Marvel: I am Jean's Apprentice.

Chapter eighty:

"Jean get up we're going to see Nate today." I said waking her up.

"You realize you've just woken your fiance who only got two hours of sleep because of you." Replied Jean Grey.

"It's fine babe I don't have to do any of that again and you can get all the sleep you want." I said.

"Now I never said that I didn't enjoy it. I just want more sleep." Replied Jean Grey before she put the covers over her head.

"I've run a bubble bath for you. And I'll tell you what if you get up now we can do that thing at some point you've been wanting to try but have been to nervous to ask me." I said.

"Really?" Replied Jean Grey.

I just nodded my head at her. Jean Grey then kissed me gently on the lips before going to take a shower.

"Are you joining me or what?" Said Jean Grey.

"Actually I promised Laura I'd make breakfast for her but I do want to leave you alone with your special thoughts." I replied.

I then got ready and headed down to the kitchen to make breakfast for Laura, Jean Grey and the boys. Ororo Munroe was already there.

"Morning." Said Ororo Munroe.

"Morning Storm. How are you feeling today?" I replied.

"I think it might be weird for a bit because you know last time we were there but it'll be fine in the end. I mean we've been happy now and not hurting anyone so I guess things worked out how they were supposed to." Said Ororo Munroe.

"Yeah I guess they did. Have you planned Jean's bachelorette party yet?" I replied.

"Yep it's in two weeks it's going to be like a bar crawl. I think she'll like it. When is Jean picking up your wedding ring?" Said Ororo Munroe.

"Next week after she goes wedding dress shopping. You're still going with her right?" I replied.

"Of course I wouldn't miss it." Said Ororo Munroe.

Laura then walked in. "Do you know how nice it is to sleep in a bed and not have to worry about getting up early cause your kids are arguing?" She replied.

Ororo Munroe and I laughed as I made her breakfast.

"For my favorite mom." I said.

"You know if you and Jean don't work out you know where I am." Replied Laura.

"Back off Laura. He's mine." Said Jean Grey as she wrapped her arms around my waist.

"Yes I am." I replied before kissing her gently on the lips.

"It's not even 9am and already with the kissing." Said Billy Maximoff as he walked into the room.

"Someone's grumpy this morning. Travis go cheer up your son." Replied Jean Grey.

"I think I'll pass." I said before hugging my twin sons.

"Can we sort this out on the jet I really need to get home to the kids?" Replied Laura.

The whole ride there was full of Tommy and Billy arguing.

"Okay can you two please stop fighting now?" Said Jean Grey.

"Sorry." Replied Tommy and Billy Maximoff.

"I like it when you're angry." I said before kissing Jean Grey gently on the lips.

We then landed and Nate immediately ran towards the jet. He tackled his mom before giving me one.

"Come on Nate give Jean a hug before she starts crying." I replied.

"Do you want me to play baseball with you Nate?" Said Jean Grey.

"Yes please." Replied Nate.

I kept Ororo Munroe on the jet. As Jean Grey and Laura went inside.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to drag you into it. It's just you have the perfect relationship and you treat Jean so well. Is it so bad to want that?" Said Ororo Munroe.

"No it's not but it's also not fair to T'challa. He can't read what you want. This is his first relationship so he's learning just give him some time. Pietro still makes you happy doesn't he?" I replied.

"Yeah he does. And thank you for being such a good friend Travis." Said Ororo Munroe before she hugged me tightly.

"Your welcome. Now come play baseball with us Storm." I replied.

We then talked for a while before lunch, then after lunch Tommy, Billy, and Nate started to play baseball with each other. Ororo Munroe and Pietro seemed okay now. Which was good because I don't want any drama at my wedding.

The jet ride home was a lot calmer than on the way there. And when we got to HQ Ororo Munroe was smiling.

"It's nice to see you smile." I said.

"Thank you for your help." Said Ororo Munroe.

Jean Grey then took my hand before we went back to our room.

"Are you okay Jean?" I replied.

"Yeah I was just thinking about the vows. Do you want to say your own or just stick with the ones they have?" Said Jean Grey.

"Whichever you're comfortable with babe. I don't want to add any pressure on you. What do you want to do?" I replied.

"I think I want us to come up with our own." Said Jean Grey.

"I don't know how much you love me Jean. You know that right?" I replied.

"You deserve to hear it more though. I love you Travis Maximoff more than I will ever be able to explain. You mean everything to me, absolutely everything." Said Jean Grey.

"Jean look at me. I know how much you love me with every look, every touch, every kiss and the way you make me feel at home. For me actions speaks louder than words. I love you so much Jean. And I can't wait to be your wife." I replied before kissing her gently on the lips.

Jean Grey then started to cuddle into me like her life depended on it. I then stroked her red ponytail and kissed her gently on the lips. Making sure Jean Grey felt safe and loved.
