Marvel: I am Jean's Apprentice.

Chapter 17: (Never trust the enemy.)

Chapter seventeen:

Time passed slowly as Ultron settled Pietro and I into a room. I was going to try to talk him out of all this but I couldn't. I felt like hundreds of eyes were on me. I looked around the room but I didn't see any cameras or anything. As I laid down I let some powers out to sense around the room and my instincts was right. Their was at least one, possibly three camera's. Ultron doesn't trust us, not like I blame him.

Life was boring while I was stuck here. I listened to their scheming and planning. Things seemed to be similar to the movie. Ultron still wants a strong body of vibranium. I mean it is a smart idea, I have to give him that but I can't let him succeed. It would ruin our chances of beating him later but I can't let him know that. I can't let him know I'm not on his side. Not yet at least.

I decided to walk out of the castle for a while. Being in there and constantly being watched made me nervous. I never knew how much time those movies cut out. They made everything seem instant when they obviously wasn't. I sat down on the grass and laid down to look up at the sky. It was beautiful seeing the shapes in the clouds.

I then heard footsteps coming and let red chaos magic reach out.

"Travis what are you doing?" Said Pietro.

"I'm relaxing, I feel stressed in that building." I replied before I closed my eyes.

I then heard him sigh and then I felt him sit down next to me. "Why do you feel stressed?" Said Pietro.

I slowly opened my eyes before looking at him.

"Well most of the plan is just me and I just don't feel comfortable with my abilities yet." I replied and made him feel kinda bad.

Pietro then began to rub my shoulders comfortably. "Well that's ok, even if you fail at least you try and you don't have to psychically hurt them." Said Pietro.

I just gave him a small smile and nodded. I already know I'm going to do it. Probably.

"Something feels wrong here." I replied and he just gave me a confused look.

"What do you mean?" Said Pietro.

"Something with Ultron just feels wrong, like he is lying to us or something." I replied.

Pietro then looked at me concerned. "This is exactly what I want." I said happily.

"In what way?" Replied Pietro.

"I don't think he wants to help humankind, I think he wants to destroy it." I said.

"You think so?" Replied Pietro and I just nodded at him.

"Ok, then we can't let him get more powerful. We just use him to destroy Tony Stark and then we help the Avengers destroy him." Said Pietro and I just nodded at him.

"I won't actually kill Stark and at least Ultron doesn't know that we don't trust him." Replied Pietro.

"Thank you." I said.

"Why?" Replied Pietro.

"For trusting me." I said before smiling.

Pietro then hugged me. "Always Travis." Replied Pietro.

We stayed like that for a while as I confessed my fear of being watched in the building and we agreed not to say anything inside. Finally it got dark and we headed back inside, mostly on the same page.
