

When Catherine finally lifted Degrienne into her arms again, the silver-haired girl had gone utterly limp.
A feverish flush tinted her pale skin, and damp lashes still clung to drying tears.
“Isabella, prepare dinner.”

Catherine gently adjusted the girl in her arms, brushing aside her disheveled hair with lazy elegance.
“I’m going to introduce our little one to her new home.”
“As you command, my lady.”

Isabella gave a graceful bow, her figure dissolving into shadow and vanishing down the hallway.
Degrienne stirred, trying to wriggle free—but Catherine held her tighter against her chest.
“Behave.”

“If you move again, I won’t hesitate to pick up where we left off~”
Degrienne clenched her jaw, crimson eyes flickering with humiliation.
She could only let Catherine carry her down the darkened hall.

“This is the library,”
Catherine nudged open a carved wooden door with her toe. “It holds the texts of every nation I’ve conquered over the past three thousand years.”
“You may not recognize the writing now, but you’ll have plenty of time to study later.”

Degrienne turned her face away, refusing to respond.
Catherine was unbothered and continued on.
“That’s the bathhouse.”

She pointed to a door inlaid with blood-red gemstones. “There’s a rose bath big enough for ten inside. After dinner, I’ll personally help you wash up.”
Her fingertips traced the exposed curve of Degrienne’s ankle, drawing a shiver from the girl.
As they turned a corridor into the rear courtyard, a dozen silver-haired, red-eyed maids were tending the garden.

Some polished statues, others trimmed roses, and a few giggled as they nibbled at each other’s necks.
At Catherine’s approach, all motion stopped. The maids lined up in perfect formation and bowed:
“Greetings, Mistress~”

Catherine lifted the chin of the nearest one. “You all seem to be enjoying yourselves?”
Her voice was frigid. The entire line of maids flinched in unison.
In the next moment, she suddenly thrust Degrienne forward, exposing the silver-haired girl to the stares of a dozen crimson eyes.

“Remember this face.”
Catherine’s nails dug into the soft flesh beneath Degrienne’s arm. “From today onward, she is your little mistress.”
Her voice chilled to ice. “You are to fulfill her every need—but if she escapes…”

The maids shivered and nodded in unison.
“We understand, Mistress.”
The lead maid gave a deep bow. Her crimson eyes were darker than the rest, and her strength hovered around Innate Tier 3.

She studied Degrienne curiously, then smiled sweetly.
“Our little mistress is so beautiful—more delicate than any of us.”
“Truly, truly!”

“Her silver hair is shinier than ours!”
“Her red eyes are so pure!”
The maids crowded forward with gleeful exclamations, like children fawning over a new toy.

Degrienne’s stomach turned.
These seemingly innocent girls… every one of them had human blood on their hands.
In her eyes, they were nothing ✪ Nоvеlіgһt ✪ (Official version) but demons who reveled in slaughter.

“Ugh…”
She gagged—but Catherine mistook the sound.
“What’s wrong? Hungry?”

Catherine gently rubbed her back, then turned to the maids.
“Prepare some fresh blood tea—warm.”
Degrienne struggled to contain her revulsion as she began evaluating their strength.

Most were between Postnatal Tier 6 and Innate Tier 3. Not the highest realms—
But as bloodkin, their physical bodies vastly outclassed humans—and their blood magic was unpredictable.
Even if she was unbeatable among peers, to overpower them all, she’d need to at least reach Postnatal Tier 5.

Then she remembered—
When she was being spanked earlier, the system had issued a notification: +5 Desire Points.
As humiliating as it had been, it was undeniably her fastest path to strength right now.

The Lightning Induction Body Tempering Technique typically took ten years to reach the Minor Accomplishment stage.
She was still five years short.
Which meant… if she went through another “punishment” like that…

Her face turned crimson. The thought made her want to die on the spot.
But her survival instinct wouldn’t let her ignore it.
“Mistress~ The little mistress is blushing!”

One twin-tailed maid pointed excitedly at her.
Catherine chuckled, her tongue darting out to teasingly lick Degrienne’s burning cheek.
“Aww, how shy.”

“D-disgusting!”
Degrienne shoved at Catherine’s chin, but the vampire merely caught her hand—and gave her fingertip a gentle nibble.
Then she went further, licking from cheek to nose, and finally leaving a wet mark on Degrienne’s brow.

“My my~ Mistress is being so affectionate!”
“Our little mistress is so lucky~”
The maids clutched their cheeks, sighing in envy.

Degrienne trembled in shame, her pointed ears flushing to a deep crimson.
“Mmm… even sweeter than I imagined,” Catherine licked her lips, then tightened her grip slightly. “But now…”
Her fingertip tapped Degrienne’s burning ear.

“It’s time to help my darling replenish her energy.”
She carried Degrienne into the dining hall.
Twelve maids lined up in precision, each holding a silver tray.

“Tonight’s main course is moon elf vein blood,” one maid recited, “paired with virgin dew.”
Catherine settled into her chair, placing Degrienne on her lap. “And grilled venison fillet.”
In the silver goblet, dark red liquid shimmered with a strange gleam.

Degrienne stared at her own reflection in the cup—
That silver-haired, crimson-eyed stranger… and her stomach churned.
“First, hold the knife like this…”

Catherine’s cool hand guided Degrienne’s small fingers around the silverware.
“In two weeks, you’ll be attending a banquet as my companion.”
“So let’s begin your first lesson in table manners.”

“If you make a mistake…” Her voice dipped ominously.
“You wouldn’t want to be punished… in front of all these maids… would you?”
