Marvel: AS A PRINCE IN ASGARD

Chapter 49: CHAPTER 49

"Report! The Blue Spirit family of the affiliated civilization has been attacked by the Dark Quadrant! The stationed guards have been wiped out! The leader of the assault is none other than Supergiant of the Black Order!"

Inside the Tiangong Throne, a battleship of unparalleled grandeur, constructed with immeasurable resources and cosmic energy, a low-ranking Angel rushed forward.

Her voice trembled with urgency as she relayed the latest intelligence on Thanos and his forces.

Ragna , seated upon his magnificent throne, ran his fingers over its intricate celestial engravings, his expression unreadable.

"Supergiant?"

He murmured the name, his voice low yet filled with undeniable weight.

A moment of silence passed, before a sharp glint flashed in his golden eyes.

"It seems no one has given you the message yet."

Then—

A smirk.

"Thanos… here I come."

Rising from his throne, Ragna dismissed Keisha and Lian Bing as they instinctively stepped forward, eager to lead the charge.

The Journey to Lan Lingxing

Lan Lingxing lay at the outer edge of the Andromeda Galaxy, a considerable distance from Angel Star.

No direct jump points led there.

A conventional fleet would take too long.

If they wanted to intervene immediately, there was only one option—hyperspace teleportation.

Keisha and Lian Bing wouldn't make it in time.

Ragna contemplated for a moment, then removed his gauntlet.

Within his grasp, a gleaming blue light pulsed with infinite power—

The Space Stone.

He handed it to Keisha, his voice steady.

"Stand by for support at all times."

With that, he activated his trump card, a reward claimed after forcing the Collector to retreat.

Space warped violently—

And with the Void Throne and Varina, Ragna vanished, instantly reappearing over Lan Lingxing.

The planet below trembled beneath his arrival.

The Blue Spirit people—a civilization of immense numbers and devout faith—were facing obliteration.

Ragna had no intention of allowing Supergiant to slaughter half of them.

Lan Lingxing: A World in Peril

On the planet's surface, Supergiant stood among the ruins, her cold, piercing gaze sweeping across the remnants of the Blue Spirit civilization.

Supergiant— the most ruthless and mentally formidable member of the Black Order.

Unlike her brethren—who relied on raw power, weapons, or tactics—Supergiant's strength lay in pure mental domination.

Her telepathic might could shatter minds, twist wills, and unravel entire armies before they could even raise their weapons.

Leading hordes of Chitauri, Kiritas, and Vanguard guards, she had already divided the population with precise efficiency.

"Old men to the left. Children to the right. A perfect balance, as all things should be."

"This is Thanos' will."

For the Dark Quadrant, the practice of culling civilizations was routine.

They had done this countless times, and to many of Thanos' followers, the logic seemed sound.

Fewer people meant more resources for the survivors.

A temporary loss for a long-term gain.

Some even believed—truly, fanatically—that they were saving these civilizations from themselves.

But Supergiant?

She did not care for Thanos' so-called balance.

In her mind—

Half was too little.

She preferred two-thirds, maybe even three-fourths.

Born with immense psionic abilities, she had spent her entire life reading thoughts, hearing the filth in people's minds.

"Too many people…"

"Too many ugly, selfish thoughts…"

"All of them deserve to be erased."

But even as she silently judged the Blue Spirit people, her mind was elsewhere.

Watching.

Waiting.

For she knew—

Something far more terrifying than Thanos' decree was coming.

The atmosphere grew heavier.

The air turned static.

And then—

The Arrival of a God

The sky ripped open.

From the abyss of space, a colossal celestial throne—a construct of unfathomable divine craftsmanship—descended.

The Throne.

Its massive silhouette cast an unholy shadow over the battlefield.

The Blue Spirit people—already kneeling in despair—lifted their heads.

A moment of stunned silence.

Then—

A crescendo of roaring cheers erupted.

"A miracle!"

"The Divine Throne has come!"

"We are saved!"

Some were so overwhelmed with devotion that they fainted on the spot.

A small boy, his voice filled with innocent awe, tugged at his trembling sister's sleeve.

"Sister… is that… our god?"

Tears streamed down her wide-eyed face.

"Yes. That is God—the Supreme God. He has come to save us."

She clutched her brother tightly, whispering with unwavering conviction.

"We are blessed. We must honor Him."

"One day, we shall journey to the Heavenly Palace and serve in His name!"

Years of unshakable faith—now met with divine intervention—had ignited a fire within them.

The strength of their belief surged, sending waves of power into the cosmos.

Ragna 's Singular Focus

But Ragna —

He paid them no mind.

"A mere planet's worth of faith?"

"Insignificant."

His presence here was not for them.

Nor was it for the ceremonial praise that now flooded the air.

He had come for one reason only.

Thanos.

And before he reached the Mad Titan—

His first obstacle stood waiting.

From the battlefield, Supergiant slowly exhaled, her eyes locking onto the unfathomable entity that had just appeared.

For the first time in a long, long while—

The mind-controlling telepath, the manipulator of countless lives, felt something foreign.

Something unsettling.

Her muscles tensed.

Her senses sharpened.

For she knew—

Terror had arrived.

This was only the beginning.
