It was night.

A light drizzle blurred the city, draping it in a veil of rain.

Standing in Times Square, Bruce Banner wiped the rain from his face. His eyes were cold, but if one looked closely, they could see a faint green glow flickering in their depths.

He stood there eerily still, like a statue, silently waiting in the rain.

Several hours earlier, he had received a phone call.

The caller was Samuel Sterns.

Sterns had informed Bruce that Abomination would be waiting for him in Times Square that very night. If he didn't show up, Abomination would cause a scene right there.

Whether it was due to personal reasons or simply the need to stop Abomination, Bruce had no choice—he had to come.

Passersby glanced curiously at Bruce standing motionless in the rain, but no one approached him.

Bruce wiped his face again and began wandering aimlessly down the street.

Meanwhile...

Gwen was pulling Thor by the hand as they jogged through the rain.

It had been sunny when they left the house, but after spending some time walking around, it had started to rain.

Still, despite the rain, the streets remained crowded.

"There, over there!"

Gwen pointed toward a nearby shop and pulled Thor along with her.

Taking shelter at the storefront, Gwen brushed her soaked hair aside, revealing her forehead.

She tilted her head and glanced at Thor, whose wet clothes now clung to his body, revealing his noticeably rounder figure. With a soft sigh, she remarked:

"Thor, you're getting chubbier."

"Chubby? Am I?"

Thor looked down at himself, then at the slight bulge of his belly, and instinctively sucked in a breath.

No abs—just a rounded belly.

Just last week, he could still see the faint outline of his abs if he inhaled like that...

Thor looked a little embarrassed and gave his stomach a light smack.

Gwen shook her head and said, "You're hopeless."

Thor straightened his expression. "I've gained more than just fat."

"Right, right, you've gained a whole lot of fat. Keep going like this and you'll turn into that uncle over there."

She pointed at a middle-aged man jogging by with a prominent belly.

Thor glanced over and responded firmly, "Impossible! Just give me one week—I'll be back in shape!"

"Heh..." Gwen let out a mocking laugh. "There's this chubby guy in our class who said the exact same thing. One week later, he was even fatter."

Thor shivered slightly. Suddenly, he said, "I think it's raining harder now."

Gwen looked up—he was right.

"If I'd known, I wouldn't have come out to see the show," she muttered, a bitter look on her face.

It was Sunday. Earlier that afternoon, her Aunt Raven had visited her house and handed her two tickets for The Lion King, suggesting she go to the theater for a performance.

Since Clark had gone to a neighboring city for an interview, she had no choice but to drag Thor along.

They had spent the afternoon wandering around, then watched the show in the evening. By the time it ended, it was already late—and raining.

"I wonder where Dad and Aunt Raven are right now... What are they doing?"

Gwen muttered quietly, then sniffed the air. Her eyes lit up. "Something smells good!"

Thor: "Where?"

The two of them looked around and quickly spotted a snack shop just across the street.

"Perfect timing—I'm starving," Gwen said, licking her lips. She tugged at Thor's hand and added, "Let's grab something to eat."

Thor held her back, looking at the increasingly heavy rain. He gently patted Gwen on the head and said, "You wait here. I'll go get it."

Gwen nodded. Watching Thor dash off, she leaned against the wall and waited quietly.

"Huh?"

Just then, she noticed a shadowy figure leaping from the top of one building to another across the street.

Rubbing her eyes in confusion, Gwen looked again—but saw nothing.

"Did I imagine that?"

She whispered to herself, then glanced back at Thor's fading silhouette. Her stomach growled.

It smelled so good...

Boom!

A yellow-green figure hurtled down like a cannonball, landing on the rooftop with two cracked footprints. After taking two steps forward, he forcefully pushed off with his legs and leapt onto the rooftop of the building across the street.

"Ah!"

He roared, a fierce cry filled with exhilaration.

That overwhelming surge of power was utterly intoxicating.

But where was Hulk?

He stood on the rooftop, looking down below.

"Ha! Found you!"

Suddenly, Abomination shouted loudly, his cruel gaze piercing the rain like twin blades, locking onto Bruce walking in the downpour.

At the same moment, Bruce seemed to sense it and looked up.

Their eyes met in midair.

Abomination grinned widely, while Bruce felt his heart explode in an instant. A surge of uncontrollable emerald light burst from his eyes and spread through his entire body.

The moment he saw Abomination, his rage and murderous intent shattered all emotional limits.

And then, Hulk emerged!

His skin turned green as his body grew taller. Massive, explosive muscles rippled across him, tearing through his shirt. Even his once-loose pants looked on the verge of giving way.

On the street below, people walking back and forth froze in shock.

What was that?

A monster?

"Hulk!"

With a roar, Hulk looked up at Abomination, bending his legs sharply.

That roar snapped the stunned onlookers out of their daze; they screamed and scattered running for safety.

Boom!

Cracks spread across the ground beneath Hulk's feet. When the surface shattered into two shallow pits, Hulk launched himself upward like a cannonball, flying toward Abomination on the rooftop.

"Roar!"

Abomination roared excitedly, leaping to meet Hulk.

Crash! Boom!

Lightning streaked across the sky as thunder rumbled. The fists of the two giants collided midair.

Boom!

Amidst the thunderous noise, a powerful shockwave burst from the impact, sweeping wildly in all directions, scattering the dense curtain of rain.

Time seemed to freeze for a moment. The snarling Abomination and the furious Hulk stared each other down, eyes blazing with identical murderous intent.

The next second, as Abomination's fist thundered toward Hulk, Hulk met it head-on without hesitation.

Another fierce clash. Hulk hung briefly in midair before gravity pulled him down.

Abomination laughed wildly, chasing Hulk in midair and landing a punch on him.

Whoosh!

Hulk was blasted backward, crashing down with a sharp howl.

Boom!

The ground shook violently as a massive crater formed where Hulk landed.

"Die, Hulk!"

With a fierce roar, Abomination bent his elbow, aiming the sharp spike on it at Hulk, and charged forward.

Boom!

The earth trembled again as the crater beneath them suddenly widened.
