The sky was still raining, and Arthur was clapping his hands with a sense of unique pleasure under the rain.
The Eye of Horus was quietly in operation, observing Thor's situation…
Since Odin had once intimidated him with sheer force, Arthur had noticed that his manipulation of colorless energy had become increasingly proficient.
Not only could he project it outward to create something like an umbrella to keep himself from getting drenched, but he could also use it to intimidate people… like that sudden "Moon-Fang Heaven Piercer (Getsuga Tenshō)."
Of course, these were just Arthur's own experiments. The so-called "Moon-Fang Heaven Piercer (Getsuga Tenshō)" had no real harm and was merely a bit of a bluff.
However, the application of The Eye of Horus had reached further limits. At a distance of about five hundred meters from Thor, using The Eye of Horus was effortless.
With nearly four hundred colorless small crystals, it was worth capturing for a while.
But the significant haul from the green items reminded Arthur of the weapons he had retrieved from Yondu's warehouse.
At the time, he prioritized Disassembling purple items. The guns tagged as "green" were only collected without being Disassembled.
Later, when the purple items were not yet Disassembled and the Disassembler had upgraded, these green items hadn't had their turn… Arthur thought he might as well Disassemble these items when he had the chance.
During his time back on Earth, it seemed unlikely that there would be much more to gain.
Purple items would probably need to be searched for in space.
He had left too quickly before, without much preparation.
But after finishing up the unfinished tasks on Earth, he could plan another trip to space.
Perhaps he could indulge in some smashing and grabbing…
"Hopefully, Odin will let me use their Bifrost then."
Arthur mused, having heard that this device could send someone to any corner of the universe— whether it was true or just hype remained to be seen.
As he was thinking about this, a new figure appeared in The Eye of Horus.
Standing before Thor was a young man in a suit and scarf, who had suddenly materialized with no warning.
"Loki…"
Arthur's clapping slowed down as he considered the situation.
After observing for a while, Arthur saw that Loki was only talking and not taking any action, which relieved him.
These two brothers had a tumultuous relationship, from Thor's first film to Avengers: Infinity War, full of complex emotions.
Honestly, Arthur wasn't too worried about Loki killing Thor right now. It didn't fit Loki's character…
And deep down, Arthur always felt that Loki had never truly intended to kill Thor… perhaps that was true love!
After a moment of mental commentary, the brothers finished their conversation.
Thor was tearful, looking very sad.
Arthur used The Eye of Horus to locate Loki, finding him attempting to lift Mjolnir.
However, like Arthur, Loki found Mjolnir unmoving.
"Tsk, tsk…"
Arthur shook his head and looked up to see a young man in a suit standing in front of him: "A marvelous gaze, an interesting spell I've never seen before. What is this?"
After a brief pause, Arthur asked, "Is this… your real self, or a clone?"
"What does it matter?" Loki maintained a smile: "I mean you no harm."
"Then tell me, if I were to attack you now, would you be able to retaliate?"
"Mortal… do not press your luck!" Loki's expression darkened.
Arthur grinned: "It seems you can't resist!"
Loki took a deep breath and looked at Arthur calmly: "I know why you are here. You and my father… had a pact!"
Arthur had already drawn a pistol, but after thinking it over, he decided the noise would be too loud and switched to the two-handed sword.
Loki's eyelids twitched as he frowned and said, "I believe we could also make a pact— a pact that would grant you even more."
Arthur looked up at Loki and said with a smile, "That's tempting. So, you have three seconds to speak."
"You!"
"One second!" Arthur held up a finger.
"All you need to do is let my brother, stay on Earth forever…"
Arthur clicked his finger again: "Two seconds…"
"The Divine Weapons from the Asgardian vault, you can choose five!"
Before Loki could finish, Arthur suddenly lunged forward, swinging his large sword with a gust of wind, heading straight for Loki.
"You dare!!!!" Loki roared in anger!
Thunder seemed to rumble overhead, and a heavy pressure descended instantly!
However, as the sword's edge passed, everything was split in two, including Loki's form… but the next moment, Arthur suddenly felt a void in his hand. The once-hard, cold sword hilt had turned greasy and slippery. He looked over in shock to find that the two-handed sword had transformed into a viper, hissing and trying to bite his hand!
In his moment of surprise, Arthur focused his mind, and the colorless energy flowed, causing the snake to turn back into the two-handed sword!
"Interesting!"
Arthur looked up sharply and saw Loki, who had just been split in two, standing there again: "What kind of magic is this?"
"Why don't we exchange? You tell me yours, and I'll tell you mine!"
"My mother told me not to trust strangers…"
As the words fell, Arthur's form vanished from the spot, and Loki's figure also disappeared!
Loki was equally elusive…
After three Blinks in quick succession, Arthur sighed and reappeared: "Isn't this just like a broken lightbulb? Is it even interesting?"
"It seems not…"
Loki spoke, suddenly looking up at Arthur with a cunning expression!
In the next second, a mysterious force tried to invade his body. Arthur's expression changed, and with a sweep of his colorless energy, the force was instantly dispelled. He stared at Loki in confusion.
Loki was equally baffled: "What did you do?"
"…I should be asking that question!"
Arthur let out a sigh, and with a thought, The Eye of Horus appeared above him, monitoring in a full 360-degree view!
Loki pondered for a moment, then suddenly looked up at Arthur's head and said with a wry smile: "This is unfair."
"Unfair, you say? You're a god… and I'm a human!" Arthur shrugged and said, "So, this is fair."
"Well, it seems our agreement cannot be fulfilled."
Loki sighed and said: "It's a pity. I hope that when we meet next time, you will make the right choice."
With that, his figure completely vanished.
