Chapter 101: CHAPTER 100: Decision

"Can I even call this powerful?"

Yuri's voice, laced with undisguised sarcasm, nearly made the surrounding adventurers faint with envy.

What did it mean to be powerful? That swordsmanship was like an unattainable dream to the swordsmen who had witnessed his fight. Many wouldn't dare imagine such skill in their entire lives. Even high-level adventurers, well-versed in swordplay, had never seen anything so terrifying.

"In terms of swordsmanship..." Riveria spoke, clearly surprised by Yuri's progress, stepping forward with a joyful expression.

"In terms of swordsmanship, he's probably the strongest in Orario..."

No one expected Ais to appear so suddenly. She not only blocked her foster mother Riveria's path but was also the first to approach the young swordsman.

The beautiful blonde girl was visibly emotional — a rare sight. She stepped forward and took Yuri's hand.

Ais Wallenstein, the Sword Princess, revered by many as a goddess, blinked her gentle, clear eyes. Then she rubbed Yuri's palm as if she were a small animal seeking affection.

"I've made progress... I want my reward," she said with a soft smile.

As always when she made progress, Yuri gently patted her head. Then he leaned down and whispered to her:

"As a reward for reaching Level 6... you can ask me for anything, Ais."

"Then... I want this..." she murmured, rising onto her toes.

Riveria, Lefiya, and the other adventurers gasped in shock as Ais boldly took the initiative to kiss Yuri. At first, it was just a gentle touch of lips... but then it turned into something warmer and more passionate.

The handsome young man and the enchanting girl, caught in that intimate moment, looked like the perfect protagonists of a fairy tale. The adventurers around them, many hungry for excitement and drama, cheered as if witnessing a rare spectacle.

As privileged spectators, they knew they'd have plenty of stories to tell once they returned to Orario. The legend of "The Setting Sun and the Sword Princess" would soon become a popular tale in the city's streets and taverns.

While most rejoiced at the scene, others reacted differently.

Riveria, Lefiya, and Tiona stood frozen like statues. Lefiya was the first to recover. A soft blush crept up her cheeks as she unintentionally imagined herself joining in that kiss.

Tiona, on the other hand, abruptly turned around, hugging her sister tightly and gritting her teeth.

"Damn it... Ais has no shame..." she muttered jealously.

"How could she move so fast? I wanted a chance too..."

Her sister gave her a confused but equally shaken look.

Meanwhile, Riveria, the veteran elf who had raised Ais as a daughter, was utterly devastated.

"Why... why did it turn out this way?" she wondered.

"For the first time, I had someone I loved. And a daughter I raised with such care. These two joys should've brought me happiness... So why did they turn into pain?"

At that moment, Riveria looked like the very picture of melancholy, as if the wind could carry her away like dust.

---

Even after leaving the dungeon and things had calmed down, the elf still seemed shaken — as if she'd lost an emotional war.

Not long after everyone had said their goodbyes to Yuri, Riveria made up some excuse and intercepted him on a quiet trail that night.

"Yuri Winters!" she shouted, her voice trembling with fury.

She was clearly enraged.

And rightfully so. After all, she had raised Ais since the girl was seven. Now, seeing her own foster daughter "steal" the man she loved right in front of her eyes was a betrayal that cut deep.

Yuri, however, didn't seem fazed. He stepped forward and gently touched her lips.

"This isn't the right place to talk," he said calmly.

"Let's go somewhere more suitable."

Before Riveria could react, Yuri picked her up and dashed off at high speed. When she came to, she found herself in a luxurious room.

It was one of many chambers in Apollo's mansion used by family members or guests. Here, Yuri didn't have to worry about Hestia finding out.

"Alright. Now that we're here, why don't you explain—ah!" Riveria began, but was cut off.

The young man pulled her by the waist and threw her onto the bed like a passionate thief. Without hesitation, he leaned over and kissed her intensely.

Riveria, though shocked, wrapped her arms around his neck, accepting him... and maybe, deep down, having longed for this all along.

Yuri had nearly broken the final wall of the proud elf's dignity when Riveria gripped his shoulders with surprising strength. Her eyes, trembling with a storm of emotion, overflowed with confusion and need. Despite being visibly shaken, her voice came out firm:

"Before we go any further... tell me. Who are you going to choose?" Her eyes shone like wet emeralds.

"What will you do with me... and Ais?"

The question was like an invisible blade pressed to Yuri's throat. One wrong move and everything would fall apart.

He paused. Took a deep breath. The heat of the moment gave way to quiet sincerity as he wrapped Riveria in a calm, comforting embrace. With his lips near her ear, he whispered:

"I choose you... But I also choose Ais. And all the others who gave me their love, trust, and time. I know it's selfish... But I can't abandon any of you. It's not just about wanting — it's about needing. Each of you completes a part of me."

Riveria was silent for a moment. Her eyes slowly closed, processing the weight of those words. For a moment, he thought she would push him away. But then she sighed — a long sigh, as if releasing a lifetime of tension — and murmured:

"You idiot..." she said, resting her forehead against his chest.

"You know you're leaving me no choice, right?"

Yuri smiled. A calm smile full of tenderness.

"If you're willing to accept me... I promise it will be worth it. I don't want any of you to feel left behind. I don't want to divide love — I want to multiply it."

Riveria chuckled softly, her cheeks flushed.

"I should slap you for that cheesy line." She looked up at him, still hesitant, but didn't resist as he caressed her face with his fingertips, tracing gently to her chin.

"But instead..." she pulled Yuri closer and kissed him. A slow, mature kiss, full of longing, as if embracing the chaos that would come with loving him.

In that moment, there was no Riveria Ljos Alf. No general of the Loki Familia. Only a woman in love, giving in to the desire to finally have the man who had long made her heart flutter in silence.

Yuri held her waist firmly as he kissed her. His hands moved with purpose, but with care — the reverence of a man who didn't want to simply take, but honor.

His lips traveled down Riveria's neck, and she arched under the rising heat inside her. His fingers traced her elven curves, each touch like fire on her skin. When he undressed her completely, his eyes took her in with quiet desire, as if memorizing every detail.

Riveria, in turn, hastily pulled at his shirt, her fingers trembling between buttons and fabric. She wanted to feel his skin, his warmth, the weight of the body she had long yearned for. When he finally undressed and their bodies met completely, she gasped, her breasts pressing against his firm chest, their warm, sweaty skin contrasting with the chill of the early morning air.

"Do you want me?" he murmured, brushing his lips against her ear.

"Yes." she whispered, eyes closed, legs instinctively parting to welcome him.

Yuri entered her firmly, and Riveria let out a moan, a blend of surprise and pleasure. They moved together in a rising rhythm, as if the world had ceased to exist. The friction was wet and intense, and the sounds of sighs and skin echoed in the quiet room.

His hands gripped her thighs, hips thrusting with precision, each movement drawing new moans from the elf's lips. Riveria gave herself completely, her nails raking down Yuri's back, legs wrapped around his waist, pulling him deeper.

"Deeper..." she begged, between muffled cries.

He complied, leaning in, pressing her body into the mattress and thrusting more intensely. The bed creaked beneath them, but neither cared. In that moment, there were no fears, reputations, or obligations. Only pleasure.

Yuri kissed her breasts between thrusts, nibbled her earlobe, whispered muffled words Riveria couldn't always understand — but felt. Their heat built with every motion, and when the climax came, it was like a controlled explosion, a silent scream that rippled through them both in waves of deep pleasure.

Riveria trembled beneath him, her body pulsing with sensation, her chest heaving. Yuri stayed inside her for a moment, eyes locked with hers, their sweaty bodies still joined as if they couldn't bear to part.

"I'll never leave you," he whispered, kissing her forehead.

She smiled, eyes teary.

"You'll be my downfall, Yuri..." she murmured.

"Only if I get to be your luck too."

She didn't reply, but the smile he felt against his skin said enough.

---

The next morning, freshly bathed and lightly scented, Yuri went to meet Hestia to register his new level promotion.

"This time, your development ability options are [Poison Resistance], [Swordsman], and [Magic]," Hestia said, twirling her quill.

He considered the choices in silence.

"Magic," he decided firmly.

With that development ability, from now on, any spell he cast would have increased power — a perfect gift for someone who blended techniques from many worlds.

For Yuri, each step brought him closer to a new kind of strength. But that day, he had achieved something harder than magic or might: the heart of one of Orario's firmest, most unyielding women.

And she was no longer alone.
