"Damn it, this guy's abilities are disgusting."
Hank Pym cursed under his breath, shrinking smaller and smaller to avoid the increasingly fierce punches and kicks from Black Emperor.
At that moment, a series of playing cards, glowing with energy, rained down on Black Emperor.
However, instead of knocking him back as they should have, the cards stuck to Black Emperor like limp sheets of paper, slowly drifting to the ground.
After absorbing the kinetic energy from the cards, Black Emperor let out a satisfied sigh and provocatively addressed Remy LeBeau, "Is that all you've got?"
As he spoke, he used the energy he absorbed to enhance his own body and charged straight toward Remy LeBeau.
Remy LeBeau grimaced, but his eyes glowed with a seductive red light. He leaped backward, revealing Logan behind him.
A flash of cold light appeared as the Adamantium claws, accompanied by Logan's furious roar, swiped toward Black Emperor's body.
Black Emperor's eyes narrowed. He dodged the attack from Logan's claws, clenched his fists, and fully activated his powers.
Sebastian Shaw's ability is energy absorption, which allows him to either enhance his own body or attack using the energy he's absorbed—like a masochist, the more he is hit, the stronger he gets.
Several years ago, he had to make physical contact to absorb energy, needing to be hit to grow stronger. But now, he could absorb the surrounding kinetic energy into his body, storing it without needing to be hit, and use it to fight.
Having dodged Logan's attack, he absorbed the surrounding kinetic energy while retreating. As Logan lunged at him, Black Emperor pushed his hands forward, unleashing a shockwave of energy that blasted Logan away.
"Boom!"
Logan flew through the air like a bowling ball, crashing violently into the wall, tumbling and rolling along the ground.
Black Emperor sneered, then stomped the ground, launching himself toward Logan with blinding speed, his hands glowing with dangerous light.
Remy LeBeau pressed his hands to the ground, crimson energy spreading from his palms and weaving across the floor, eventually appearing beneath Black Emperor's feet.
Black Emperor paused, then stomped his left foot down, instantly absorbing the crimson energy into his body.
"I..." Remy LeBeau's face twisted in frustration.
His abilities were nullified when facing Black Emperor. In fact, his powers seemed to perfectly complement Black Emperor's, almost as though he were Black Emperor's "man" behind the scenes.
Logan regained his senses and, rolling and scrambling away, narrowly dodged Black Emperor's punch.
"Boom!"
A loud explosion rocked the room as a large hole was blown through the wall, cracks spiderwebbing across the surface as the entire wall collapsed.
Logan grimaced, his voice echoing, "Hurry, shrink him down!"
Hank Pym replied helplessly, "Shrinking him will only make him harder to deal with."
When reduced in size, Black Emperor's strength and abilities wouldn't diminish, which was a terrifying prospect to imagine.
Black Emperor taunted the trio, "What's the matter? Can't even hit harder than a woman's fist? Didn't get your mama's milk this morning?"
Logan's eye twitched. He charged directly at Black Emperor, shouting, "You piece of shit!"
But in the next second...
"Bang!"
A shockwave burst from Black Emperor's hand.
Logan cursed as he was sent flying backward at an even faster speed.
Remy LeBeau sighed, drawing a retractable metal rod from his waist. He pulled on it, extending it to full length, and began to twirl it lightly in his hands as he charged toward Black Emperor.
At the same time, Hank Pym shrank his size, aiming for Black Emperor's eyes, while Logan, seemingly unaffected, cursed under his breath and charged forward once more.
As the three struggled against Black Emperor, Mike, who had dealt with Rocket, was slowly descending from the sky.
He glanced down, observing the chaotic battle below, his brow raised in mild interest.
His fiery gaze swept across the battlefield. After blasting a Hellfire mutant into the air, the mutant, clutching his chest, got up as if nothing had happened.
It wasn't that the mutant was too strong; it was that Scott had deliberately held back.
Faced with former Hellfire members, Scott could never bring himself to strike with full force.
But while Scott held back, the Hellfire members certainly showed him no mercy.
With hair whipping like a snake, crackling electricity, and explosive bubbles flying toward him...
Scott retreated, adjusting his glasses and unleashing a red laser beam.
"Boom!"
A loud explosion rang out, and Scott was sent flying, looking disheveled.
Seeing this, Mike let out a sigh.
He pulled out several cards, preparing to intervene, when his expression suddenly shifted.
A whirlwind raced toward him at incredible speed, threatening to suck him in.
Mike quickly dodged, vanishing in midair and landing on the ground. He looked up at the man, hair flying wildly, with his arms wrapped in chaotic gusts of wind.
It was Torrent.
"Was that you?" Torrent glared at Mike, the swirling winds in his hands forming into a hurricane shape.
"What did you say?" Mike replied in surprise, tapping his forehead, then giving a mocking smile. "You mean Rocket?"
"Die!"
Torrent roared, hurling the swirling wind in his hands toward Mike. The wind whipped everything around it into the air, and in the blink of an eye, Torrent was in front of Mike.
But faster than the wind was Mike's teleportation.
He disappeared in a flash, evading the storm, and reappeared beside Torrent. In an instant, a fireball materialized, hurtling toward Torrent, while a dazzling flash of light sped toward his head, attempting to stun him.
"Whoosh!"
The violent wind exploded outward like a solid force, blowing everything around him away. Torrent spun rapidly to shield himself.
The hurricane rapidly formed, pulling Mike into its whirlwind. In the blink of an eye, the storm shot up into the sky, tearing everything around it apart and drawing everything into its grasp.
Steel, the ground, and the people nearby.
Everything was caught in the terrifying storm, spinning helplessly in the wind, rising higher and higher.
Including... Mike!
Mike watched as Torrent, now lost within the storm, disappeared from sight. For some reason, his mind conjured an image of a washing machine.
Whoosh, whoosh!
Objects caught in the hurricane spun toward Mike like deadly projectiles.
Mike used his shield to protect himself, preventing the debris from striking him. Then, he teleported outside the storm's reach.
Shaking his dizzy head, he looked back at the ever-strengthening hurricane, still spinning and growing stronger.
The storm now resembled a ferocious beast, violently devouring everything around it. People screamed in terror, desperately clutching nearby objects, their bodies swaying like fragile grass, ready to be swept away by the storm at any moment.
"Doesn't this bastard get dizzy?" Mike muttered, then conjured two cards in his hand.
A Psychic Scan and a Zangetsu Gun.
Avoiding the debris flying around him, Mike used the Psychic Scan to locate Torrent's position, then materialized the Zangetsu Gun. As the hurricane moved toward him again, Mike recited the incantation.
"Kill him, God Gun!"
His whispered words scattered in the wind, but in the blink of an eye, a slender blade shot through the storm, piercing directly through Torrent's heart.
The swirling hurricane eerily came to a halt.
In the next moment, the wind lost its power, no longer spinning, and became a violent gust, sending debris crashing to the ground like a chaotic "rain."
