Chapter ninety three:

"Dad wake up it's your birthday." Said Rachel before jumping on the bed.

"If it's my birthday why are you so excited?" I replied.

"Because we want you to open your present we got you. You're really going to like it." Said Hope.

"Okay I'll be down in a minute. Go and get your brothers up." I replied.

Rachel and Hope then ran down the hallway.

"The boys are going to kill them." Said Jean Grey.

"That's what they get for waking me up." I replied.

"Happy birthday Travis." Said Jean Grey before she kissed me gently on the lips.

"Thank you Jean." I replied.

Jean Grey then smiled at me. "Well I need to get up before the girls kill me but maybe later you can show me how much you love me." I said.

Jean Grey and I then walked down the stairs.

"Happy birthday dad." Replied Billy Maximoff before hugging me.

"Thank you. Why is your hair all wet?" I said.

"Rachel poured water on me." Replied Billy Maximoff.

"Rachel I told you to wake them up not give Billy hypothermia." I said.

"Sorry dad. She wouldn't get up so I thought that would make him." Replied Hope.

"Right why don't we open presents?" Said Jean Grey.

Tommy was so excited for me to open my presents he practically opened it for me. I opened it seeing the basketball jersey and hugged Tommy.

"Thank you Tommy." I replied before hugging him.

"Now we have matching outfits mom." Said Tommy.

"Yeah we do. Should we wear them today?" I replied.

"Yes please." Said Tommy.

Jean Grey and I were really good parents and the kids adored us.

Billy Maximoff then got up and handed me his present. When I opened it I started to cry a little bit.

Billy Maximoff was a really talented artist and there's the photograph of the beach where we had our wedding that I loved and he had painted it beautifully.

"This is beautiful Billy. Thank you so much." I said.

"Alright my turn. Some of it you will get later on." Replied Jean Grey.

The first was a heart shaped necklace that Jean Grey got me.

"Babe this is stunning. Thank you." I said before kissing her gently on the lips.

I then opened the rest of the gifts and one was too a football game for the 6 of us. Then a dress I liked but would never buy it.

"I've been well and truly spoiled. Thank you. Now we better get ready before Carol and Ororo gets here." I replied.

We then went upstairs to get ready and I kissed Jean Grey gently on the lips.

"I'm the luckiest man alive." I said.

"Are you joining me in the shower?" Replied Jean Grey.

"Jean that's a stupid question the answer is always yes." I said.

Jean Grey then locked the door before she kissed me long and passionately on the lips and I ran my hands through her red ponytail.

Once we are dressed our friends and family start to arrive. Carol Danvers was the first as she was always meticulous when it came to time keeping.

"I swear you get more beautiful every single time I see you." I replied while complementing Carol Danvers.

"I don't blame him Carol when you look like that." Said Jean Grey.

"Happy birthday Travis." Replied Carol Danvers before she hugged me.

"Thank you. Can I open it?" I said.

"Yes but you have to wait until later to open the others." Replied Jean Grey.

"I love you Jean." I said before kissing her gently on the lips.

"It's like being married to a 18 year old." Replied Jean Grey.

I then opened it and it was a beautiful painting family tree with our friends and family.

"Thank you so much Carol." I said.

"I'm just glad that you like it." Replied Carol Danvers.

"I know just where to hang it too." I said before using my red chaos magic to hang it above the maintenance.

Pietro then started on the BBQ as the rest of the Avengers started to arrive. Seeing Pietro all grown up was heartbreaking because our parents never got to see it happen.

The day was full of laughter and smiling which is all I wanted. I had a really good time because I had a goofy grin on my face that made Jean fall in love with me all those years ago. Sometimes she catches herself watching me and she thinks how lucky she is to have me who gave her hope when she didn't have any, who gave Jean Grey a family she didn't think she could have and who loves her more than she thought anyone ever could.

"What are you thinking about babe?" I said before kissing her gently on the lips.

"How lucky I am to be loved by you." Replied Jean Grey.

"No Jean I'm the lucky one. This right here is all because of you. You gave me a home and hope and safety and love and anything I could've wished for. You're my savior Jean and the love of my life. You're an amazing mother to our children and the best wife I could have hoped for. You're everything to me Jean." I said.

"You always know the right thing to say Travis." Replied Jean Grey.

"It's easy when I'm saying to the woman that I love." I said before kissing her long and passionately on the lips.

"I love you Travis." Replied Jean Grey.

"I love you too Jean." I said.

We then headed upstairs after a long day and Jean Grey went into the bathroom to get ready for my surprise.

When she walked out in her red and black lingerie my jaw dropped. Jean Grey then walked over to the bed before using her finger to shut my mouth.
