So, it ends here. Finally, we've reached the inevitable—Obadiah Stane in his Iron Monger suit.

Tonight, I'll be the one to send you off.

The silver-haired girl stepped forward, smiling.

"Good evening, Mr. Stane. How's the Iron Monger working for you?"

Her silver-white hair fluttered in the night wind, sparkling with embers, accentuating her figure and making her look mesmerizing.

When Obadiah Stane saw the unharmed Kagura Hitomi suddenly appear before him, he shivered, a cold chill running down his spine.

"Kagura Hitomi, how are you still alive? No... you've come at the perfect time!"

Obadiah's tone shifted. "Come help me fix the suit, some of the weapon systems aren't working. Tony Stark is stronger than we expected, we need to rethink our plans!"

The girl chuckled, covering her mouth.

"Oh, I let that slip. Why am I still alive, you ask?"

She tilted her head slightly, her golden eyes coldly locking onto him.

"Do you know why Mr. Stark is much stronger than you, Mr. Stane?"

"Why?"

"Because the Mark III Iron Man suit is also something I helped develop."

Kagura Hitomi smirked.

"Since I was involved in both the development of your suit and Stark's, guess who decided which one was stronger?"

"You... betrayed me!"

Obadiah finally understood.

"Damn it! Why couldn't those thugs finish you off! You...!"

"Oh, sorry."

Kagura Hitomi bowed slightly. "I don't consider it betrayal, Mr. Stane."

She countered, "From the beginning, I've never been 'loyal' to you, so how could this be betrayal?"

"As for those thugs who didn't even have guns..."

She paused.

"Unfortunately, they were no match for me. They never had the ability to make me 'disappear,' you know?"

"Kagura Hitomi!" Obadiah roared.

"Tony Stark's path is wrong! You should follow me! I'm the right one!"

"Who's right, who's wrong—don't you get it?"

Kagura Hitomi's eyes darkened. "And by the way, Mr. Stark is my family!"

"What nonsense is this about family! I'm your boss!" Obadiah shouted.

"You should listen to me. You're an employee of Stark Industries, and I represent Stark Industries!"

"Enough, dream on."

Kagura Hitomi showed no interest in Obadiah's ramblings.

"By the way, you asked me what's in this package earlier, right?"

The girl took off the package she'd been carrying. "It's a little secret of mine."

"Since you're interested, I'll show you."

She unwrapped the cloth, revealing a black scabbard. Pulling the silver blade from it, she smiled.

"I designed this myself. It's beautiful, don't you think?"

Kagura Hitomi swung the blade, making a sharp slicing sound. "Choosing the right materials for it took a lot of effort."

"So, although I could have used any number of methods to destroy you, including overloading your Iron Monger suit..."

She smiled brightly. "Well, I think I'll go with this instead."

"A sword? Hmph!"

Obadiah sneered, adjusting his Iron Monger suit to stand tall.

"With that thing, do you really think you can hurt me?"

"I don't know how you survived the thugs' attacks, but since they couldn't finish you off, I'll do it myself!"

"Wow, didn't expect you to be so cold-hearted, Mr. Stane."

Kagura Hitomi scoffed. "I always thought, even though your ideas were wrong, you still had some dignity."

"Could I have been wrong about you?"

The girl leaned forward slightly, laughing softly. "Turns out, you're just a ruthless person, inside and out."

"Still talking tough even when your death is imminent!"

Obadiah ignored Kagura's provocation and kept moving forward.

"Stop."

The girl's voice was soft but commanding.

Suddenly, Obadiah's suit froze in place, immobile.

"What's going on? System failure? What is this?!"

"This is the highest level of control, Mr. Stane."

Kagura Hitomi raised the sword in her hands, gripping it tightly with both hands, her legs slightly apart, her posture lowering slightly.

"I didn't plan to kill you, but you showed me an unreasonable intent to kill."

Subtle energy ripples began to spread from Kagura Hitomi.

[Target Locked, Offensive Active Skill Confirmed]

[Core Energy Distribution Complete]

"And me, I just happen to be a very capricious child."

[Directed High-Energy Electromagnetic Pulse Charge: Charging]

Core energy flowed from the girl's chest into the blade, causing it to glow with a faint blue light.

Slowly, Kagura Hitomi raised the blade above her head, crackling arcs of electricity lighting up.

"So, even though I'd love to say something like 'I won't kill you,' I'm afraid I'm not that merciful."

[Directed High-Energy Electromagnetic Pulse Charge: Fully Charged]

"Besides, you're not the kind of person standing against me just to survive, are you?"

The silver strands of her hair brushed her face, adding a touch of sorrow to her words.

"Mr. Stane, I feel nothing about killing, and I certainly don't say foolish things like 'let you live' to my enemies, because once the fight starts, everyone is guilty."

[Directed High-Energy Electromagnetic Pulse Charge: Activated]

"I'm not kind enough to spare someone who wants me dead."

[Zzzt—!]

A brilliant blue light flashed.

The high-energy electromagnetic pulse, crackling with arcs, struck Obadiah directly.

[Boom!]

The heat from the pulse was enough to melt everything it touched in an instant, and the raging electromagnetic flow whipped up a storm, tearing everything in its path to shreds.

After a long while, the energy shockwave from the pulse finally died down.

The Iron Monger burned brightly, split in two, reduced to a heap of charred scrap metal.

"Vaporized by an electromagnetic pulse capable of melting tungsten alloy and carbon steel. It should have been painless. Consider this my final mercy."

Kagura Hitomi sheathed her sword with a flourish.

"Goodnight, Mr. Stane."

The world fell silent.

Only the wind remained, and Natasha Romanoff stood in stunned silence, her mouth agape.

Meanwhile, Nick Fury, who was "watching the live feed," stared blankly at his computer screen as it flickered into static. "Oh! What the hell!"
