On the other hand his friendship with Yang Kai had grown as well, the two continued to practice together. Wang Feng believed that he had successfully been able to made a sense of trust between themselves.

Today, Wang Feng had decided to complete something that he had put on hold for a month. But before leaving his cabin, Wang Feng wanted to check his status.

Wang Feng knew that after what he was about to do, the plot might get kick-started and once that happens, he might not have any time to rest easy, at least till he reaches the peak of the MORTAL Realm Stages.

Sighing for a second, Wang Feng reached his destination. There, in the clearing close to Yang Kai's house, Wang Feng saw Yang Kai practicing steadily.

Wang Feng admired that drive of this new friend of his. Although he had been stuck in the same realm for more than a year, and knew that he couldn't breakthrough because of his damaged physique, Yang Kai still persisted in his practice.

Taking a deep breath, Wang Feng approached Yang Kai with his usual laid back attitude and a smile. "Practicing as always I see."

Yang Kai who heard the voice, stopped and looked towards the approaching Wang Feng with a small smile, "well, not all of us can be a genius now can we?"

Yang Kai said with a teasing smile. Wang Feng reached in front of him and smiled mysteriously. He looked Yang Kai in the eye, 'here goes nothing.' and said, "ohh! And what if someone CAN be allowed to become a genius?"

Yang Kai laughed, "even then, one should always practice steadily.", Yang Kai spoke, not fully understanding Wang Feng's words for a moment.

He stopped laughing when he saw Wang Feng just continued to look at him with a mysterious smile. Yang Kai eyes suddenly widened as he replayed the word Wang Feng had spoken and grew serious.

He now understood what Wang Feng wanted to convey. Yang Kai sighed and shook his head, "*haha* you shouldn't joke about stuff like that man.".

Not wanting to be rude or anything, but Yang Kai didn't think that someone of Wang Feng's cultivation would have a solution for his problem, where even Immortal Ascension Realm cultivators were unable to do anything.

Wang Feng knew about that fact and could understand why Yang Kai didn't believe him, but that's alright as the results will be apparent to him after a bit.

"But ... What if I am not joking.", Wang Feng spoke with a pause. Yang Kai froze again and turned to look at Wang Feng, right in the eye. Seeing the clear, serious eyes of his new friend, Yang Kai finally felt some hope.

He gulped, his gaze wavering, he clinched his fisted lightly and asked in a low voice, "How?", his voice was filled with disbelief, hope and endless yearning.

Wang Feng looked around left and right before saying, "let's go inside. It's not a good idea to talk about such stuff in the open.". Yang Kai took a deep breath and nodded.

The two then walked into the house and Yang Kai closed the door before looking at Wang Feng, indicating for him to answer his previous question.

Wang Feng on the other hand observed the inside of the room until his eyes landed on a piece of black stone on the bed, his eyes lingered for just a second longer before he turned to look at Yang Kai.

"The answer to your question is quite simple Brother Yang.", Wang Feng started as Yang Kai started to listen intently. "Your condition stems from the imbalance of your body's meridians, which can only happen in two conditions...."

Yang Kai was surprised. No, it wasn't because he found out about the imbalance, He already knew about that. What surprised came from Wang Feng's ability to identify that fact. This raised his hopes a bit more.

"The first condition is that you suffered a severe injury that severed one of your meridians, which obviously didn't and couldn't happen because that level of injury can kill even True Element Realm Cultivators."

"The Second condition is that ... One of your parents were somehow corroded with harmful substances, which in turn caused traces of those harmful substances to be transferred into you, but for that to happen, the injury must have occurred before you were conceived."

Taking a deep breath, Yang Kai's eyes turned serious, by now it became apparent that Wang Feng understood his case well and might have a genuine way to heal him.

So he seriously listened to what Wang Feng told him next, "the solution to your condition is simple, but also complicated.... You will need to reform your body, which will eliminate all defects in your body."

The hope Yang Kai had gained was suddenly blown away. It wasn't that he didn't believe Wang Feng. He did believe him as the solution seemed logical. The reason for it was, doing such a thing is practically impossible for him.

He then grabbed the black 'stone' with a grin visible on his face. Just as he did, he heard a *ding* sound in his mind. 'So it notifies me about a mission's completion? Then how did I even miss that last one!'
