Chapter 11: Chapter 11 : Shadow Corps

---

At the moment, the living room was bathed in the soft, infinite glow of starlight.

The endless sea of stars stretched above like a celestial ocean, exuding immense, untapped power.

Tiny bright stars shimmered, creating an almost surreal atmosphere.

"Phew…"

Finn stood amidst the strange light, his expression calm but focused.

This wasn't the first time he used creation magic to surround himself with a starry atmosphere. It was a habit born from years of practice.

He slowly closed his eyes, letting his thoughts fade as he immersed himself in the ambient energy.

His breathing steadied, and the chaotic noise of the world outside vanished.

Fragments of information about the Shadow Corps from Jackie Chan Cartoon began to emerge in his mind.

He realized the previous life's media barely scratched the surface of their true capabilities.

Now, as the wielder of creation magic, Finn could redefine the Shadow Corps, shaping them entirely through his imagination.

Creation magic—unlike conventional spells—was tethered to the user's imagination and perseverance.

In a way, it bore a resemblance to the Green Lantern's ring, but it was far more powerful. With it, Finn could manipulate the very fabric of reality, twisting it to his will.

There were no limits to what he could create: magical elements, physical objects, abstract substances—everything was within his grasp.

*Tick. Tick.*

The clock on the wall echoed faintly as time passed. Above, the starry sea grew turbulent, responding to Finn's focused thoughts.

He frowned slightly. The Shadow Corps, while not particularly powerful compared to Marvel's cosmic entities, were still an intriguing concept.

They embodied shadows themselves, their strength lying in their adaptability and stealth.

Finally, after hours of intense focus, the starry ocean above churned violently, and a white orb of light emerged, drifting downward.

"It's done."

Finn reached out, catching the orb in his hand. As he grasped it, the starlit environment faded, and the living room reverted to its mundane state.

The words "Shadow Corps" glowed faintly within the ball of light in his palm. Finn smirked.

He knew that integrating this light would grant him full control over the corps.

The Shadow Corps were unique. Their soldiers could meld into shadows and move freely across any surface.

They existed wherever shadows could form. Divided into nine different battalions, each with distinct abilities and fighting styles, the Shadow Corps was a versatile force.

Yet, no matter their individuality, their loyalty to Finn, their summoner, was absolute.

"Let's test it out."

Finn whispered to himself as he absorbed the ball of light. A warm surge of energy coursed through his body, though it left no physical mark.

He closed his eyes and waved a hand, commanding his thoughts into action.

*Whoosh!*

Shadows around the room stirred. Slowly, humanoid figures emerged from the darkness, clad in sleek ninja attire. Their crimson eyes glowed faintly, exuding an aura of silent lethality.

Finn muttered, "The ninja unit... one of the nine Shadow Corps battalions."

The ninja group bowed in unison, their movements precise and respectful.

While their combat power was moderate compared to Marvel's greater threats, their ability to operate undetected made them invaluable.

Before Finn could summon other units, a loud knock echoed from the door.

*Knock, knock!*

"Agatha? What's she doing here?"

Finn's eyes narrowed slightly. Through the iron door, he could see an elderly woman standing outside. The unmistakable figure of Agatha Harkness.

"Finn! My faucet's broken—it won't work!"

Agatha's voice carried a note of urgency as she knocked again.

Finn opened the door, meeting her anxious gaze. "Aunt Agnes, isn't Josh here? He's usually good with repairs."

"He's not around," Agatha replied, feigning helplessness. "Can you check it out for me?"

Finn hesitated. As a senior magician, Agatha could easily solve such problems on her own.

Her request seemed suspicious. Still, as her landlord, he couldn't refuse without raising suspicions.

"Alright, no problem."

"You're such a good person, Finn," Agatha said, smiling warmly.

However, as she turned away, her eyes flashed with a dim, sinister light.

---

Finn followed Agatha to the kitchen of her suite on the floor below.

"It's blocked—nothing's coming out," Agatha explained, gesturing at the faucet.

"It's probably the valve," Finn muttered, opening his toolbox to retrieve a replacement.

As he worked, Agatha leaned against the counter. "You and Wanda seem pretty close."

Finn paused briefly. "Not really. We just met yesterday."

Agatha's lips curled into a sly smile. "Really?

You two seem to spend a lot of time together.

Wanda's not one for casual friendships."

Finn realized her true intent. Agatha wasn't here for a broken faucet.

She wanted to get closer to Wanda, likely to exploit her latent Chaos Magic.

"Actually, I'm just trying to be friendly," Finn replied, keeping his tone light while silently activating his *holographic eye*—a magical enhancement that allowed him to perceive threats in a 360-degree radius.

Through his enhanced vision, Finn saw Agatha's left hand glowing faintly with a black aura.

"Ordinary people could never comprehend what Wanda truly is," Agatha murmured, stepping closer.

Finn's pulse quickened, but he maintained his composure.

Agatha raised her hand, her black aura roaring like a spectral flame. "Finn, I need a small favor…"

Her intention was clear—she sought to control him using her dark magic.

But just as she prepared to strike, several shadowy figures burst from the room's corners and darted out through the window.

"What just happened?"

Agatha spun around, startled by the sudden commotion.

She rushed to the window but saw nothing. The shadows had vanished into thin air, leaving behind only the shattered glass.

"They're gone…"

Agatha frowned deeply. Those shadows weren't ordinary intruders. She suspected someone—or something—was interfering with her plans.

"Let's call the police," Finn suggested, his voice steady as he dismissed the remaining Shadow Corps members hidden in the corners.

Agatha nodded absentmindedly, her mind fixated on the shadows.

This incident wasn't over—someone was clearly targeting her, and she intended to find out who.

Finn watched her carefully. "Good thing the Shadow Corps were here. Otherwise, things could've gotten messy."

Though he wasn't afraid of Agatha, he didn't want his hidden powers exposed. For now, his secret was safe.

As Agatha gazed out the window, Finn smirked inwardly. His game had only just begun
